< br> Chapter one: Discovery

"Kisako, they're gaining on us!" a black haired man shouted as he ran beside his companion.

Rolling his eyes, the silver haired man who answered to the name Kisako responded. "Yes, I'm not blind you know."
"Good lord, I though I'd just let you know." LaRaine grumbled as he glanced behind his shoulder again.
"Come on hun, down this way." Kisako said grabbing LaRaine by the arm and turning into a dark alleyway.

LaRaine halted gasping for breathe as the pounding footsteps of at least a hundred men could be heard passing the alleyway. "What did we do to deserve this?" the short man asked as he bent over holding himself up using the brick wall.
"I dunno, maybe it's because we're smart enough to rebel against being one of their guniea pigs." Kisako said shrugging slightly.
The silver haired man, then proceeded in peering around the corner to see that the coast was clear.
"No ones out there." He said blankly. "But, that doesn't mean we should let our guard down. We, should most likely stay here for the night."
"Thank god." LaRaine answered sliding down the wall, and into a sitting position on the ground.
Kisako sighed, "I'm stuck traveling with you, what ever am I going to do?" he asked placing his hands on his hips.
The shorter man shrugged. "I dunno." He groaned as he felt his legs go numb from all the running he had been doing.

These two men, Motojime Kisako and Kokuzoku LaRaine, were now considered fugitives in the planet. Simply because, they had decided to no longer do the governments bidding. For as long as the ancient scriptures fortold the world had been completly controlled by the government, including the people who were kept in line by having chips placed into their arms. These chips eliminated emotions, free will, and personality making everyone pretty much the same as far as actions went. However, recently the chip of one Motojime Kisako malfunctioned and he gradually returned to normal. With in a month the device was completly gone. Realizing that he was somehow different, Kisako soon learned about the chip seeing as he worked in a government agency that delt with troublemakers. After discovering this, the 21 year old was quick to remove the chip from LaRaine's arm as well. And before they knew it, the two were considered insane criminals by the government and were the most wanted people in the whole planet.

Rubbing his temples, LaRaine sighed outwardly staring at the ground. "Maybe, it would have been a better idea to have kept the chip in my arm."
"And allow you to live as a lifeless drone, I couldn't do that to you." Kisako said.
"Yes you could've."
"No, I couldn't."
"Fine, thank you Kisako. You made the government hate us." LaRaine mumbled.
"Your welcome."
LaRaine sighed again. "I need some rest."
"Well then get some sleep." Kisako suggested.
"In this place, hell no." The black haired man scoffed.
"Come on, I could make you a nice bed of trash." Kisako suggested a smirk strectched across his face.
"Bastard." LaRaine muttered darkly.
"I know, thats why you love me."
"Who said I loved you?"
"Awww, you love me. LaRaine that's so nice." Kisako said in a teasing way.
LaRaine scowled. Looking up, he noticed a fire escape a little ways up. "If you need me, I'll be sleeping up there." He said pointing at the metal extension.
"Fine by me." Kisako replied shrugging.

The black haired man jumped up, grasping the metal bars of the ladder and pulling himself up into the fire escape. Soon, he was curled up in a ball fast asleep. "Aww, so cute when he's sleeping." Kisako joked. Leaning against the wall he quietly sat down and soon wandered off into a world of thought.
'When I removed the chip from him, I never meant to get him into this. If I could, I'd take back my actions but I suppose theres no turning back now.' He thought. 'However, there is one thing I'm asking myself. There were so many people I could remove the chip from, like Minami for example. Why did I choose LaRaine?'

Kisako was completly spacing, however was dragged out of his trail of thought when LaRaine stirred. He was snoring, but his snores were soft enough so that it sounded like he was purring. "Oh thats why." Kisako muttered with a small chuckle.

Kisako looked up, and could see a bit of LaRaine's sleeping form through the grated fire escape. His breathing was soft, his eyes closed so that his black lashes shadowed his cheeks. He was the definition of all beauty. Watching the younger man asleep caused Kisako to have a strange feeling in the pit of his stomach. One that he had never felt before. Could it possibly be....love?

'No, thats bull. LaRaine is another guy. And even if it was love he would never return the feeling. ' Kisako furiously thought to himself.

LaRaine stirred again and Kisako couldn't help but blush. Finally, after battling his inner thoughts the silver haired man found himself on the firee scape as well, back towards, LaRaine's fast asleep.
--------------------
"Kisako, wake up." LaRaine said shaking Kisako's shoulder furiously. "Kisako." He said yet again.
Finally, LaRaine bent down towards Kisako's ear. "Kisako, wake up." He whispered in a smooth voice.
This caused the silver haired mans eyes to snap open. Sitting up he tried to hide the blush tinging his cheeks.
"La...LaRaine, what the hell?" he asked.
LaRaine shrugged, smirking on the inside and then quickly leaped onto the ground below.
"Come on, we've got to get out of this town before dark or else our asses will be grass." LaRaine said as he stretched his arms.

Kisako however, was too busy staring at the man to even care what he was saying. He looked gorgeous with his shoulder length black hair, pale complexion, green eyes, and not to mention the rebellious dress style made him look drop down sexy.

"Blah, what am I thinking. I can't think that." Kisako shouted, not realizing it was out loud.
"Think what?" LaRaine asked.
Kisako blushed, "Erm. Nothing." He said wide eyed. Jumping off the fire escape himself he landed with a grunt next to LaRaine. "Ok, lets go." he said as he shoved his hands into his pockets.
LaRaine nodded and exited the alley this time only walking, everyone was still asleep and there was no chance that the government had kept their agents out this long. They probably though that LaRaine and Kisako were dead. The government had always been too pigheaded to care about anything.

Finally, after much wallking and occasional jogging the two men found themselves at the edge of the town watching as the sun went down.

"Wow." LaRaine exclaimed his green eyes widened by the sight of the orange disk sinking in the sky.
"Why are you wowing, you've seen the sunset every night since you've been born. Or do you wow it every night?" Kisako asked with a crooked grin.
"I know I've seen it all my life. It's just, this is the first time I actually have the will to appreciate it."
"I see." Kisako said, again finding himself staring at LaRaine in all. The sunlight was illuminating the mans beauty.
LaRaine, had for the first time noticed this and began waving his hand in front of Kisako's face. "Kisako, whats the matter. KISAKO DAMNIT."
"Wha...wha?" Kisako asked jumping back to reality.
LaRaine sighed, "I'm stuck traveling with you, what on Earth am I going to do?" he asked with a cocky grin.
