Lyre watched Eldinia undress with interest. He was much better than the males in the strip club. If only he were a demon...Lyre shook his head as he drove the thoughts from his mind. He already had a boyfriend. A demon noble, no less, so why was he fantasizing about a mere human? He folded his wings close to his body as he took off his shirt. He ran a hand over his bare chest for a moment then moved down to his pants.
"I'm surprised that a demon is being hesitant about his body," Eldinia commented and Lyre looked at him. Why did he care anyway?
"I'm not being hesitant," Lyre replied as he pushed down his pants. Eldinia watched him for a moment then continued speaking.
"There used to be a demon family near here. Then Illexian showed up and killed them all."
"What was the name?"
"Martyr. Nuen, the eldest, was the first to die. I saw him killed."
"How far did he go with you?"
"We were...extremely intimate."
Lyre said nothing as he flexed his wings. He set a foot into the water, aware that Eldinia was awaiting a response from him. How could a demon noble lower himself to the likes of a human? Had Nuen been insane? Why would any demon settle for a human when there were so many beautiful demons out there?
"His family rejected him when they found out," Lyre said as he immersed his body into the water. He closed his eyes as he felt the water's warmth on his body. It felt so good but he wished that Nylia was around to provide him that extra little something in the bath..
"Yes. We were going to live together when he was killed," Eldinia replied as Lyre opened his eyes slightly.
"Did your father know?"
"If he did, he never said anything about it."
"Is that what guides your spirit? Revenge for the loss of a lover?"
"Yes. It worked. We made it work. We really loved each other."
"You're not going to let your emotions control you on this journey, are you?"
"No. I've moved past emotions. I'm a fighter, not a lover anymore."
Lyre relaxed slightly as Eldinia handed him a bar of soap. Lyre took it from him and Eldinia glanced at his wings.
"You're going to need some help cleaning them," he commented and Lyre sighed. He knew Eldinia was correct. He just didn't like the idea of a human touching him. He found it ironic that he was willing to become a stripper in a human club and yet he was not willing to let a human get close to him. It was because, he supposed, that taking clothes off in front of someone else was completely different than intimacy. One could strip and not expect anything intimate but touching tended to mean something else.
"All right. I know it has to be done."
"Thank you. It's been a long time since I've gotten to do this."
He placed his hands on Lyre's wings and gently rubbed them. Lyre thought of Nylia and sighed. If he were there, the bath would definitely be an enjoyable experience. He thought of Nylia gently kissing him and sighed. He sat up straight and sniffed the air. There was a familiar scent in the air. It was a smell he knew from when he was an infant. His ears twitched as he heard footsteps near the spring.
"It's probably my father telling us to hurry up," Eldinia commented as he continued to rub Lyre's wings. Lyre drew away from him and stood up. He shook his wings and opened the door.
"That's what I like to see," Nylia commented as he stepped inside.
"What are you doing here? How's Dad?" Lyre asked as Nylia stroked his middle.
"He's pissed off with you," Nylia said and kissed Lyre's neck.
"Tell me something I don't know."
"He's pretty bad off. The doctor had to tranquilize him so that he could get some rest. What you did really upset him."
"I know, but what the hell was I supposed to do? Just blow off what that bastard did to me and my dad?"
"No..."
"All right then."
"I want to come with you."
"No."
"Why not?"
"I don't want you hurt."
"I understand his feelings," Eldinia said and Nylia looked at him.
"Who are you?" he asked.
"He's coming with me," Lyre said.
"Why?"
"Are you jealous? He's got a grudge against Illexian too."
"For what?"
"He broke one of our cultural rules."
"You mean...?"
"Yes."
"Who?"
"Nuen of the Martyr family."
"No way. That's one of the most respected families...."
"Look, we held a true love for each other. I was an equal to him," Eldinia said as Nylia continued to massage Lyre.
"Was he killed because of that?" Nylia asked.
"No."
"Let go of me, babe. I want you to go back with Lee and Dad and keep them safe. You know how Lee gets," Lyre said.
"Yes, I know," Nylia said. Lyre kissed him deeply and Eldinia watched them, licking his lips intently as he remembered how Nuen had made love to him. Nylia stroked Lyre's ears, running his fingers over Lyre's earrings. Eldinia gazed at all of his earrings and sighed.
"God, he's fine," Eldinia commented and Nylia looked at him.
"He's my baby," Nylia said as he licked Lyre's ear.
"You need to keep Dad safe. Go on back. I'll be fine," Lyre said.
"Can I take a quick suck on your beautiful muscle?"
"You're sounding like Lee. Stop it."
"Can I?"
"All right."
Nylia got on his knees and placed his mouth over Lyre's groin. He began licking it and Lyre grinned. Eldinia watched them with interest as Lyre ran his fingers through Nylia's hair. Lyre's tail flicked back and forth in excitement as Nylia continued to lick him. He could feel his internal temperature rising and he tried to keep his emotions under control. He was getting excited too quickly and he tried to remember what his father told him about prolonging the feeling.
"Baby stop."
"You don't want him to stop. I know that look. Nuen would get like that a lot," Eldinia said as Lyre raised his head up in excitement. He couldn't hold back any more. There was a knock on the door just as Lyre vocalized his emotions. Nylia drew away and grinned as he wiped his mouth.
"I know that's my dad. We need to get dressed. We've wasted enough time in here," Eldinia said as he picked up his clothes.
"Go on out baby. Take care," Lyre said as Nylia opened the door.
"We're ready to leave," the doctor said and Nylia nodded his head.
"'Bye baby. I love you," Nylia said as he kissed Lyre fondly.
"I know. Stay safe."
"You too. I don't want to lose you. You're my lover honey."
Lyre watched Nylia walk away as he put on his shirt. Eldinia stood beside him and watched him with interest as he pulled his hair out of his shirt. He was such a beautiful demon with uniquely colored hair. It was too bad that he couldn't view humans the same way Nuen did. If Lyre did, then he would finally get the satisfaction he'd been longing for so long. But, sadly, Lyre was already spoken for. Why were all the good looking ones taken?
"He's very attached to you," Eldinia said and Lyre nodded his head.
"Yes, he is. I love him so. We were deemed as lovers when I was very young. We've been that close for nearly sixteen years," Lyre replied.
"Nice. Well, let's go pack our provisions."
