"Its been two months since the incident" Thinks Marise as she walks down the cold dark street looking for something, anything to help her growling stomach.
It was her 14th birthday with no family or friends to celebrate it with and nowhere to go.
"Mom, Dad, you don't know how much I miss you both.." She says quietly to herself while looking up at the sky, silent tears running down her cheeks.
Then like the sky seen her crying, it started raining, like it was crying along with her.
"Great" She thinks angrily "Its dark and now its raining.."
She starts making her way to the abandon part of town where she lives. Images start flashing through her mind as she walks past her old home or what as left of it. Pieces of wood that didn't burn down lay on the wet ground. "Seems just like yesterday that it all happened.."
