Chapter 8: Getting Ready


Josh and Chad (the new boyfriend) agreed to go clubbing.

"Let's meet at my car in twenty minutes," said Liz.

"Alright, twenty minutes," Josh agreed.

They went to Josh's house to find something to wear. We stayed at Liz's and did the same.

She and I are pretty much the same size. I'd say she's a prettier than I am, though -- not that I'm jealous or anything, but she seems to have a natural beauty. She has stunning green eyes and straight brown hair that's usually up in chopsticks. But I still look better in a mini skirt.

She opened her huge closet which had just about everything I've ever imagined. It was like a small clothing store in the mall. Or like Mia's closet on Princess Diaries II.

"Look around. You can wear anything you like," she told me.

So I went on a little shopping spree. I found a really cute black sparkly dress with a little red fishnet overcoat. I also found some adorable black heels with little flowers on them.

Then I went to her mini hair salon in the back of her closet, and I put my hair into a curly bun. I added some makeup, and I was ready to go.

Soon after, Liz walked up -- looking gorgeous, I might add. She wore a really sexy orange tank top with little slits by the chest, a cute pair of jeans, and my orange flip flops. Then she put her hair up and added the final touch: makeup.

We were off.

We picked the guys up in her orange convertible. My eyes kept slipping back to Josh. He was way too cute.

We went clubbing.
