-One Week Before the Wedding-

It was easy to find Akiko. Valentina had her sources after all. She was going keep to things as simple as possible. Boris and Valentina rode down to the dormitory. They pulled up into the parking lot.

“Are you sure about this?” he asked.

“Yes,” Valentina said. “I won't be long.” She got out of the car.

“Good luck,” Boris said. Valentina nodded. The girl walked up to the building.

It took work to get in. You need a form of ID to get in. Valentina signed a visitor's form at the front desk. Minutes later, she had a visitor's pass.

Valentina found Akiko's dorm and knocked on the door. Mikhael's girlfriend opened wide.

“Hey,” Valentina said. The girl frowned.

“What are you doing here?” Akiko asked.

“I just want to talk,” the mob princess said.

“What do you want?”

“Wait for him.”

“Huh?”

“Mikhael. He still loves you. Wait for him.”

“I don't understand you.”

“What do you mean?”

“Why are you here?”

“Honestly. I don't know.”

Akiko started to speak but Valentina held up her hand.

“I just felt like I had to come here.”

“But why? What do you get out of this?”

“Nothing.”

“You can't be serious.”

“But I am.”

“You're full of shit.”

“No. Not in this case.”

“What the hell do you want from me?”

“To stay with him.”

“But aren't you marrying him?”

“Yes. But it's to take over the family business. I don't love him or anything.”

“What?”

“Do you still love him?”

“Well… yeah. I do love him. He is my boyfriend.”

Valentina took Akiko by the hands. “Then stay by him. Wait for him.”

“For how long?”

“Three years.”

“Three years? You can't be serious! Why is that?”

The mob princess took a breath and broke down everything.

“I… I think I like her!” he said. His face turned bright red.
