The are lot of thing you expect
You and your siblings are expected to eventually leave the house and marry
It is possible for your parents to divorce and marry different people
And you would learn to live with it even if half-sibling are to come in the package
But for your revered Grandmother to remarry…
Well for starters how are you supposed to refer to the newly acquired relation?
Granpa? Both my grandparents have been gone for over 15 years
Step grandfather... well it just sounds odd.
The only good thing is that you are not to be concerned of your Grandma eloping right?
Or more new blood relations for having a new half aunt or uncle having kids of your own is just weird.
It is odd however every day you hear about very old men having kids and actually bragging, society is benevolent.
The oddities of and old lady trying to revive her youth with a much younger man are just creepy.
But for someone to date someone her own generation and actually decide that she wants to go through the whole ordeal of marrying is…a story out of the most romantic fiction
Your mother, aunts and uncles would probably freak
The grandsons and daughters would either find it odd or actively support it
Well it certainly is a matter of point of view.
Particularly if you are to be the maid of honor in the wedding of your own eighty something grandmother.
