~The Moon And Sun~
.: Chapter One : Hermit :.
'Is it possible to love someone when you dont even know there name? When I..Know absolutely nothing about her? And yet she fascinates me,Though thats probaly only because she is so..mysterious.Hideing away in her home,This younge womam who cannot be much younger then myself,And I am Nineteen...So then perhaps she is eighteen? Or seventeen?'
Jared stands there,Watching,Waiting. He wants to see her again, but he knows hes already late for class...and that his instructor is going to give him hell about it.He is in luck today because soon the blinds began to shift as a single peice of it is pulled down abit.Perfectly elegant,Paler then the moon,Her fingertips brush the glass for a moment.
Her beautiful orbs are a rare color,Perfectly indigo..and yet they are so bright they are like little neon signs flashing. It grabs his attention easily as his gaze drifts to meet her own. Those indigo eyes widen as she realizes that someone is watching,The blinds fall back into their original place,She is gone.
Why must she always do that? Give him a single glance of her and then dissappear? It irked him,He wanted to know her,Wanted to wrap his arms around her and hold her.She always seemed so broken,Like a wounded bird. She always looked..so afaid.
She had moved here only three years ago when Jared was just fifteen,That had been the first time he had seen her.He had seen her few times after that,But this was the first and the most vivid.
He could remember,She was short and thin,Perfectly petite. But,she had all the right curves in all the right places..even for as young as she had been.Long raven hair falling past the soft swell of her buttocks.Red lips that put all roses to shame,And ehr skin was as white as snow. She did indeed remind him of the fairytale character 'Snow White'..Even though this girl looked alot more like a porclain doll.
She had been mostly a blur though,Rushing from the car and into the house like a frightened rabbit. She was simply a black and white blur at first,Her black hair and white skin..Along with the creamy white dress she wore that day.
What teenage boy couldent stop thinking about her? To have an obsession with the perfect girl,It was normal,Wasnt it??
Beneath him the bike would roar to life,Groaning softly as he kicked up the kick stand. He was off now,Makeing his way to the university because if he was more then thirty minutes late they werent to likely to let him into campus today.
----
'Its bad, bad, bad, bad, wrong! No! Stop thinking that!'
' Y'know,You have quite a perverted mind..Little one.'
'Shut up!!'
"Im not little..."
One could say Shadow was abit of a hermit,She never went outside..well,Only sometimes..but it was in the middle of the night. She used her window as a..window to the ouside world of daylight. She was use to talking to herself,And last time she had checked she had also made it official that she had split personalitys...Or,not really..But still,It was some kind of 'Inner Self' That never freakin' shut up!
Shadow was shy,All she ever did was sit in here in her room and read..Or look out the window,Which she had been able to do freely in the last house...Though in this one there was a curious neighbor whom always felt the need to watch and wait for her to look out..and once he was satisfied that she had done so..He would leave.
Secretly,She was glad that he was curious, she actualy kinda' felt..that..she liked him.But she would never admit it to her oloder sister,Andrea! Because then she was likely to invite him in,Though she knew Shadow hated company and would hide in her room the entire time..like she did..every day.
She could admit to herself though,He was beautiful,Handsome,A dashing prince! He looked exactly like the one in her book,Tall and somewhat broad, strong ..though without bulging muscles. He was just right,She could tell. His eyes were like blue crystal,Reflecting the suns light perfectly. And then his shoulder length blonde hair that looked so soft to touch,It was like silk; What she would give to run her hands through it.
Child of the sun,The sun prince. He made the fairytales she read come to life. The books her mother had written,There were thirty-two of them,All about the child of the moon and the child of the sun,Two teens who were reading the same book and suddenly got dragged into it.
She had only gotten so far in the first book,And she wanted to know what could happen next.
Long elegant fingers brushed over the black leather cover,Pulling it open as cautiously as she alway did.Her indigo orbs scanning the page for a moment as then with great anticipation she began to read again.
"Chapter Three.."
----
Jared huffed softly,He had passed his test..he hoped. He had gotten through the day quite well,Just as his usual daydreaming self.He thought it was rather amazeing how he could slack off so much and still get perfect grades.Perhaps his father was paying the teachers or something,He didnt really want to know though..he rather get what he earned.
His eyes were tired, falling half cosed even as he drove through his old victorian neighborhood,Not really watching the many mansions as he passed. They had always reminded him of the old lousiana plantations ..but only...in Texas. They almost looked exactly the same, each and every one of them with their dull grays, blacks, and whites,Their tall pillars and their large porches,They all had huge balconys and sat atop a large chunk of land..Though only some off them had orchards or gardens in the back,While others simply had a tower and a fence.
Black wrought iron fences,All dusty and rusty because not many around here were actually..young.Most had gardeners and what not come around to fix up the property,But even then..sometimes the work didnt get done.
He wasnt truly paying attention..Not until he got infront of her house,Then he was stareing, watching, waiting as he always did to see if he could catch a glimpse of her,Or even her older sister that was out occasionally..he might be able to get the woman to talk about the indigo eyed girl, though many had tried and failed..perhaps he would get lucky?
To Jared's dissappointment there wasnt anyone around,But it made him think..this place wasnt heavily guarded,he knew..since no one ever came around to check up on a security system,And no one ever dared to enter the house or try to break in because more then half the people in this small town thought the Crest's were vampires or witches..Or some kind of pharanormal somethin'.
Jared knew how to do it,He had read plenty of books on it..and the internet had many pages on it.He could break into that house if he wanted to.
'I sound..crazy..'
And of course,It was crazy..and a little much to do,But..He was rather curious,He wanted to know everything about the mysterious girl,He wanted to meet her.Jared was a spoiled brat,He always got what he wanted,And so his bike would speed off again,He needed to start prepareing..if he was going to sneak into such a large mansion as that.
