She slowly walked through the darkness with shiny tears streaming down her white features.
The tall figure that seemingly floated across the roof walkway, in a shimmering blood red dress. Her corn colored hair flew behind her as she let the dark ribbon go from her silken locks. She was done, she was broken. The girl hummed to the blaring song behind her ~trust me, there's no need to fear, everyone's here, waiting for you to finally be one of us, come down maybe for of fear, but you'll be safe here when you finally trust me finally believe in me~ In her hands held a small locket with two tiny pictures inside it, along with a pot of ashes that was once her lover." I asked you not to leave me" the girl sobbed as she neared the end of the walkway. In one last memory, she saw their last day together. It was in a out of the way field where they had spent the day with each other. Later as the sun had set over the tree lines in beautiful orange-pink hues he had lit several cream candles that smelled of lavender and jasmine. Slowly he pulled her to her feet and played her favorite song to which they had both met for the first time. When the song had come to its crescendo, the boy had gotten on his knees and had asked her to be with him till the end of time. She cried out of happiness and said as long as he would never leave her. He had embraced her and promised to never leave her. They had slept together under the stars that night. The next day her lover was taken from her, by the crack of a gun as they mistaken him for his brother. She vowed that she would never love another, at his funeral as she had told of the night before that tragic day. For inside her grew, what they had wanted for the future. Nine months later, the child of her lover was given to his parents as she prepared for the night to come. ~trust me I'll be there when you need me, you'll be safe here, when you finally trust me finally believe in me, never want to come down, never want to come down , never want to come down~ She had spent the day the last place they were together, in that cold field. Ice had encrusted her and turned her cold. When she arrived at the house they had lived in together she had dawned the dress that she had danced with him last, in that field. a low-cut dress that came down to her ankles the color of fresh blood. She smiled at the color of it. She turned on that last song they had enjoyed together blasting it to the world to hear. She walked out to the walkway they had both spent many a night a top of. She worked herself over the railing that her lover had erected to protect her from falling. With tears silently falling, she turned and fell in a blush of blood red color against the sky. She had fell into her lovers waiting arms as she breathed her last breath on that cold starry night. ~I will Let you down, I'll let you down, I'll let you down, when you finally trust me, when you finally believe in me~
