Chapter 1- Legends Of Akuma
Disclaimer-I DO NOT own the inuyasha cast! If I did I'd be rich and would have made this into a manga. And I don't own the names of the places the characters go to, im horrible at names, so im using actual places. Well most will be actual places. Some are fake. But I do own almost everything else. The characters may seem familiar, but it's probably due to the fact I had based them on certain characters on the manga and anime I've watched.
Also if the characters have personalities that are similar to yours or some one you know, it's probably coincidental, well, maybe…
Tba- before we start with the story, I'd like to say I feel sort of embarrassed.
Sesshomaru- Five minutes after she posted the intro, she fond the manga she was looking for.
Kagome-it was Yamato Gensouki.
Tba- well it was from an author I read a manga from, but it hasn't been updated in a while so I don't normally check… but it turns out it was completed, even though it didn't seem completed at all. *sigh*
Sesshomaru- you read so many series that no one can keep track, and you don't bother to write them down!!!!!!!!
Tba- that's what folders are for!
Sesshomaru- you have a million documents, no wonder your computer has so many problems…. *sigh*
Kagome- the person, who wrote Yamato Gensouki, also wrote Loveless.
It's strange you never tried Loveless before Tba.
Tba- hey!! It took me a LONG time to sort out my stuff ok!
Anyways, for the people who actually are reading this because it sparks their interest-
Inuyasha- though there's probably no one as insane as you-
*SMACK*
Inuyasha-*holding his cheek with a red hand print on it* ok, ok!!! Im sorry!
Tba- … well enjoy!!

As the cloaked figure walked through the door, many men watched, while others continued to drink sake and chat with their friends. Several men whispered to each other, “Who is he?” “What is a kid doing here?”
The stranger heard these whispers but ignored them. He walked slowly toward the counter, the bartender's eyes watched him carefully as he sat down.
The stranger told the bartender to get him some whiskey, the bartender was a man, around thirty years old, and he could tell by the stranger's voice, he was here to get information on something..
“How old are you?” the bartender asked, but this was just small talk, what he meant to say was something else.
The stranger smirked, he had put his hood on before he had arrived so they would not see his face, though his long hair covered his face pretty well itself.
“Im older than you think” he replied with a voice that sounded cold like the Autumn air.
The bartender placed the glass of whiskey in front of him.
Some men who sat by the counter left, the bartender took their glasses and began to clean them with a rag.
“I don't see “people” like you around much.” The bartender said in a soft voice.
The stranger smiled, “We travel around.” He picked up the glass and drank a bit of the whiskey. “It's not like we fit in here.” He replied with a slightly sad tone, “We don't fit in anywhere.”
A loud voice disrupted their conversation, “It's true I tell you!!!!” a slightly drunk man said.
A man who was sitting next to him replied, “There's no way, it's only a legend!”
“No Way!!!” The man said, picking up his glass, “IT had Red eyes-”
The stranger stiffened, the bartender watched him carefully, he relaxed when the stranger sighed and drink the last of his whiskey.
“He held onto a girl, they were talking, so I hid behind a bush, but then all of a sudden, he pinned her to a tree and bit her.”
Several men turned around, wondering if what he was saying was true.
“Her face, she was afraid, she wanted to scream, but it was like she couldn't. After a while, he let go of her and left.” He put the glass to his lips and drank the dark red liquid in inside. “When he left, I checked on her. The bastard!!! He had sunk his teeth into her and killed her.”
The sound of glass caused the men in the bar to look at the stranger, he put the money down on the counter for the drink.
He stood up and walked towards the door, everyone's watchful eyes on him.
He opened the door, but stopped in front of it. “If you do not wish to die as she did, stay away from matters like these. You will regret it if you do not listen to me.”
He walked out the door, and somehow, he seemed to disappear into the shadows of the night.
“Strange kid isn't he?” the bartender asked as he took the money on the counter.
“Yeah, strange..” The man who had told the story drank the rest of the whiskey.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He walked towards the forest, the gentle breeze swaying his cloak.
He stopped in the middle of a wide field, there was a single tree in the field.
Under the tree was the corpse of a woman, he walked towards it.
He studied to corpse thoroughly, `An akuma who could not control his blood lust….' He smirked to himself, `this is why humans believe we are monsters.'
A giant gust of wind suddenly blew, the cloak swayed roughly in the breeze. He stood up and turned around to face the man... no akuma, who had killed due to bloodlust.
The akuma had deep red eyes, his fangs and claws had grown. His face, smiled in anticipation for his next meal….
~~~~~~~~~~~~
`Another one… will I have to kill this one as well?'
“You…” the akuma smiled at him. “You smell delicious. You will be my next meal.”
He dropped down on all fours…imitating the crouch of a predator, with his teeth bared and his claws elongated, he looked like an animal.
The stranger took off his cloak to reveal a simple black kimono that many warriors wore, there was a leather sash that held a sword. They both stared at each other for a moment, the wind blew and his long green hair slightly blew in the breeze.
His deep blue eyes concentrated on the akuma, trying to find out how strong he was.
The akuma no longer had any patience, he wanted him to die, he lunged at him.
He swiftly dodged the attack without much effort. His eyes suddenly became a lighter color , “Though you can lure many humans to their death, you are not strong enough to defeat me.” He chuckled under his breath, “Any last words?”
The akuma laughed as well, “yeah, just one. DIE!!!”
The Akuma lunged at him again, only to miss.
The stranger chuckled,” you cannot defeat me, but it is your choice, do you wish to flee and survive or stay and die?”
The akuma growled at him, `Are you calling me a coward???”
“No, but...” His eyes returned to their normal color, “If you had run away, you would be smart.”
It took only a second, for him to kill the akuma, all he saw was a flash of white, the moon's light reflected off the blade.
He never saw the blade even move, but he felt the pain of the large deep gash on his upper chest. The blade had cut deep, cutting the arteries cause blood to spurt out, the blood mattered his long green hair. The akuma looked up at him, “How?”
The stranger smirked, he looked deadly and scary at that moment, his long hair hiding most of his face, the blood dripping off his hair, the blood stained blade at his side…
It was frightening…
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
He slowly turned around and took his cloak off the ground.
He sighed regrettably, `why did he not run when he had the chance?'
Tba-
He walked slowly through the forest, knowing that if he did not wash the blood out of his hair, it would become sticky later on.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When he reached the lake, it was almost dawn. `I hate this. Why is it that I always tend to get blood in my hair?'
He slowly combed his hair in the lake, the water was up to his waist, he knew there weren't any fish in the water, it was strange. He combed his long green hair with his fingers, `I'll probably have to cut my hair so I won't be noticed.'
He thought to himself, he got out of the lake and got dressed.
`The next town, I feel as if... There is something that is, waiting for me… but what?'
He chuckled to himself, `no, she couldn't be there… It's been years… she…' He sighed, `it's too early to get my hopes up...'
He walked out of the forest, seeing the bright sun, he sighed, `another one, it lives in the next town.' He stopped on a hill that overlooked the town.
~~~~~~~~~~In the Town~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Two figures ran throughout the town, they were being chased many of the citizens were armed with spears and swords.
Both held large sacks, filled with valuables they had stolen throughout the night, but, due to the sun rising, some one saw them.
The male wore a black kosode a white under shirt, and black hakama pants.
The girl wore a black kosode,a black hatori , and black hakama pants.
They both wore a black scarf that covered part of their face. Both the scarves had a red lotus embroidered on it.
“Kira, we have to get away from them. They'll kill us if we don't hurry.” The masked man said to his accomplice.
“Don't worry Riku, no one has ever caught us before, and they're not going to anytime soon.
