Gates Of Elver
As I walked through the delicate silver grass, I absentmindedly brushed my chilled fingertips over the
waist length strands. Lifting my face toward the amber sun, my eyes shined with unshed tears.
Slowly I moved my teal orbs from the burning star. I peered at the breathtaking lavender and pastel
green sky stretching past the greying trees. Slowly the smothering fog rolled into the exotic meadow,
covering the surrounding area in a sharp, soothing cloak the smelt like fresh snow on a crisp morning.
Walking toward the main feature of the field, I stopped at a quaint oak styled tree the size of the
empire state building. The huge tree had a thick ebony trunk that on close inspection had delicate
carvings of some wolf typed beast inscribed in the wood and the trees mass amount of hot embers.
Closing the distance between myself and the inanimate object, I stood on one of the leaves that
had freshly fallen from the black branches. The thin leaf turned to ash under my weight leaving a
fine ash under my small feet. Suddenly a strong gust of wind blew by carrying a strong scent of
cherry blossoms. When I started to breathe the scent, I slowly started falling forward then colliding
with a strong body. My hands kept holding onto the well toned biceps, his corded muscles shifting
under creamy white skin. I slid my eyes over his toned stomach, over his strong shoulders and up his
throat until I looked deep into his outlandish golden eyes. As I stood there in his arms staring into his
eyes I saw that he was crushed against the bark of the oak tree "oh I'm sorry" I said whilst I blushed
he said nothing and just stared down at me. I rushed backwards to get off of the mysterious man
and I managed to trip over a root. I waited to feel my body hit the earth but it never came, so I
looked up and saw a chest covered in only what could be described as a silver chain with rounded
pastel pink charms and obsidian tear shaped pendants hung mid chest. Glancing up to the man's
face, I notice for the first time his pearly white hair cascading over his rounded shoulders. Silver
brows covered by lengthy uneven bangs. I spoke in an uneven tone "that's twice now" glancing
down to hide my blush, I notice he is wearing ninja shorts tucked into heavy gothic looking boots, his
obi belt had various weapons hanging off it including a sword that had a rabbit looking creature
jumping away from the blade the blade was carved into the shape of a dragon wing. "Your sword is
beautiful" I mumble offhandedly. Suddenly a deep resonating voice spoke "his name is Elaara" I
blinked up at the strange man then my vision flickered back toward the `Elaara' sword. "Help me!
Where am I?" He let gently pushed me back to my feet and spoke again "this is Trapaaria" he said
"who are you?" I ask light headedly from the shock of not knowing where I am. "Prince Hiro" he
speaks proudly. With one last glance at hi charming face I move toward the tree once more placing
my hand upon the carved bark, I turn to face Hiro only to find he was gone. The shock on my face
must have been priceless, my one chance at leaving this extraordinary meadow and what lies
beyond just left in a gust of wind. "Don't leave I need your help. Please help me."
I sank to one of the raised roots protruding from the mossy earth. I just sat there for a few minutes
taking in all that had happened, while I watched the glorious blood red sun set past that silver tree
tops. I watched in awe as the sky burned bronze and a brazen cerise. Finally the tension finally got to
me and I started to cry, my sobbing echoed through the rolling countryside. "Come back I can't
leave without you" I sobbed into the moss covered root "Hiro".
