Chapter: 1

Conflicts

 

“Hurry it up McFaul, or your staying in longer.” Gerald turned around at the sound of the guard's voice. Sky Victor, the Guard that was leading Gerald to his cell, was smiling at him with an annoying look on his face. Gerald hated Sky; he was the one who walked him around jail after all. Im going to kill you when I get out of here Sky, Gerald thought as he looked at the officer. Gerald smiled, because he knew that it would make the guard uneasy. The guard just kept smiling lightly and walking behind Gerald, taking him to his cell.

 

Gerald walked the halls of the French jail. He looked at his surroundings, Joe was punching the wall in his cell like usual, and Paul was doing push ups, probably getting ready to attack the guard, Gerald thought grimly. Gerald shook his head, he didn't know what was with these guys, and do they seriously think that if they punch out one guard, just one, will grant them freedom? Get real, jail was not like that.

 

After awhile, Gerald started to get uneasy; they had passed his cell already and were continuing down a hall way toward an unknown destination. He turned around and looked at sky, “Where are you taking me?” he asked.

 

“I need to talk to you privately, so Im taking you to a private room, where people talk to families.” Sky answered. Gerald just shrugged. He may not kill sky after all, he may have him as a partner in crime. Gerald smiled at that.

 

Gerald and sky reached the metal door leading to the private chambers. Sky opened the door for him and walked in behind him, shutting the door.

 

“Sit down, Gerald, I want to make a deal with you.” Sky said, pointing to a chair in front of a desk. Gerald sat and asked what he wanted. Sky smiled and sat down in front of Gerald.

 

 

 

“Im just going to lay it out for you, Gerald. Im not human, and I need a partner to help me find some people.” Sky sat back and waited for Gerald to talk. He just sat there with a dazed look in his eyes.

 

Gerald had to clear his throat a few times before he could talk. “Look I don't know what kind of game you're playing at now, but you are one sick fellow to tell me something like that.”

 

“Do you not believe me Gerald?” Sky asked, Gerald shook his head. “Fine, I will prove it.” Sky stood up and leaned across the table, getting right in Gerald's face. “Look in my eyes Gerald, and tell me what you see.” Gerald looked into sky's eyes and saw something flash. Gerald blinked and rubbed his eyes, he looked at them again.

 

Gerald saw flashes of silver and gold in Sky's eyes. Then, after a couple of minutes, Gerald sat back and looked a sky. “I will do as you wish Master Victor, you have my loyalty and alliance, I will do all you ask of me.” Gerald sat mute after his speech, waiting for his master to talk to him or give him orders. Sky smiled at a job well done, and sat back in his chair.

 

“Very well, cheri ami, you may leave this prison today so you can accompany me, and help moi find suitable prey. Now leave, I have work to do.” Gerald stood up and nodded. Sky took the cuffs off his wrists, as soon as the cuffs were off, Sky said, “C'est va, aller.” And Gerald vanished.

 

Gerald appeared outside of a three story house made of old wood, in a nice neighborhood with dogs and kids running freely. The area was all green grass and a lot of trees everywhere. Gerald looked toward the house and saw two women walk out the front door. One, the shorter one, was wearing a short sleeved black shirt and jeans, she had long, light brown hair and Gerald couldn't see her eyes from this far away. The other one, the taller one, had on a black tank top and army pants. She had pitch black hair and was about 5' 7', two inches taller then the other one.

 

 

 

After they drove off in a new Acura, Gerald finally got why his master sent him here. He looked back to where the women drove off. They were his master's prey.

 

 

Chapter: 2

Meeting the enemy

 

 

“What do you want to do now?” Shacy asked as she drove her and her sister to the theater to meet up with their brother, Dan, and their boyfriends.

 

“Like I said the last million times, go to the movies and see Dan and the guys. Then all of us go out to eat at the new Olive Garden. Can you not hear or something?” Rose said in an irritated tone. Shacy just looked at her sister and made a face. Rose caught it and stuck her tongue out at Shacy.

 

 

When they arrived at the movies, the guys already had their tickets and were waiting for them in the lobby.

 

“Come on, hurry up you slow pokes.” Dan said, their brother. Shacy and rose got on either side of him and punched him in the arm. “Owe, that hurt you mean people.” Dan smiled and grabbed his two older sisters in a big bear hug. “You may be older then I am, but im still bigger.” Dan smiled again and set them down. They hit him on the arm again, then ran behind their boyfriends. They all laughed and headed for the movie.

 

Chris, Rose's boyfriend, put his arm around her and said, “I think we need to play a prank on Shacy and Kevin, just to make them mad.” Rose looked behind her and saw Shacy and her boyfriend, Kevin, holding hands and walking. She smiled and nodded to Chris. They all walked in to the movie, Harry Potter; and the Goblet of Fire, and they watched it without mishap.

 

After the movie, they all went to Olive Garden and ate, then they went to Shacy's and Rose's house to play Uno.

 

 

 

 

 

When they arrived at the house in three different cars, Dan's, Shacy's, and Chris's, they saw that the house lights were on, when Rose distinctly remembers turning them off.

They all parked in the driveway, except Chris, he parked on the side of the street, and got out, slowly and quietly approaching the house. Dan put his fingers to his lips, telling the others to be quite and stay there.

 

Dan got to the front door and looked in, he saw a man going through their refrigerator. Dan frowned and walked in the house with Chris and Kevin behind him.

 

“What do you think you're doing in my sisters' house.” Dan yelled at the man. The man jumped and shut the refrigerator, he turned and looked at Dan and the others with one eyebrow raised.

 

“Im looking for the two women who live here, my Master wants to talk to them.” The man said, “ And you may call me Gerald, I am the messenger.” The man turned to look behind Dan and the other two to the two women approaching the door. “There you two are, I was wondering if I got the right house.” The man smiled like they were the best of pals, then he started to walk toward the woman. The guys stepped in the way.

 

“Your not going any where near my sisters, so leave before you get hurt.” Dan said through gritted teeth. The other two were also getting mad at this intruder. Gerald just shook his head at them, he didn't get these people, it was a privilege to be called upon by the master. He sighed, these people are so stupid.

 

“You do not need to worry about your dear sisters, they will be the master's property, so stop while you can, and he is very testy.” Gerald said as he walked closer to the women and men.

 

Dan moved forward and grabbed the man by the shirt and pushed him against the wall, “Back off of my sisters or I will kill you, got me Gerald, and tell your precious master that he cant come near me family, and if he wants to, he better come himself, not send a puny man like you.” Dan dropped the man and grabbed the back of his shirt, he dragged him outside and pushed him on the ground, “Leave if you know whats good for you, now!” the man jumped up and ran down the driveway, into the dark.

 

 

Dan walked back his sisters and hugged them, “Don't you two worry, I'll stay with you tonight.” Dan looked at the other guys, “And you two can go home now, I'll watch them.” The guys gave their last hug to the girls and drove away saying that they would see them tomorrow.

 

Dan looked at the girls again, “Let's go to sleep, we don't need to be thinking about him, that's all he wanted, was to scare us. The girls nodded and went to their rooms to sleep, while Dan slept on the couch, near the door.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Chapter: 3

Party Time

 

Dan woke up to the smell of fantastic food, also known as Rose's cooking. He stretched and yawned, forgetting about the crazy man from last night. Dan got up and walked over to Rose while scratching his head. “What's for breakfast?” he asked.

 

Rose looked over at him, “Good morning, Dan. And we are having bacon, eggs, and toast. And whatever else you want to put on it.” Rose smiled at Dan, and then looked behind him at shacy, who was coming down the stairs yawning. “Good morning to you too sis, why must you sleep so late?” shacy just looked at Rose.

 

“Because it's normal to sleep, and not get up at six in the morning every single day.” Shacy said and sat down at the table. “When will it be ready im starving.” Shacy yawned again, making Dan yawn too. Dan sat down next to shacy.

 

“Time to eat.” Rose said as she set the plates pilled with food on the table in front of them. A little cheer came out of Dan and Shacy. They all ate and talked at the table, then, right when they were finishing, Chris and Kevin came in the door, smiling and all.

 

“Hey girls, and Dan.” Kevin said as he hugged Shacy, and Chris hugged Rose.

 

“Hey guys.” Dan replied.

 

“Hey, I was looking in the paper this morning and saw something that we could do today.” Chris said.

 

“And what is that?” Shacy asked.

 

“There's this new park that they opened today, and if you want we could all go to the party that their throwing for the celebration.” Kevin said.

 

 

“Sure, why not? After last night, I feel like a little partying. “ Rose said, and bumped her hip to Shacy's.

 

“Yeah, so, when does the party start?” Dan asked them.

 

 

“Their going to a party tonight Master. I think that we can intercept them and finally get what we wanted, those girls as searchers.” Gerald said to Sky. Sky looked over at Gerald and saw a man with new hope, a man, who, by the way, isn't man, with a mission in life. Sky smiled.

 

“Yes, I see what you mean. How bout this, we go to the party, and we get them when their all alone, then, we take them, and if the sisters don't want to listen, we kill them and their brother and boyfriends, so that when my people come down here, they will be able to feed, and not starve on their first day on a new planet.” Sky said as he and Gerald walked through the park, admiring the scenery. “Yes, my people will love it here, it's so pretty and lovely.” Sky smelled the air. “And the air is so fresh.”

 

Gerald looked at his Master and nodded. He to loves the scenery and everything else.

 

“What time do you want to get then Master?” Gerald asked Sky.

 

“How about now, we will sit in the park now and when it gets dark, we'll get them.” Sky said as they continued to walk, Gerald nodded.

 

“I will keep an eye out for them, Master.”

 

 

 

Rose and everyone arrived at the party just as it was getting dark and the party was starting to get good. “So, what do you want to do now?” Rose asked everyone. Chris took her hand and let her to the dancing area, “How `bout we dance.” Chris said as he twirled her around.

 

They were all dancing for quite a while. They didn't even realize that Gerald and Sky were watching the whole time, smiling and making plans for them. Sky watched as they set out to the cliff.

 

 

 

“Set it down here, I don't want to be too close to the edge.” Shacy said as she looked over the railing at the pointing rocks below. “Why would they build a park this close a death fall?”

 

“I don't know, your talking about people, their unpredictable.” Rose said as she and Chris sat on the blanket that they just laid out for everyone.

 

“You're definitely right about that Roselina De Lion Count, people are stupid and very unpredictable.” Sky said as he and Gerald approached the group. They smiled. “And it's so nice to finally meet you dear humans.”

“What do you want, I thought you left us alone.” Rose said, she was starting to get scared now. She hid behind Chris.

 

“Now, now, don't get scared, we just need you to come with us girls, so the guys will have to die, sorry.” Gerald said gleefully. He pulled out a gun and aimed it at Dan, “And you can be the first to go.” Rose and Shacy were hiding behind Chris and Kevin, while Dan was in the middle of the open space. What happened next was one of the worst things that ever happened in Rose and Shacy's life.

 

Dan charged Gerald, going for the gun. As Dan got close, Gerald fired and hit Dan in the heart, Dan went down immediately. Shacy screamed and tried to run to Dan, but Kevin stopped her and turned her away from seeing it. Chris gave Rose to Shacy and told Kevin to help him. Kevin and Chris attacked Gerald from two different directions.

 

“You humans are so stupid, you leave the prey in the open area.” Gerald said, he pointed the gun at the two huddling women, he shot both of them in the head before either of the guys could get there.

 

“No!” Kevin and Chris screamed as they saw the girls lay limp and motionless. They both turned toward Gerald and Chris talked him, wrestling for the gun. Kevin didn't know what to do, he didn't want to interfere with the fight, because he might cause the gun to go off. Then, Kevin remembered the other man that was with Gerald. Kevin turned toward him.

 

“You, I bet you are the one that Gerald calls Master, am I right?” Kevin said as he ran at Sky. Sky just smiled.

 

 

“Yes, I am the one that he calls master, and I am his master as surely as you are dead.” When Kevin got close enough, Sky reached out his hand and grabbed Kevin's neck, he snapped it a second later.

 

Kevin lay limp, hanging in the air by Sky's hand. Sky through Kevin to the side and walked over to were Gerald and Chris were still fighting over the gun.

 

Sky reached down and took the gun from both of their grabbing hands. “That's enough, its time you die.” Sky shot Chris in the head and through the gun over the railing to the pointing rocks. As Gerald got up, Sky said, “It's time to move Gerald, I will call to my people so that we can take over this godforsaken human race.”

 

After Gerald got up, they both stood there a second, looking at the dead corpses and said nothing. Out of nowhere, 5 people just appeared in front of Sky, then 10, 20, 25,30. The people kept coming till about 100 were there. Sky smiled when one man in particular came and shook hands with him.

 

 

“It is good to see you again Quentin.” Sky said.

 

“And I you, Victor.” Quentin replied.

 

“My people, please listen to me now, you are now on a new planet that will fit all of our needs. The humans can be our food, the plants our oxygen, and the animals, our friends. We will treat this planet with more heart then the humans have. This is now our world!” Sky gave his speech to his people, and when there was a loud cheer coming from them, he turned and walked over to Gerald, “And you my friend, are my accomplice, you will be my right hand man through all of this.” Gerald nodded and bowed to Sky.

 

“I am forever with you Master.” Gerald replied.

 

“Good, now come with me so we could take over the world.” Sky said as he and his people moved through the park, looking at their destiny and new home.
