"So, do you have a name?" Callie asked the dragon. It made a few growls and Callie nodded.
"What did it say?" asked Sara.
"Well, first off, it's a boy. Secondly, his name is Draco," Callie explained to her friend, who nodded. Draco then floated over to Sara, who stared at him nervously. He sniffed her for a few seconds before his eyes widened a fraction. Turning, he made a couple of growls over at Callie and her eyes widened.
"What? What did he say?" Sara asked, noticing the interaction between the two.
"Well, he said that...you're like me," Callie told her. Draco nodded and did a small flip in the air. Landing in front of Sara, she noticed a necklace similar to the one Callie had, except that the stone was red. The stone glowed for a minute, blinding the girls. After the glow faded, Callie noticed the necklace was now around Sara's neck.
"Hey, look!" she said, pointing. Blinking curiously, Sara looked down.
"How did this get on?" she asked, touching the stone. Draco made some more growls and Callie nodded in understanding.
"Draco says that you are the warrior, Ignis Bird, with power over fire."
"Really...fire's cool...or should I say hot?" Sara said with a grin. Callie laughed and nodded. At that moment, Draco began to growl wildly.
"What's wrong with Draco?" Sara asked.
"There's another attack! Come on!" Callie said, running out of the house, Sara following, Draco returning to his keychain form and riding in Callie's pocket. After a few minutes of running, they reached the park and saw people running away.
"I guess this is the place," Callie said, she and Sara running past the people and into the park. A few meters inside, they saw what looked like a giant, black, mutated squirrel.
"Um, so how do we transform?" Sara asked Callie nervously.
"That's a good question," Callie said, rubbing her chin.
"You don't know?!"
"Well, the first time was....well, I don't know how I did it."
"So what do we do?" Sara asked, looking at her friend before looking over at the mutated squirrel, who hadn't noticed them yet. It was then that Draco returned to his dragon form and began growling.
"What's he saying?" Sara asked, staring at Draco.
"He said...'Concentrate'," Callie answered. The girls looked at each other before nodding and closing their eyes, concentrating on transforming. A blue glow covered Callie and a red glow covered Sara. When the glows faded, Callie stood their as Aqua Dragon. Sara now wore an orange, skin tight sleeveless top and shorts, red armor shaped like a bird (phoenix), orange, high heeled boots and fingerless gloves. Her hair was now a dark orange and her eyes were a dark red. A pair of orange phoenix wings were now on her back.
"I'm Aqua Dragon, warrior of the east!"
"I'm Ignis Bird, warrior of the south!"
"Together, we can win!" they yelled together.
"Aqua Sword!" Aqua Dragon shouted, her sword forming in her hand.
"Ignis Bow!" Ignis Bird yelled, a red bow with orange flame designs appearing in her hand. Concentrating, she formed an arrow in her other hand.
"Let's do it!" Aqua Dragon said and Ignis Bird nodded. Jumping into the air, they floated above the mutated squirrel.
"Take this!" they shouted, attacking. The giant squirrel let out a yell of pain before glowing, reverting back to a normal squirrel. As the squirrel ran away, the girls transformed back to normal.
"That was so cool!" Sara said, looking at her necklace.
"Yeah, now we better get out of here," Callie told her. Sara nodded and the two girls and Draco ran (or in Draco's case, flew) out of the park and back to Callie's house.
"You know, I've been thinking," Sara said once they got in the house, causing Callie to look at her.
"About what?" Callie asked.
"We need a name," Sara said.
"Yeah, a name would be nice," Callie agreed.
" I've got it! Legend Guardians!" Sara said, pumping a fist in the air.
"Legend Guardians, huh? Hm....sounds good," Callie said.
"So from now on, we shall be known as the Legend Guardians!"
"What did it say?" asked Sara.
