*Chapter 1: Piercing*
By: LP and MSI (codenames biz-niche)
Up and down, you heard the ball going up and down. Off and on the marble like
wooden floor it jumped. Suddenly the ball was thrown into a hoop. As the ball fell back
down to the floor, you could hear the crowd cheering in the bleachers. The throw was the
lat point needed for the Helltona High Wolves to win the game. A boy around fifteen,
with brown shaggy hair that almost covered his blue eyes, and his right eye piercing,
leaned down and picked up the orange basket ball that he had previously thrown. All his
teammates surrounded him and picked him up, as they cheered. With his strong, muscular
arms, the boy plunged the ball in the air, as he screams of happiness. “Go Piercing! Go
Piercing!”
The cheering was stopped by a big smack. “Piercing Andrews, are you sleeping in
my class again?!”
An elderly woman screamed standing over Piercing's desk. He lifted his head and
stretched his arms. “Of course not Miss. Blackheart.” He smirked as he flipped his hair
out of his eyes. “It's Miss. Burnheart, and you know it young man!” she snapped at him.
He smiled; he knew this was his free pass out of class. “Oh, I'm terribly sorry Miss.
Burnheart, its just so easy to get confused, you know with you and you black old heart”
he laughed. “Mr. Andrews are you trying to be sent to detention?” she warned walking to
her desk.
Everyone in the room stopped what they were doing. “Mr. Andrews, you are
going to detention now!” Miss. Burnheart screamed as she pointed to the door with a
yellow slip. Piercing got up out of his desk, grabbed his binder and walked up to the
teacher. He snatched the yellow slip from her hand and walked out of the classroom.
