The Zone

I see things others can't.

I can't explain how it works. I've seen things since I was three. It used to scare me. I'd see spirits in my room. Sometimes, they would watch me sleep. They didn't do anything. I could see their eyes on me. The spirits followed me around.

I didn't know what they wanted. For the most part, they didn't interact with me. The spirits only watched me. To be honest, I didn't know what to think. I still can't figure them out.

As I got older, some of them interacted with me. Sometimes, they were nice. Other times, they scared me. There was one who was the worst.

I shuddered as I remembered Miranda and her wrath.

I don't like thinking about her. Once she was gone, things got better. I can still see spirits. They don't bother me so much.

I think I'm starting to like them.
