Chapter 6: Alexia's Fury

 

“That fucking Bastard! How dare he leave me, I made him who he is and this is How he repays me!” Needless to say, Alexia was a bit furious. Justas had made threats before, but he'd never actually gone through with any of it. It had to be that little bitch that had so recently become his servant. If Sylvia had anything to say about it Justas would return to her and beg for her forgiveness. She might even forgive him instead of killing him and his bitch on sight.

“You there, get a party together and find our little friend. I want a full report by the time the sun goes down tonight. I'm going to bed, do not disturb me!”

“Yes, ma'am.”

Always the same reply, always in that compliant manner. Why is it nothing ever got done unless she was screaming her head off? “Move it!” All Alexia wanted now was a nice long visit to her hot tub and rest. The idiots she hired for security should be able to find her pet now, hopefully.

“Ma'am.”

“What now Laurence? I thought I said not to disturb me until you've found them.”

“We've located them ma'am, but there's a small complication.”

“WHAT!”

“Yes ma'am there is a slight issue in retrieving the runaways. They went into Darmouth's territory, under his protection and we can't get anywhere near his territory or the fugitives, we'll be slaughtered.”

“Damn. I really wish that things would have worked out differently. Fine, I will talk with Darmouth tomorrow. Now Good Night and for what`s left of your life`s sake, do not disturb me again.”

“Yes ma'am, no problem ma'am.” and he managed just a hint of sarcasm.
