"Do you have to fix your hair now?" Clarisse asked. "You're going to sleep on it anyways."
"Yes I do," Audrey replied. "You never know when we might have to evacuate the building."
"Well hurry up its past midnight," Clarisse complained.
"There perfect," Audrey said. She climbed into her bed and turned off the light.
"Good morning," Audrey chirped happily.
"You get up too early," Clarisse groaned rolling over.
"But don't we want to beat Katie to the new salon?" Audrey asked smiling.
"Point," Clarisse said and got up.
Audrey put on her amazingly fashionable silk light pink dress while Clarisse donned a lavender skirt and white cashmere sweater top. They got into Audrey's red sports car and drove to the hottest new salon's grand opening. They sat in the car for a moment and fluffed their hair before entering.
"Oh pink," Audrey said happily looking at the walls. Clarisse rolled her eyes at her friend and smiled.
"May I help you?" a beautician asked.
"I need my hair re-glossed in Honey Blond," Audrey said.
"I'd like a trim," Clarisse said.
As the girls were getting their hair done something caught Clarisse's eye. She nudged her friend. Audrey looked and grinned evilly. "Told you it was worth getting up early."
Katie Crumbholt rushed out her blue sports car with her friend Zoey Champagne behind her. They rushed into the salon and frowned as Audrey and Clarisse waved.
"Totally worth it," Clarisse said as her hair was blowing dry. Audrey giggled.
"Now what do you want to do?" Audrey asked as they stepped into the warm sunlight.
"Um, I have to meet Josh," Clarisse said.
"Oh, well have fun," Audrey said forcing a smile.
"You could have any boy here you wanted," Clarisse said.
"But they only like me because I'm rich and beautiful," Audrey said flicking her golden blond hair.
"I feel your pain," Clarisse said sarcastically. "Get a boyfriend."
"Get a life," Audrey said.
Clarisse rolled her eyes and walked away.
'But she's right. I need a boyfriend,' Audrey thought to herself back in her dorm room. 'But I need someone who doesn't know who I am and can deal with my bitchy ditzyness.' She tapped her perfectly manicures nail to her chin. 'I need a poor boy.'
"Audrey, come on," Clarisse whined.
"Just one more curl," Audrey said. "There perfect." She brushed her fluffy hair and blew a kiss at her reflection. She climbed into bed and turned out the lights.
