To Blair the last two weeks of the term went by in a flash. After her lesson with Coach she had become the best fighter in the class and became more dedicated to the class. Not only were her forms the best in the class but she could beat anyone that faught against her, the only one she couldnt beat was the teacher. She made it her quest to be the best so she started to jog everymorning. The last two weeks of the term had a pattern that they followed. Then the first day of the break came and the pattern was broken. Instead of going to classes after jogging and showering she had free time. sometimes she went to the gym to work with the weights but other times she just relaxed in the liberary.

That was her new pattern for the break, that is until that day. A week into the break Blair went out for her normal early morning jog. The sun was not up yet as usual as Blair started out across the snow covered grounds. As she jogged Blair heard a faint sound. like someone calling. only she didnt hear it by here ears, but in her mind.

"so cold."

Blair glanced around a moment then turned off the path and started to jog in a differnet direction. She didnt know were it was comeing from but she felt pulled in that direction. faitnly the words ecoed in her mind until Blair almost tripped and a snow covered bump. She skidded to a stop and looked at the lump. It was out of place. She bent down and brushed snow from it and saw a small back pack.

"will i die here?"

The words filled her mind again. blair looked around franticly. Whoever that voice belonged too, was growing weaker by the second. As she looked around Blair spotted a larger bump in the otherwise flat snow. she rushed forward, the backpack still in her hand. She brushed away the snow, there under the snow she found a tattered jacket, covering a slim sholder. Blair franticly dug through the snow to uncover the figure. There, buried in the snow was the frail from of a young girl. Her lips were blue, and she was still. So still Blair thought she was dead. She quickly checked for a pulse and found a weak one,

"w-who. . . ?"

The voice echoed through her mind Blair scouped the girl up out of the snow. her cloths were frozen. Blair got the frozen tattered jacket off her to reveil a thin shirt. Blair rested the frail form against her lap a moment to shrug herself from her much thicker jacket. Blair wrapped the girl in the warm, dry jacket and scooped up the body and backpack,

". . . warm. . . "

The voice echoed again as Blair full out sprinted back to the dorm, She burst into the lobby, thankfully Jessica was up by now and in the office. Blair yelled,

"Jessica! Get Doctor Kaye!"

Befor Jessica could ask any questions Blair was running up the stiars to her room past other early riseres. Blair was in her room she closed the door again and lay the other girl on her bed a moment and turned on the space heater full blast. Blair pulled the girl out of her wet cloths, Blair rather save the girl, than her modisty. Once the girl is out of her cold wet cloths she pulls a night gown over her limp form. Blair knew that if the girls cold blood from her limps got to her heart it would kill her. Franticly the tall red head got her wet top off and pulled the girl to her as she sat infrount of the heater with a blanket wrapped around them both. She rubbed the girls arms and legs trying to warm them befor it was too late.

A knock at the door befor it opens to let Jessica and the Doctor into the room. They close the door as they enter and see blair hunched over infrount of the space heater, they dont see the head of black hair that rests against blairs sholder. Instead Doc drops to Blairs side and askes,

"Blair were are you hurt? what happened?"

Blair turned to look at them and moved a little to reveil the girl she held.

"I found her while jogging. she was burring in the snow."

"So warm. . . Did i die?"

Blair looked down at the form in her arms and saw dark blue eyes blinking open. when the girls eyes focaused on Blair she stiffened and started to tremble

"Where am I ?!"

Blair looked down at the girl she held and said softly,

"Take it easy. No one here wants to hurt you."

the wide paniced eyes darted around the room then rested on Blairs face again,

"who are you?"

"My name is Blair, do you know were you are?"

The girl looked around a moment then pointed to her bag. Jessica picked it up from were blair had dropped it and looked inside. There, inside the bag, along with two shirts, was an envolope the return address was the schools. Jessica blinked a moment then looked from the letter to the new girl, the address was

Jessica looked at it a moment then asked,

"Lilly? You are a new student then? I didnt get any notices about it."

Lilly looks at Jessica and trys to inch away, only to bery herself against Blairs' side. Blair glanced down at Lilly then turned to Jessica,

"Maybe it came in this morning?"

Jessica shrugged then said,

"I guess it could have, i didnt get to go through all the notices yet. Maybe she was ment to go over to Rose Dorm. I'm going to go talk to Willow and Tara"

Jessica stood up as Doctor Kaye corrected her,

"Headmistresses."

"Right, them"

Doctor Kaye then moved to kneel beside Blair and Lilly, she asked Lilly in a soft tone,

"Lilly? Can you tell me how you feel?"

"cold"

The doctor looked at Lilly searchingly then looked at Blair and asked,

'Has she not said a word"

Blair looked at the doctor and asked,

"You mean you cant hear it?"

Kaye looked at the tall red haired student and Blair took that as a no so she answered for Lilly

"She said she is still cold."

Blair wraps the blanket around herself and Lilly a little more. Kaye asked,

"Lilly can you move your fingers and toes?"

Lilly was quiet a moment and Blair was able to feel her fingers move a little grom were they touched her own arms. after a moment there was also movement near Blairs calves which she assumed were Lillys toes or feet moving. Lilly looked at Kaye and nodded her head. This seemed to please the young doctor, as she smiled a little. She looked at Blair and said,

"How did you know what to do to keep her from dieing?"

Blair shrugged a little,

"I dont know i just acted."

Lilly looked from the Doctor to her savior and back as they spoke. During a momentary silence Jessica returned with both the headmistresses. As they entered Willow asked,

"What is going on here? Jessica comes running to our cabin saying someone is in trouble and we come to find everyone cozy infrount of a heater?"

Kaye stood and started to explain,

"I sent Jessica to get you headmistress. Blair found this young woman in the snow and we were unsure what to do. Jessica said that she hadnt gotten any notices about this young woman."

Tara and Willow both looked in the direction the doctor had motioned to see Blair sitting on the floor still with Lilly wrapped in a blanket. Willow frowned slightly and said,

"Well we were not expecting her to show for a little while still. This is quiet unexpected."

" I knew i wouldnt be ecepted here either. . . "

Blair looked away from the headmistresses to look at Lilly, she had just barely caught what the other young womans thoughts,

"What makes you say that?"

Headmistress Willow looked at Blair and asked,

"Did you say something Blair?"

Blair nodded and said,

"Lilly feels unwelcomed here, I asked why she feels that way."

Lilly looked at Blair wide eyed then at the head mistress then she looked at the heater. Willow opened her mouth about to say something when Blair cut her off,

"I want her to room with me. She got the letter so she is supposed to be here so let her room with me."

Jessica spoke up then and said,

"But you wanted a room to yourself. Why do suddenly want a roomy?"

Blair glared at the Dorm head as if to say "your not helping"

Lilly had grown still and quiet. Willow and Tara nodded as one and said,

"We were planning on her going to Thorns Dorm anyway so it is agreed. Miss Lilly West will be staying here with you Miss Rain."

Everyone was queit a moment befor one by one they stood and filed out of the room. Doctor Kaye and the Headmistresses left talking about tea. Jessica however hung back. when it was just the three of them left in the room she said,

"I will get the second key and the paper work started. Blair will you take your friend to see the Doc later for her check up?"

Blair nodded,

"Yeah sure i can do that."

With that Jessica left the room. Blair sat on the floor and continued holding Lilly against her. Slowly Blair was able to tell the difference in the other girls body temperature, she was warming up and a steady and safe pace. Lilly was no longer trembleing and had some color in her cheeks. she also slowly became aware of her closeness to Blair and the fact they were flesh on flesh. As if Blair had shocked her Lilly shot to her feet and spun to look at Blair who was still sitting on the floor in her pants and Bra. Lilly then looked at herself in nothing but underwear and bra. She blushed and looked around franticly. by this time Blair was on her feet and she put the blanket around Lillys sholders and said.

"Calm down alright? I dont want you to die of a heart attack or something. I will not hurt you. Your cloths were soaked and frozen, i had to get you out of them. do you understand?"

Lilly nodded slowly, Clutching the blanket to her,

"why are you helping me? You dont know me."

Blair turned away from Lilly and started going through her own trunk pulling out cloths. As she went throught the sweat cloths she answered,

"That does not matter to me. You dont know me either so we are trusting eachother. Mind you, trust is not easy for me, as im sure it may not be easy for you either."

Lilly shook her head, trust was not easy for her either. Blair smiled as she found everything shew as looking for and handed a set of sweats to Lilly.

"Put those on they will keep you warm until we can go get you some real cloths, I wont look."

blair turned around and pulled on her own sweat shirt and pulled off her wet pants and pulled on the sweats. She stay faceing away from Lilly and waited. After a while the russle of cloth stopped and she asked,

"Can i turn around now?"

When she didnt get an answer from her the other woman Blair moved to the closet and started looked for a pair of boots. She had gotten a pair of boots when the snow first fell but she found they were hard to jog in so she didnt wear them. She found them then got a pair of heavy wool socks from the trunk and passed them to Lilly who stood in the over sized sweats her hands clasped under her chin. Blair couldnt help but smile.

"Put these on, they will keep your feet warm. Are you feeling up to going around the campus?"

Lilly was quiet so Blair asked,

"Would you rather just stay here and relax for a while?"

Lilly nodded a little but then simply stood there. Blair tried to help her new roomy get comfortable, and said,

"That will be your bed and trunk and desk and chair and your closet is there."

She pointed out each item then went to the closet and pulled out the set of bedding that was supplied for new students. she made the bed then said,

"Later we can go and get you bedding stuff that you like better. These are plain, i like mine better. Why dont you go through my CD's and find something you want to listen to."

Lilly moved to the stack of CD's and looked at them. After a moment she pulled one from the middle of the stack, only to jump back when the entire stack fell to the floor clattering. she was instently crouching in the corner almost under her desk. Her eyes were squezzed shut as she rocked back and forth. Blair looked up when the stack fell and picked up the one that was nearest Lilly and stuck it into the player. Then she went and knelt infrount of Lilly and lay a hand on her sholder. Lilly flinched as if Blair had struck here.

"Lilly? Are you okay?"

Lilly went stiff and didnt move so Blair moved to rub her back,

"Its okay, I said i wasnt going to hurt you and i ment it. Take it easy okay?"

Lilly relaxed a little and looked up at Blair with eyes that showed pain and terror. Blair knew those eyes, they were the same as her own. Blair frowned and pulled Lilly into a hug, this caused the girl to flinch again but Blair didnt let go. She said,

"I will not hurt you and i wont let anyone else hurt you either. I promise."

Lilly started sobbing and clung to Blairs sweat shirt. Blair continued to hold Lilly and rock her in a comforting manner.

So um what you folks think of Lilly West? Is she to much of a weakling? please Revies so i know what to do with this story.
