Nathanial stared out his car window at the cars whizzing by. The silence in the car was driving him crazy, but he wasn't going to be the one to break it. There was nothing all that striking about him, nothing that really “stuck out”, nothing that would set him above anyone else… He wasn't too tall, about 5'9” tall, medium build. Raven black hair grown out just long enough to cover the tips of his ears and to tickle the back of his neck, alabaster skin, tough but not rough or worn-looking, and a lip ring, like just like Kyle. But if you really took a minute to look at this boy, you would notice one very special feature: his eyes. Pale, almost milky grey eyes that hold a sadness to them that are repressed behind a cold stare and eyeliner. Look long enough into them and you'll become mesmerized. But very few get the chance with the way he darts his gaze and avoids eye contact. He's made it into an art form.

"Nathanial..." His mother started from the front seat. He turned and looked through the front windshield at the building they were driving towards. As they pulled up to the front of the building Nathanial noticed an ambulance and a few paramedics wheeling someone in. "Son? Get your stuff..." His father ordered as the three of them got out of the car.

'What the hell is this place?' He thought as he followed his parents into the building. The lobby was busy, there was a boy in a wheelchair at the front desk and there were people rushing around here and there. Nathanial's eyes landed on a screaming boy and a man who looked like he was trying to calm the boy down.

"You brought me to a fucking loony bin?!" He said as he turned back to his parents. "Now Nathanial...honey it's for your own good." His mother squeaked out quietly. "My own good? No...
Me dying would've been for my own good." His mother winced at his statement. His father turned around to the counter after the boy before them was wheeled away. "Hi... We'd like to admit our son…"

"Ok sir. What is your son's name?" The young lady at the desk said. "His name's Nathanial...Nathanial Roberts." Said his father. “We called about reserving him a bed here about a week ago.” His mother added. "I don't fucking need to be here. I'm NOT crazy. They tricked me into coming here…" Nathanial muttered as he glared at the lady. She smiled at him and refocused her attention to his parents.

"Well ma'am your son is officially admitted." She said as an unidentified voice rang through the hallway. "Get me the fuck outta here!" Nathanial sighed and looked at his father. "I want to go home." His father looked down at him sternly. "We can't let you do that... You're a danger to yourself and a bad influence to your sister." Nathanial glared at his father. "…Is that all you care about?" His father sighed. "I'm not going through this right now, Nathanial.
You're sick and you need help. Be damn glad you're getting the help and leave it at that. Don't be ungrateful."

"Hi. I'm John and I'll be dealing with you getting settled,"
Came a husky voice. Nathanial turned his gaze from his father to a giant in scrubs. He had to be at least 6”4' and well over 250 pounds; muscle, not fat. Nathanial thought he looked more like a bouncer than a nurse. He smiled at the family and motioned for them to leave. "B-bye honey..." His mother said as he started walking. "What. Ever." Nathanial muttered as he followed the nurse down the hallway.

"So... what do we do now? Do you take me to some padded room and stick me in a straight jacket?" The nurse chuckled and shook his head. "No... We just strip you, check you and make sure you don't do what you were put in here for
… And then there's the paperwork. There's always tons of forms for you to fill out." He turned and winked at the teen. “So you won't get too bored.”

"Oh...JOY." Nathanial muttered as he played with this lip ring.
