"Do you really think you can beat me?"
A masked man with dark hair stood amongst the bodies of dead combatants on a broken battlefield. Hours earlier a fierce war was waged between the valiant soldiers of the Brigadoon Empire, and the malicious demons of the Dark Lord Cronos. His sword rest upon his shoulder as his hand grasped its hilt tightly. The wind flowed through the snow white fur of his black, sleveless coat. Across from him on the battlefield stood a lone warrior breathing heavily, his clothes were torn from battle. His sword tip rested on the ground while he held onto his ribs. He was obviously exhausted from the mighty battle that had taken place, but his eyes told of another story. They were filled with passion and determination for victory. He turned his battle harden eyes towards the dark lord and hoisted his blade to his shoulder.
"You shall not be victorious, Cronos. I refuse to give up while your evil reigns free over Brigadoon!" he declared.
Cronos threw his head back in hysterical laughter, his arrogance showing boldly. "It is too late for Brigadoon, Kito. The rest of glorious Agrathorn will soon fall under my command." The sword resting upon his shoulder began to glow with an eerie, blood red light. "And now I will put and end to your pathetic existence."
Cronos raised the sword above him ready to strike, Kito's breathing began to quicken as he awaited the next move. With blinding speed, an arc of red energy hurled towards Kito. The heat emitting from the energy was enough to burn the hair off one's body. At the last moment, he managed to counter the attack with a blue energy arc of his own. The collision of the two attacks created a shockwave of power that pushed them both back, the bodies that lay on the ground in the area blew away. As the dust settled, both men stood gazing at each other with piercing eyes.
"Hmph, looks like you have a little power still in you." Cronos observed.
Kito staggered a little, he held his ribs in pain. *I have to end this now... my power is fading with every passing moment.*
Cronos smiled arrogantly behind his mask, he was ready to end this long and gruesome battle. "Hmm, I think I'll end this with a little spell that I just learned." He then placed his sword infront of him and released his grasp on the hilt. The sword hovered in midair as he chanted an incantation. "Yakuiojurotioyakuiojurotio...." The sword glowed fiercely with a menacing black energy, more eerie than before. It gave of a vibe that could unsettle the strongest of warriors. Kito watched this malevolent man closely never taking his eyes off him for a second. Kito's right arm began to blaze with blue energy as he gathered in power.
"I will end this with the next move." declared Kito.
Cronos let out a small chuckle. "As will I."
The two warriors gazed at each other with determination and callous in their eyes. Cronos grabbed his sword and pulled it straight out pointing back while Kito raised his blade and grasped it with both hands. With an inhuman roar of power, they both swung their weapons forward releasing a large beam of power at each other. The two energies met in the middle of the battlefield creating a massive power surge, the dead bodies around them disintegrated while debris went flying in every direction. The dark sky above them shifted into an ominous purple color as the colliding energie became one forming a large sphere. Suddenly with a mum bang the sphere imploded into nothing. Kito and Cronos stared at each other in confusion, they had no idea what was about the happen in a few seconds. The sphere then resurfaced bursting into a massive surge of white light that blanketed the area including them both. As the light faded, all that stood was a few broken trees. Both warriors were gone into nothingness.
"Jason Theodore Anderson, do you think this is funny?! Because i sure don't!" he scolded.
Jason cleared his throat putting on a serious face. "Um no sir I don't. I believe that whoever did this to you should be dealt with accordingly." he replied.
The gentleman covered in condements smirked at this comment, intertwining his fingers. "You know you're right Anderson, that's a wonderful idea."
Jason knodded to him in agreement and said, "I'll go find the one responsible for this...malicious act." He stood up from his chair saluting the man, then began walking towards the door to exit, but he was stopped by a yell.
"Sit down Anderson!"
Jason turned around at the sound of his commanding voice and smiled, he took his place back in the chair.
"Now see here boy, I know it was you that set this up"
Jason looked at him with disbelief as if challenging his assumption. "How you know I did it? It could've been anybody."
"You are notorious for pullinig these stupid pranks on people." he explained.
"Ha, well um... ya know I am a bit of a genius." He leaned back in his chair with a smile.
"Enough Anderson. As for your punishment, a months worth of detention. Now how does that sound?"
Jason stared at him, mouth ajar. "Oh come on Dean! Dude that's so bogus!" he exclaimed.
"That's Mr. Bonaduche to you boy." He smiled at jason and waved. "Have a nice day Mr. Anderson."
The last bell of the day rang throughout the school, dismissing the students. As Jason headed towards the exit he picked up his backpack and paused for a moment then turned to face the man. he rasied his finger and opened his mouth to speak. Mr. Bonaduch pointed towards the the door signaling him to leave. A glob of relish fell from his sleeve and landed on the the desk. Jason snickered as he left the office and head down the hallway. A little ways down, he finally reached his locker. He put in the combination and popped open the door. He placed his his backpack inside the locker then closed it with a slam, sighing. To his left stood another boy about his age wearing a white skully hat, leaning against a locker.
"Whatup kid, why you looking so down?" he asked.
Jason looked at him and smiled slightly, happy to see him but disappointed about the detention sentence. "Yo Derrick. Man Dean gave me a freaking month of detention."
Derrick leaned forward from the locker in laughter. He sighed throwing his arm around Jason's shoulders as they strolled down the hall. "Haha, that's gotta suck. What the heck did you... Don't tell me, you pulled another prank on the old geezer."
Jason glanced at him for a moment before speaking. "I dumped condements all over him. He looked like freaking ridiculous sitting there."
Derrick gave a smirk and slight laugh at his comment. The two boys made their way through the crowd of anxious students and headed out the frontdoor and down the stairs. They walked for about four blocks from the school joking and laughing on the way. Out of nowhere, the sky changed into a dark one with eerie clouds flooding in, loud booms of thunder shook the air. The boys gazed up to the sky with confused and curious expressions.
"Yo man, did the news say anything about there being a storm today?" asked Derrick.
"Dude you know I don't watch the news."
As the spoke trying to figure things out, the clouds parted ways forming a small hole. A bright ball of light shot from the hole at a rapid pace and headed right for them. "HOLY CRAP!!" they both yelled. Jason and Derrick ran as fast as they could to avoid the falling object, at the last moment they dived separate ways as the object crashed into a dumpster. On impact the dumpster tipped over spilling garbage everywhere. They stood up from the ground and dusted themselves off.
"Man what the heck was that?!" asked Jason.
"Hell if I know, maybe a meteor." responded Derrick. "Lets check it out."
The boys trotted over to the hectic site at a moderate pace, still shaken up a bit. As they got closer to the overturned dumpster, motion could be seen under the chaos. They froze in place at this motion.
"Uh..dude, I don't think meteors are suppose to move." said Jason. They carefully moved towards the dumpster, caution in every step. Now at a reasonable distance, Derrick glanced down and saw the tips of fingers sticking out. He jumped back grabbing Jason by the shirt.
"What the, dude that's a hand!"
"Dude, I REALLY don't think meteors have hands!"
They glared at each other for a moment in sheer shock. They were confused, stunned, and lost all in one. The hand began to move slowly, Derrick took off his beanie hat and rubbed his head before placing it back on. "Dude, who the hell falls out of the sky and lives?" Jason shook his head completely clueless at the situation. Derrick swallowed his saliva hard, trying to muster up a little courage to do something. He crouched down next to the hand and slowly removed the trash covering the rest of the body. He pulled off a brown paper bag revealing the man's face. This man's eyes shot open and glared at Derrick with a mixture of anger and fear. This man was none other than the mighty warrior, Kito. He sat up quickly headbutting Derrick in the face. His right hand began glowing with a yellow light, he thrust forward releasing a small energy ball at Jason. Derrick fell back from the hit as Jason tossed to the ground from the shot. Kito hastly stood up as he grabbed his sword from the trash on the ground. Derrick cringed a bit as the tip of the blade met with his throat.
"Yo! Chill out dude, put that mthing away man!" shouted Derrick with a small hint of fear in his voice.
Jason stood up from being blasted to the ground, he rubbed his chest trying to soothe the pain. He clenched his fist and began to walks towards Kito.
"Stay back or this one dies!" he demanded.
Jason glanced down to his companion to see how he was doing. Derrick nodded for him to back off.
"Where is Cronos?!" he demanded an answer.
"Cronos, man what the heck you talking bout? Never heard of the guy!"
Kito looked around his surroundings, everything was completely different he was no longer on a broken battlefield. "This must be some sort of an illusion, a spell. Tell me where Cronos is or I will put an end to your pathetic life." Kito was too enraged at the fact that he was no longer battling his enemy to realize that he was no longer in Agrathorn. Jason glanced down to his companion and shook his head in regret for what Kito just said. He took a few steps back and leaned against a street sign with his arms folded.
"You know I really can't stand when people threaten me. Especially when they don't know nothing about me." said Derrick.
His left hand began to vibrate smoothly as a fog of smoke emitted from it. Seconds later his hand erupted into green flames. Kito snapped his head towards the sight of the flames and gritted his teeth in anger. He pulled up on his sword and raised it above him, just as he stabbed down Derrick thrust his arm forward sending a fire ball at his chest. He flew backwards as the attack hit him square in the heart region and collided with a wall. Kito was knocked unconcious on impact. Jason casually walked over to the unconscious Kito and stared.
"Dude, you didn't have to kill the guy."
"That was a very weak shot." Derrick handspringed to his feet and dusted himself off. "He was already in bad shape." He walked over an stood next to Jason.
"So um, what should we do with him, D?"
"Leave em." Derrick began to walk off uncaring of the situation.
"Hold on man we can't just leave em here like this."
"Why the hell not?"
Jason kneeled down next to Kito. "But he's so cute. Can't we keep him?" He acted as if Kito was some kind of abandoned animal.
Derrick turned to face him with a somewhat disturbed face. "Dude, something is seriously wrong with you up stairs. He ain't a stray dog...I wonder if he's even human."
"Then lets take him back to our place and interrogate him, see who, what, when, where, and how?"
Derrick sighed heavily as he finally caved in to Jason's pestering. "Alright, but if he tries anything again he's going to be blacker than me if ya know what I mean."
"Tss, I gotcha." Jason picked him up and tossed him over hos shoulder. "Come on Mr, you're gonna love it at our place."
With that said, Derrick simply shook his head. "Seriously dude, get help."
"Yo J, wake him up."
"Hey, WAKE UP!" he yelled.
"Oh wow like that's really gonna work." Derrick rolled his eyes and shook his head.
"Well it works when mom does it."
"Oh really? Then why do you always wake like ten minutes later?"
"Shuuutup, a growing boy needs his rest."
"Then stop trying to stay up late moron."
While the boys were arguing amongst themselves Kito slowly came to. he tried to move his arms and legs but couldn't. "W-where am I?" he asked.
Jason and Derrick turned towards him, now fully conscious. "See I told you it would work."
He looked over to them, shock sprang upon his face. He thrashed around in an attempt to get free, but didn't have the energy due to his current condition. "You release me now or I shall rain down misery upon you!" he threatened
By this point, Derrick was really beginning to get agitated and fed up with his attitude, so he decided to take action. He leaped up onto the lunch table and stood over him in a menacing manner. His hands ignited once more with the eerie green flames. "Look here, there's a few things that we need to get straight. First off I have no freaking idea who this Cronos guy is. Second, I ain't ya enemy but I can be if you want me to. And last, don't EVER threaten me again or I will roast you on the spot. Is that understood?"
Kito stopped his trashing and calmed himself. He could see that there was truth in his words. "Alright, I understand."
"Good then." His hands returned to normal. "Now just chill out and relax man. Ain't nobody go hurt ya." Derrick flipped off the table and landed next to Jason.
"Now that that's out the way I wanna know where you came from. I mean you freaking fell from the sky!"
"Yea who lives from something like that?" added Jason.
"Well I would be happy to tell you what you want to know. But could you unchain me? It would make me more comfortable."
At first Derrick was a little hesitant to remove the chains, but he felt that if the man tried anything he would be prepared to take him out. He walked over to the table and placed a hand on each chain. The flames from them burnt right through the chains. Kito held his ribs in pain as he sat up. He looked around the room and at the boys taking note of the differences between here and where he once was.
"My name is Kito, I hail from the land of Agrathorn. Before I came here I was in the midst of a fierce battle with the dark lord Cronos. We both conjured up powerful spells and released them simultaneously. The collision resulted in a large explosion of raw power that engulfed us both. The next thing I know, I'm falling from the sky and you two show up.
For a moment they both just stared at him with blank expressions not knowing how to react or what to say. Derrick tilted his head up a bit. "If you say so man."
Everything went silent for a moment, nobody knowing what to say until Kito finally asked, "Who are you? And where am I?"
Derrick smirked a little. "The name's Derrick and this is my brother Jason."
"Yo." said Jason while saluting. He walked off to a lone locker and opened it retrieving a skateboard.
"And this is the city of Riverdale on the land of, Earth."
Kito nodded as he took in the new information. But something still seemed to plague his mind.
"What spell did you use to conjure those green flames?"
"Spell? No spell here man." Derrick chuckled a little. "I don't even believe in that crap. These flames are all me, natural." He smiled arrogantly as he glanced at his hands.
"Natural?" asked Kito.
"Yea natural. Ya see we're what you call, mutants. Humans with special powers."
Kito nodded. "You have the gift of fire. What of him?" he asked while gesturing towards Jason, who was currently skating around.
"Same as mine. Only difference is the color, blue."
As he skated by, Jason ignited one of his hands demonstrating for them. Derrick glance over and smiled. "Mine still looks cooler."
Kito was not fully focusing in on their conversation, his mind lingered elsewhere on the whereabouts of his foe. At that realization, he jumped to his feet and reached behind him grabbing for his sword. It wasn't there. His face showed an expression of both fear and worry. "Where is my sword?"
Jason came to a screeching halt, he then slapped his forehead as he remembered. "Dude I knew we were forgetting something."
"If that sword falls into the wrong hands, it would spell disaster for us all."
"Why's that hunk of metal so important?" Derrick asked.
"That sword is known as the Blade of Ages. It is the most important and powerful weapon in all of Agrathorn. If Cronos ever gains control of that sword, he will have infinite power."
Jason and Derrick turned to each other. "We only saw one light fall from the sky. Maybe Cronos didn't come here with you." said Derrick.
"You may be right. But still, we have to retrieve that sword at all cost. It was a gift from my father."
"Well if that's the case, then let's go find the blade of....whatever." said Jason.
"Ages doofus, Blade of Ages."
Jason shrugged his shoulders. "Whatever." The three of them headed towards the exit and began their path back to the dumpster at a fast and steady pace.
"Drop your weapon and stand with your hands up!"
The thief rolled around in pain, he looked around for his gun to retaliate but was in too much pain to find it. Instead what he found was an illuminating light, slightly under the trash. He reached out for it and grabbed the end of it. This light was being emitted from the one and only, Blade of Ages. Upon contact with the hilt, a surge of black energy went through the man's body, he twitched around as if getting electricuted. Seconds later his eys shot open, glowing blood red. A sadistic smile formed on his face as the bullet wound in his leg healed.
The police glared at him confused at the moment. "I said drop your weapon and put your hands up!" The cop looked a little closer and saw the sword in his hand. He and the others didn't know what to think. The civilians watched the actions play out curious as to what would happen next.
The man rose to his feet, blade in hand and turned to face the cops. "Make me." His voice had become inhuman, almost....demonic. He cocked his arm back then swiftly swung the sword down sending out an arc of red energy. The arc went straight through one of the cops, he froze still. Moments later a stream of blood shot in the shape of the arc as his body fell in two. The other cops instantly became filled with fear.
"OPEN FIRE!!"
They all began shooting their guns wildy hoping to hit their target while the pedestrians ran around with fear. The man laughed insanely as the bullets bounced off a barrier protecting him. He charged forward going for the cop nearest him as he frantically tried to radio for backup, but it was too late. The blade was thrust through his gut and out his back. The changed man yanked out the blade then shot out a beam of energy that went straight through the car causing an explosion that killed two officers.
About two blocks away were Kito and the others. Just beyond the horizon a large explosion rang through the air followed by a smoke cloud.
"You think that's your man Cronos down there?" asked Jason.
"I pray it isn't."
The last remaining officer stood shaking in fear. He had just watched his comrades be murdered by this, this madman and now he was next. He raised his gun and began firing blindly until the last bullet was shot. He looked at his gun as it clicked signalling a need for a new cartridge. The man gazed at him with evil intent in his eyes. He snatched the policeman up in the air with one hand and laughed in his face. Things were not looking so good for this poor man just trying to do his job. As he stared into the eyes of the madman, he felt his life slowly fading away as he was choked. Just as the policeman was about to be finished off, his saviors arrived on the scene.
"Yo put the pig down!"
A smile came across the man's face as he slowly turned to face the newcomers. His grip on the officer's neck becoming tighter by the second.
"I said put the pig down!" yelled Derrick.
"If you say so." With that said, a horrid, spine-tingling crunch rang through the air, the officer's body went completey limp. Turning around hastely, he launched the dead right towards them at great speed.
"Shit, move!" Derrick exclaimed. He ran infront of Jason and thrust his arms releasing a wall of fire. The body crashed right into, but still managed to push them back a small portion.
Jason looked towards the villian, then his comrades. "Hey! That was aimed for me! Yo guys let me take him by myself."
"Go right ahead bro, I ain't in the mood to fight anyway." Derrick walked to the side of the street and took a seat on the sidewalk.
Kito thought to himself for a moment. With the condition he was in at the moment, he would be completely useless in a fight. "Fine."
The natural grey color of Jason's eyes had now becoming blue with flames, his hands also igniting with the gas like blue flames. He turned his head towards his brother and said, "Watch me take this guy out with ease dude." He turned his attention back towards the man, but a large arc of energy sped at him. "AAAHHH!!" Screaming like a little girl, he quickly dived to his left dodging the surprise attack.
Derrick fell on his back with laughter at his girly whine.
"Whoa hey! I wasn't ready man that's not fair!"
The man simply smirked at his comment.
"I'll show you." Jason pulled his arms out to his sides then swung them clapping his hands together, shooting a stream of fire. His opponent placed the sword infront of himself vertically preparing for the impact. The fire collided with the blade causing debris to kick up, but did no damage to its target. The man gritted his teeth trying to counter the attack, he yanked the sword upwards guiding the flames in another direction.
"Seems I underestimated you boy. But still, you're going to die."
Jason charged forward launching small fireballs, as he got closer he leaped into the air extending his right leg. The man placed the sword infront of him and and blocked the kick. He managed to stop another expeditious kick that was aimed for his neck.
"You annoying little bug!" he yelled as Jason continued his barrage of rapid and powerful kicks. Each one came closer and closer to nailing him in the face. Realizing this he let out a powerful battle roar while swinging down vertically almost cleaving Jason in half right down the middle. Somehow, Jason managed to sidestep at the last second escaping the fatal blow. Suddenly, a large barrier erupted from the sword tossing Jason down the street and sliding next to Derrick.
"Wow, quit playing and get it over with bro."
Jason springed to his feet with a little frustration in his face, he was starting to get tired of this sword wielding thug. Kito could no longer just sit idly by while someone was using his sword for destructive means. As Jason began launching fireballs at him, Kito slowly made his way behind the man. Seeing the right opportunity to strike, he jumped forward with a knee aimed for his spine. The man simply released another barrier knocking him away as well as the fireballs. He tossed his head back in laughter. It was obvious how he felt about the two of them by his actions.
"Laugh at this bastard."
A small orb of fire hurled towards him, He put up his guard expecting soomething to happen, but nothing. He gazed at the orb with a confused look. The flames swirled around shifting into a jolly little smiley face, then a sad frown. Seconds later, the orb exploded sending him flying through the air and colliding with a wall. On impact he dropped the Blade of Ages to the ground next to him. His eyes returned to their original color and his voice was no longer demonic. Both Kito and Jason turned facing Derrick who had a smirk on his face.
"Was that so hard to do?" he asked.
"Not really. I didn't wanna hurt the guy too much." Jason responded.
"You're an idiot."
Kito once again had the Blade of Ages in his grasp, his energy was slowly being restored with every minute he held its hilt.
"Now, I shall banish you to the depths of hell for your crimes."
"Oh crap, he's gonna kill him."
Kito raised the blade as he prepared to finish the criminal with one fierce strike, his grasp tightly on the hilt. "Ahhh!" putting all of his strength into it, he swung down aiming right for the poor guy's skull. He balled up in fear for his life. A stream of blue fire shot out and latched onto the blade just as hit nearly made contact with the man's head. Kito looked behind him to his left and there stood Jason with a hand extended.
"Whoa whoa whoa! Dude what the hell are you doing?!" he asked.
"He is a criminal that has committed heinous crime. He deserves his fate."
"DUDE, you ain't in yo world anymore. Things work a little differently round these here parts." For once, Jason was actually letting his serious side show, sorta.
As the two of them were discussing their little dilemma, the criminal began to crawl away from them unnoticed. Or so he thought. He took to his feet and sped off heading down the street, but before he could get even ten feet away a fireball knocked him to the ground.
"And we're do you think you running off to?" Derrick shook his head in disapproval.
The man gritted his teeth in anger, pulled back his arm and threw a punch towards his face going for an instant KO. Derrick sighed at this guy's pathetic attempt at a punch. His fist came an inch away from Derrick's face but was dodged. He made a few more lame attempts at a punch while the young man laughed as he dodged them all. And then it happened, the guy left an opening in his defense. Derrick stomped forward with his left and delivered a gut-wrenching knee with the left to his stomach. In response the man buckled over and held his gut in pain, the wind was knocked right from his lungs along with a little saliva. A pair of flaming feet crashed into his chin from a back handspring. The hit tossed him backwards into the air, unconscious on the ground he lay, scorch marks on under his chin. Jason and Kito made their way over to them, Kito sheathing his sword.
"So what should we do with this bozo?" Jason asked.
"Trying to decide if we should do the right thing and turn him in, or just bash his skull with a lil street justice. Which sounds better?"
"Uhhh, is this a test? I suck at test."
"I have a solution." Kito interupted. He unsheathed his sword and extended it towards the man's body.
"No we ain't killing him!" said Derrick.
"I am not going to kill him." The point of the blade shined with a bright blue light that illuminated the area, the light engulfed the criminal's body. His arms folded behind his body and his legs straightened stiff. Once done he sheathed his sword slowly, he placed a hand on his ribs. The sword had healed most of his wounds but his ribs were still slightly broken.
"What did you do?" asked Jason. He rubbed what little hair he had on his chin.
"I placed a restraining spell on him. When he finally comes to, he will not be able to move." Kito explained.
"Tss nice. Everything will go from there." Derrick gazed around the area surveying the damage done earlier, some civillians were still on the scene hiding behind objects. "Guys I think it's time for us to go. Those people over there saw everything and now know we're mutants."
Jason looked to where he pointed and saw a woman and her kids, the look on her face ws both fear and disgust. People in this city could sometimes be a little harsh on mutantkind, even when mutants use their powers to protect the humans. Dumbasses.
"Guess you're right."
"I assume mutants are not accepted." observed Kito.
"You would be correct my friend now come on, our mom is probably wondering where we are." said Derrick.
"Should we leave a note or something?" asked Jason with a big smile.
Derrick paused for a moment as he thought about what his brother said. He actually had a point. Turning to face the wall above the unconscious man, Derrick extended his right hand. He released a small, beam of concentrated fire onto the wall burning it away in a pattern. Once done he stepped back and gazed at what he created. I did it was now burned into the wall with an arrow pointing down on him.
"Creative." Kito commented.
With the task of retrieving the Blade of Ages now completed, the three of them were on their way to the boy's home, where their mother awaited.
Earth, Riverdale High
The day was warm and bright, the sun shined down on a wonderful school called Riverdale High. Inside this school sat a balding man with a very destinguished, white mustache at his desk in a little office. His body was covered in mustard, ketchup, and relish. He anxiously tapped his pen on the desk as he stared at a young man with anger on his face. The young man placed a hand over his mouth, he was trying his best to hold in a laugh."Jason Theodore Anderson, do you think this is funny?!
SKATE HAVEN
A few minutes after the little incident occured, the boys reached their destination. An old abandoned, beatdown warehouse that was once used for storing food. But now it was something brilliant. The inside of the warehouse had been turned into a little skatepark with rails, ledges, hubbas, and more filling it. It was like a skater's dream. Once inside, Jason layed Kito on an empty lunch table. Derrick picked up two chains with locks on the ends and began strapping him down to the table."Yo J, wake him up."
MEANWHILE.....
Back on the populated streets of Riverdale everything was running smoothly, until. A man, around his early thirties wearing black clothing, fumbled through the streets trying to escape something. In one hand he held a small bag and in the other...a handgun. Civilians rushed to get out of his way as ran frantically. He turned around for a second and squeezed off a few shots from his gun. Three policemen on foot were chasing him down like a dog. The bullets flew pass them missing their target. He tried picking up the pace but failed when one of the cops fired shot and hit him in his right leg. The man let a cry of agony before falling into a pile of trash. The cops stopped before they got to close, they took position ready to fire again. Just then a police car arrived with two more officers. The driver spoke through the intercom."Drop your weapon and stand with your hands up!"
