Mona and the Man

Mona happened to notice this cute, stranger walking up to her. She raised her eyebrow as he got closer.

"Hello," he said. She blinked at him.

"Are you alone?" the man asked. Mona gave him a confused look.

"Huh?" she asked.

"Are you alone?" the man asked again. He narrowed his eyes. Could she understand him? He stepped closer. Mona's eyes shifted left and right. Was he talking to her? Why?

"Can I get you a drink?" he asked.

"Why?" Mona asked. The man shrugged.

"You're pretty cute," he said.

"Cute?" she asked. She tried to act like he didn't understand what he was saying. Maybe then he would take a hint.

"Do you have a boyfriend?" the man asked.

"No..." Mona said. She stared at him. What was going on? Why was he so interested in her?

"What do you want with me?" she asked. The man blinked. So she could speak English.

"Huh?" he asked.

"Why are you asking me these questions?" she asked. The man smiled like a happy little puppy.

"You're really hot," he said. "Can I buy you a drink?" Mona stared at him with big eyes.

"Uh... bye!" she shouted. She ran to the dance floor.

"Hey! Wait!" the man yelled. He chased after with his hand out to her. The other girls watched. They wondered who was going to give first. Meanwhile, Mona couldn't figure why he wanted her so much. The man just had to have her.

"I just want to buy a drink," he said. Mona didn't respond as she disappeared into the dancing crowd.
