Crystal sighed softly as she walked up to Elaine and smiled at the taller girl. Elaine just ignored her and slammed her locker shut and started to walk off to where her friends were standing. Erika was standing with three or four other girls that were laughing amongst each other when Elaine walked over to then they all started to talk to her too. Crystal sighed softly and shook her head sadly, so much for becoming friends. Jessica came up to her and smiled at her.
“Hey Crystal!” she seemed to want something but Crystal wasn't in the mood to deal with her so she just started to follow after Elaine and her group of friends. Keeping a safe distance she kept them in her sight as they entered the cafeteria to be greeted by a few other girls that were waiting for them from what it looked to be like. Elaine laughed lightly sending shivers up and down Crystal's spine as she walked up to the group of ten or so girls. Erika waved at her and smiled softly; out of nowhere another girl that seemed to be just barley taller than Crystal ran up to Erika and jumped onto her back causing the girl to laugh lightly. Elaine smiled at the girl then turned her attention to Crystal. Almost instantly her smile changed to a glare.
“H-hi” Crystal stuttered out, mentally kicking herself, for sounding too scared. Erika smiled at Crystal and nodded her head as if trying to encourage her to say sorry.
“What?” Elaine asked not turning her attention to anything else around her.
“I…er…I wanted to apologize for what I said earlier.” Crystal finally stuttered out after a moment or two of silence.
“Why? So you can do it again?” Elaine hissed out causing Crystal to flinch. Suddenly Crystal felt a hot rage deep inside her heart and she started to clench her fists, trying not to do anything to the taller girl.
“No I just figured I'd be the smarter of the two and actually admit to being wrong.” Crystal snapped back causing the entire cafeteria to go silent.
“What now I'm stupid?” Elaine asked in irritation as she tried to keep the beast inside calm and collected. “Cause last time I checked I'm actually smarter than you in every way possible.”
“How's that, oh wait you mean you're smarter in being an ignorant piece of street trash?” Crystal knew she'd gone too far but she was pissed. Suddenly she was thrown against a wall and pinned to it by Elaine. The girl's calm façade had dropped completely and her blue eyes turned to a darker red.
“Repeat it, I dare you.” A hissed voice came out. It was different than Elaine's normal one and the girl's around her knew what was happening so they stepped up and pulled her off of Crystal. She fought against them but all eight of them were stronger put together than Elaine alone, so they dragged her away and out of the cafeteria. Crystal knew her calm façade had also fallen as she fell to the ground and closed her eyes. She had to calm down soon. After that she knew that she wasn't gonna have an easy time trying to find some good friends. She stood up and walked away from the girls coming over to see if she was okay. Walking down the halls she almost ran into another girl that was walking with her head down. Elaine was one of them and she was sure of it.
“Dammit!” Crystal hissed under her breath and walked into the nearest bathroom. She stepped over to the sink and turned the water on when it was cool enough she splashed some of it over her face and sighed softly. When another girl came into the bathroom she didn't even look up to see who it was. When she felt a hand on her shoulder she nearly jumped but instead she just spun around to find Erika standing there with a grim look on her face.
“Great job you stupid blood sucker, now you're gonna have to deal with her for the rest of the year.” Crystal's heart stopped and her stomach went to her throat. How'd she know what she was?
“W-what are you talking about?” Crystal tried to calm down but it wasn't working.
“I'm not stupid neither is Elaine you're a goddamn vampire and I'd if I where you I'd learn the rules around here cause this place is owned by the werewolves.” Erika's eyes flashed a blacker color and she smiled.
“You!” Crystal stopped in her thought and she just grinned slightly. “Aw the poor little mutts are trying to scare the big kids.” She taunted lightly causing Erika to growl at her irritably.
“Well just so you know you're playing the loosing game.” Erika just glared one last time as she exited the bathroom. Crystal just watched the girl leave and shook her head. What in the bloody hell is she talking about? She thought to her self, the loosing game? Crystal shook her head and splashed some more water onto her face before shutting it off. She dried her hands and exited the bathroom.
XxXxXx (outside with Elaine and her friends)
Elaine sat down on the curb as she started to take control of the beast inside. She sighed as she stared at her other friends and sighed softly. The girl with red hair sat beside her and smiled. She wore a pair of boys dress pants and a blazer with a tie covering a girls white dress shirt.
“Do you believe me now Eliza?” Elaine asked the girl sitting beside her. Eliza nodded er head and sighed softly. “It was completely useless to try and talk to her when I know she won't accept our ideas.”
“Well I just figured she would.” She murmured softly. “I mean I believe in what you're doing and not because I'm dating Erika but because it's what I was after in the beginning, and what my parents believed in.”
“I know, I knew your parents fairly well and I miss them too.” Elaine smiled at the young vampire and laughed out loud.
“What's so funny?” Erika asked as she came up to the group and sat beside her girlfriend and wrapped her arms around the significantly smaller girl and held her close.
“I was just thinking about what to do now, and I find it pretty funny that we've got a vampire against us and one that's a close friend of ours, that's all” Elaine shrugged and chuckled again. “To top it the off, the one we're against is kinda cute now that I think about it.” She no longer needed to try and take control of her other form as she stood up the other girls thought about it for a moment and also nodded theirs heads.
“Well now I think we should go back inside, before everybody starts looking for us.” Another girl said looking up at the sky, her long white hair flowing freely down her back and the tighter cloths revealing her lithe frame.
“For once I agree with Sammy” Most others nodded with the girl that came up behind her and hugged her. Her shorter neon green hair pushed up into a mohawk and loose fitting cloths not really revealing anything on her body. The next girl to speak was an older girl that obviously didn't fit in the group they were in. She wore a pair of camo cargo jeans and a black t-shirt that was tucked in, she had a pixy cut that was a bright orange and tipped with yellow making it look like fire.
“Andi, you always agree with Sammy, and this time so do I.” She smiled and looked around at the younger girls and sighed softly. “Besides if I get caught helping you girls skip I'll get fired.” The girls all laughed at that and they stood up off the curb and started to walk back into the building that served as their school and housing. The bells rang signaling for the next hour of class to start. Elaine and her group of her strange friends walked to their rooms to grab their stuff then to their classes which they had together.
“So are we still having Lisa's birthday this weekend?” Sammy asked as Andi came up and wrapped her arms around the girl's waist. Elaine nodded and smiled at Andi. She had her boy's blazer unbuttoned with the same Hatchet Man t-shirt; she was wearing earlier, underneath it. The girls started talking as they walked towards class and into the same orange and yellow haired female that they'd been taking to during lunch.
“Heya Lisa!” The three girls smiled up at their teacher and went to sit by their other friends.
“Heya girls!” Lisa said as she smiled at them and waited for the rest of the girls to settle down as Crystal walked into the room causing Elaine, Andi, Sammy, Eliza and the others that talked to Elaine to groan loudly. Lisa glared at them and they went silent. Crystal sighed irately as she walked up to the teacher and smiled at her. Lisa looked at her with her eyebrows raised and shook her head. “Sit over by the window behind Rebecca.” The girl with long brown hair sighed irritably as she shook her head and glared at Lisa. Crystal sighed irritably and walked over to where the girl was sitting, smiled, and sat down in front of her. Rebecca looked over at Elaine who nodded her head and winked at her.
“Heya bitch!” Rebecca hissed into Crystal's ear and chuckled when the girl shot a glare her way. “Ohhh, so scary!” She hissed as she looked around the classroom the other girls were looking at her and watching the blondes reaction to what was happening. “Aw come on, I'm just wanting to play with ya!” Rebecca hissed and Crystal just glared at her again. “What no bitchy assed comebacks?” She asked as she looked at Elaine who just nodded at her.
“Hey Rebecca, I've got a joke for you!” Elaine said as she stood up and walked over to the girl. Rebecca nodded her head and smiled. “How do you know a blonde's been on the computer?”
“I don't know how?” Rebecca asked looking at Elaine and smiling.
“There's white out on the screen.” Elaine replied and smiled as Rebecca started to laugh as did Elaine's other group of friends. “How do you know another blonde's been on the computer?”
“How?”
“There's writing on the white out!” Elaine said laughing at the joke as did most of the other girls in the classroom including Lisa. Crystal turned around and glared at Elaine as. “What did the blonde say when she looked in her box of cheerios?”
“What?”
“Oh look, doughnut seeds!” Elaine said grinning this time all the girls in the class laughed except Crystal. She continued to glare at Elaine as she tried not to cry.
“What the hell is you're problem with me?” Crystal hissed as she looked at Elaine and her group of friends. They just laughed at her and shook their heads.
“You're the one that started it so shut it!” Eliza hissed as she looked at Crystal and smiled evilly.
“Okay, girls enough, I do admit that the blonde jokes were funny but now it's time to learn.” Lisa cut in as she looked at her class and they went silent. Elaine went back to her seat and sat down. Crystal put her head in her arms and sighed trying not to completely kill Elaine. The rest of the class went by in a blur for Elaine and her friends but slowly for Crystal.
