Original Stories Fan Fiction ❯ The Autobiography Of A Dreamer ❯ The Beginning ( Chapter 1 )

[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]

As the music started to play the women began to type up something that would amaze and shock the world. The Heart of a Demon. The clicking of the keys matched the beat of the song as the women sewed a tale of pain, deceit, hatred and a forbidden love. Minutes turned to hours as the tale began to unfold. 'He was a man of little words.. ok that was a lie he was sent to earth because of his human heart, he used to be able to speak with a rich, deep, velvet like voice until his parents found out about his heart, and the fact that he had fallen in love. So his parents took away his voice and locked it deep within the bowels of hell and sent him up to earth to show him why 'love' and 'humanity' was not needed in hell. As soon as he landed in a forest his form changed to that of a human and he could no longer morph into what he really was, a demon.' Though it wasn't amazing like the books you buy at a store it had the potential to be truly beautiful, and thats when her favorite part of writing stories really comes to life. The music had long since faded but the story was only just beginning. She clicked the 'play' button once more and listened as soft sad music filled the air. 'he didn't know what to do, he had never been asked to dance. He wasn't even really sure what 'dancing' was but he would give it a try.. after all SHE wanted him to. Carefully he placed his hand in her's and made a step forwards. Leaning towards her face he tried to speak and was unable to. He let go of her hand and then gestured to his feet and back towards her shaking his head and looking nervous. A giggle escaped her red glossy lips as she watched him blush. “It's easy, just let the music flow though you and gently follow my lead.” she gently took hold of his hand once more and then stepped backwards on the next beat and brought him along with her, slowly gracefully she helped him move across the forests floor. Backwards, forwards, gently side to side, spinning, leaping, falling..dancing to the sad sounds coming from the 'laptop'. Back and forth hair gently gliding in the steps as he got the hang of it, spinning, gliding into the darkness as night fell over the forest.' The women sat back down in her chair with an unreadable smile on her lips, yes this was going well.

To her writing a story was more than just an assignment, or even a hobby, though it was a hobby to her it was also a life style. After everything that had happened in her life it seemed like the way to be free from that witch people never seem to understand was to escape. Escape from it all in the only way a child knows how, though the art of imagination. The world in witch she lived was full of people that wanted to see her fail, watch her fall and laugh at her expense. It was time she stood up for herself and instead of causing a huge ruckus she did something far more devious. She created a world in witch she was supreme and those that mocked her were nothing but fleas on a dog. Yes life was truly beautiful this way. Thing were looking up for her until her world that was for home only found a way to mix itself with 'reality' so to speak. It started out with little things.. like when one of the girls that made fun of her gave a glare as she walked by to her desk in her head the world was completely different.. 'walking by the lackey of the gutter snapes a grin graced the heroine's face as she walked by the jealous stare of the wanna bee.' shaking her head she rid her mind of the image of the girl as an ugly snake like being with beady eyes and a huge stomach and legs that could be detached at will. Indeed the girl had quite the imagination. It seemed like things were back to normal for the rest of that month.. of course everyone knows that once you unleash your imagination on the world its hard to focus it to just one place or time.

It was about a week and a half into the new month when it happened again. This time it was at recess. The girl sat in a corner of the playground watching as others ran around, playing, jumping, screaming. Of course her observations were cut short when 3 girls approached her. 'they were truly ugly beings of a disgusting green slime color and the smell that seemed to follow them everywhere was as putrid as rotten eggs left out in the noon day sun. they approached with murderous intent in there beady yellowed out eyes. The leader of the 'gang' seemed to be the one that stank the most of molding cheese. Of course these fools were no trouble for our heroine, after all they were simply gutter snapes witch were lower than any being on earth.' a secretive smile graced the girls face. That was naturally a BAD idea as the three other girls proceeded to introduce her to a new brand of humiliation. 'Her leg was pulsing in pain from the tree branch that had swung into her but she had to ignore it she had no other options, he needed her, he was screaming for someone to save him from the torture.. So there she stood in the debt of night by the caves entrance, though she found it extremely dark out tonight it was nothing compared to what kind of darkness lay ahead of her hidden by a darkness so thick that you could practically taste the evil radiating off the place. He was here though, she knew he was and so she ventured forwards leaving a star scattered sky behind to face her doom...'

People always seem to tell you “oh things will be fine give it time” or “What goes around comes around” but don't you think that if that were true there would be fewer bullies when you get older because they would have gotten the same treatment they gave you? It makes no sense when someone says that to you because its not logical. If every person had to pay for what they had done then wouldn't the world not be anything like it is today? Wouldn't the world be full of the reverse kind of people they were when they were younger? Of course that would have been far to easy. They couldn't tell you the cold hearted truth because truth was simply a word that held no meaning in a world full of cruel, unlawful humans who knew not what such simple words strung together out of anger could do..But she did and so her imagination took control. It was a day like all the others.. nothing really different in that sense at all. Of course thats how all good stories start isn't it? Anyways she was sitting in math class one day and the teacher needed to leave for something four girls walked up and surrounded her desk. 'they really didn't know when enough was enough did they? Obviously they hadn't been taught how not to be stupid, after all she had bested the gutter snapes more than eight times it seemed like they just couldn't get enough of her perfection. HA it was more like her looks, after all they were hideous beasts of a slime like nature how could anyone want to be around THAT all the time. Today it seemed as though they smelt even worse than usual. Probably because they had been slumming in the sewers for the last few days recovering fro there last 'battle'. Naturally our heroine one hands down with beauty and grace.' A rather loud giggle left the girls lips uninvited. Everything in the classroom seemed to freeze as they all turned to watch her laugh as the four girls looked shocked. “and what, do you think is so funny?” the ring leader asked. “Nothing at all you whinnying, slime ball of a gutter snape why would ANYTHING be funny about YOU..” witch was followed by another set of giggles until of course the girl realized that she had said that first she had said it out loud and second it wasn't to the people in her head. 'Fear was something that she had been introduced to quite a bit in the last few months. It wasn't surprising that what her friends told her didn't seem to scare her anymore, after all she was secretly going off into the forest in the middle of the night to meet some creature from another world that couldn't speak and didn't seem to know a lot of words in her language. Some days were worse than others for communicating with him. Though she had to admit then the few times he seemed to forget he couldn't use his voice a small sound did seem to escape his lips but nothing she could decipher as an attempt at a word or sentence. How she longed to be able to communicate with the man in front of her, he had captivated her attention from the moment she met him and as she spent more and more time with him her interest in who is was seemed to grow ten fold. But it seemed fate had other plans for them both for soon the man would once more be judged only this time his life would be on the line...'
