My name is York Neely, a trans universal hero if you will and teacher of armed combat here at the Gifted Moon Academy. Me and my fellow companion came here in hopes of unifying the gifted and the normal humans, however, we were more or less beat to the punch... A few weeks back, the schools lit. teacher killed herself casting a spell for world peace. In many ways it succeeded, people are happier and those who are gifted are now just an accepted part of our society, pretty great right? Well, that's what people keep saying, and I'm getting rather sick of it. Any happiness that comes with such a sacrifice isn't worth it! Why must her freinds bear the burden of her actions!? Tch! It doesn't matter, time stops for only a few, and rewinds for none. It seems like this place no longer has any need of us, right?

Yeah, we are merely creatures of the past in this reality, it is time we moved onto another... York may be hot headed, but his words are true, happiness cannot exist without pain, and now that pain is held by us, Rinsis freinds. Oh right, if you don't know already, I am Repede, an Overseer of realities who dawns the body of this black wolf in front of you. Regardless, I do not want our own emotions to bring you down, I guess the sentimental way of looking at it is that her soul lives on in each one of these annoying, obnoxious, hyper, little puffballs...

Ki'iro here. Well, it seems Rinsi's spell worked this time. Everyone seems happy, and all the problems the world had before are melting away. Except...there's no Rinsi. Everyone who knew her misses her a lot. Poor Tahtsu didn't take it so well. Neither did Nakya. She and I are back together, and have ironed out our problems, with the aid of our own summons. It seems that the spell she cast brought in these little fluffball summons, one for each person existing. The world is fixed, but at what cost?

I regret the things I said to Rinsi before she died. I wasn't thinking straight. That's all fixed now, except for the sadness we all feel for losing her, and the regret for our actions against each other. Wars are gone, hunger is being fixed as we speak...Everything is being fixed. Except us. Our summons seem to help a lot. They hold her in high reverence for bringing them into this world. It was their idea for the life-size bronze statue that now rests in the front garden of the school, with a plaque reading her name and what she had done for the world. Ki'iro is helping me, too, but I can't help but feel guilty for what I said to her. Knowing her, she's forgiven me, but I still can't help it. She was a good friend to all of us and we all miss her.

Well, because of Rinsi, Yumi no wants to kill me. Oh, I'm Icio. Frankly, I can't stand to see Nakya and Ki'iro together, but I can't do anything about it. She's happy with him, and rightfully so after how Yumi and I treated her. Though that's fixed now. We've quit smoking as well, and we're not really friends, but we're not trying to kill each other either. We have Rinsi to thank for that. We all miss her though. That kid, Vibol, found her. He wouldn't say what he was doing on the roof of the school, just that he found her unconscious on the roof. Well, dead was more like it. She nearly died twice because us, and it's ironic that she died because of herself. What kind of sick joke is that?

Rinsi was a good friend. In our first year I attacked her when I was not in my right mind and almost killed her. Ichio almost got her killed too. She survived both times, only to die trying to fix the world. Well, she certainly succeeded. We all wish she hadn't though. Nothing could fix the sadness we feel at losing a good friend. Even though the world is pretty well fixed, she couldn't even fix her friends, summons or not. Some of us think she's still around, spiritually, keeping an eye on us. We can only hope, can't we? Wherever she is, I hope she is happy. In the end, she didn't seem like it. I guess all the drama finally got to her. It didn't help she had been mentally raped - Tahtsu told us about that. Whatever the reason, she took her own life to try and make ours better. She wasn't as successfull as she hoped to be.

Jason here. I didn't know Rinsi as well as the others, but I miss her a lot too. Yeah, I got hurt because of her spell, but her next spell fixed everything anyway. She was a friendly, outgoing person. I don't know what drove her to do what she did, but it had to be terrible. Some of us have mixed feelings over what she did. Some are happy that the world is fixed, which means all of us 'freaks' are being accepted into society again, without anyone treating us any differently than a normal person. Some of us are angry or sad that she did what she did. But as for me, I'm sad that she's gone, but glad that we can walk around freely, without scorn for being different.

I guess summons aren't much different from lovers. After Rinsi died, poor Cecil stopped eating. S/he wouldn't smile or laugh any more, or talk. S/he just...faded away I suppose. I felt like doing the same, really, but I had to take care of her summons for her, so I couldn't. I knew her family had a long lineage for healing, so I thought her aunt and uncle would help, but they were nothing more than normal people. The gene, or whatever you want to call it, skipped her aunt - her mother's sister. Her aunt and uncle were gracious enough to let me in, and even took me as their adoptive son of sorts. I guess our common factor for loving Rinsi and missing her so much contributed to that. Her uncle was glad she was able to cast the spell successfully - proud, really - but not without tears. I was hoping she might be around some place, even not in body, but what I found in her note pad obliterated that idea. I told no one else, not even her family, though they seemed to know already. It's just too bleak an idea. The other students - her friends - hold hope that she's still around, watching over them. I can't find it in me to smash their hopes like that. World peace and prosperity or not, it doesn't fix the loss we feel, and it would be too cruel to take away what little joy they find in thinking what is not possible.

I am Rinsi's auntie, Nicole. Poor Tahtsu came to us with Cecil - my sister's summons, who had become Rinsi's summons - as limp and listless as a wilted leaf. Cecil had been in our family so long that we never thought what might happen if s/he didn't have a summoner any more. Whenever one died, s/he was passed on to the next. Rinsi was the last one, and without any heirs, Cecil had no summoner. It wasn't long before s/he died. I think it effected the other summons, too, though they tried not to show it. Our own summons, and our neighbors', seemed to grow listless for a bit, though they tried hard not to show it. They are back to normal now. Tahtsu is the only one without a summons. Rinsi must have given Cecil to him, but the bond had not been passed for some reason. According to our summons, Cecil is the only one to have died. The rest will be passed down to the heirs of their summoners.

Ah, Rinsi, you fixed the world but you couldn't fix your friends. What kind of cruel irony is that? Well, I guess you did fix some of them. My wife and I have adopted her lover, Tahtsu, as our own son. Taking care of him isn't easy, but I think eventually we'll get through. From what we hear from him, two of her friends - who had most of the problems - are back together, and two of her other friends - who had been trying to kill each other - have stopped fighting. Maybe it wasn't such a failure after all. Some of them are getting on with their lives quite nicely. Others need counseling to cope with their loss, but Nicole and I have no doubt that they will be okay. She and I have been working with Tahtsu on his problems. We're keeping a sharp eye out for someone to be a good lover for him, to help him cope with his losses. He does seem to be improving though. He hasn't smiled yet, but he's not so bleak any more either. Though we did burn her note pad. It was the only possession of hers we destroyed, and for good reason. We can't let anyone she knows know about what the spell really did. We've all been through enough pain. I think now it's time we move on, and help the world stay fixed. Obtaining is one thing. Maintaining is quite another.
