Loud Woman

I:

-Kohaku-

Nothing ever changes. I hate it here. School is lame. My mother sucks. My sister is so clueless. I don't want to talk about her boyfriend. It's all just… pointless. It's all pointless. No use in wishing for something exciting. It won't happen. Why would it anyway? Such a pain. All of it. Why do I bother?

II:

I was heading home from cram school the other night. I was happy to be out. Cram school wasn't my idea. My stupid sister came up with this. I had just taken one step onto the street when…

Vroom!

This black and red vespa came zipping out of nowhere. This thing looked like a missile on fire tearing down the road. I screamed and jumped out of the way just as the front wheel would've clipped my leg.

“What the hell?!” I screamed. Suddenly, the vespa stopped. I turned my head just as the rider did. I couldn't make out the face with the huge black goggles over their eyes. The long black hair to the high back looked beautiful. The rest of the clothes were black and brown. I put my hands on my hips.

“What the hell?!” I yelled again. “You almost hit me!”

“No I didn't,” the rider said. It's a woman.

“Yes, you did!” I shouted. “Are you crazy?!”

“I didn't,” she said. “You imagined it.”

“I did not!”

“Yes, you did.” Who was this bitch? Didn't she realize that she about killed me? Why was she lying so badly to my face?

Before I knew it, that crazy bitch was speeding.

“Oi! Come back here!” I yelled. “I'm not done talking to you!”

III:

I thought that was the end of that. I couldn't have been more wrong.

I hadn't even made it inside the house. Sitting in front of the house was that psycho bitch. She sat on her vespa, smiling at me. Her bangs covered her forehead.

“Yo,” she said, waving.

“What are you doing here?” I asked. This crazy woman tried not to laugh.

“I live here now,” she said.

“Uh… No, you don't,” I said.

“Why?” the crazy bitch asked.

“Because I live here,” I said.

“You do?”

“Yes! Now get out of here!”

“No.”

I gritted my teeth. “You!” I whipped out my phone and dialed 119.

“Hello, police?” I asked. “I have a crazy woman at my house. Please get her off my…”

Zap.

“Ow!” I shouted. My phone got hot and exploded in my hand. I looked up to see that woman smiling wildly.

Who the hell was she?

IV:

She haunts my dreams. Who was she? That smile. Those teeth. Were those… fangs?

Then there's her laugh. Oh damn her laugh. I grabbed my head and screamed.

But then it all turned black.

V:

The next morning, I awoke to hearing laughter downstairs. Confused, I sat up and got out of bed. When I made it to the living room, my jaw dropped. That crazy woman sat on the couch talking to my mom. Mom threw back her head, laughing. I pointed between them both.

“What's going on here?” I asked. Mom and that woman looked up at me.

“Oh, Kohaku-chan. Sweetie,” she said. “This is Clare. She's going to be living with us for a while.” My brain went into error mode as my jaw hit the floor.
