They continued the travel between the thick forest and the high mountains. The group went along a large river until they turned to go up a small path hid between trees and rocks. They exited the forest and reached a long suspended bridge. It was above huge falls. The river behind the school separated itself in two, falling, making two falls behind the majestic school, creating two rivers passing on both side of the principal building, and under some footbridge, maintained by enormous white pillars half into the water. The guild was built on the edge of the land and just in front, the water fell, creating two magnificent falls. The school was made of one principal building, five towers and a big structure was used as a combat arena. Finally, in the main edifice, was a tall clock tower. They entered the hall and Lyra's jaw opened wide; the walls were as high as the bridge compared to the rivers below. (Meaning really high...)In the middle, there were seven statues of women.

“-Hum...Kohaku...
-Yes?!
-Do you know who those women are?!
-Well... They logically are the goddesses that created the guild...
-Oh...Yeah...”

She read the little text below one of the statue and it said that she was the goddess of strength and that she had die because she had love a mortal man, and that was totally prohibited.

“-Lyra...She, came Kohaku's voice.
-What?!
-She really looks like you...
-I think the cold got to your head...
-No, she really looks like you!”

A short old man came to them and stared at Lyra, then at the statue, Lyra, the statue.

“-It is true...Oh god! That would only mean one thing; you are her reincarnation...
-Don't you think you're exaggerating just a little bit, said Kohaku.
-Read the text and you'll understand.”

The young prince bent himself and read the small passage, then, his face became livid.

“-What the hell...
-I told you...Didn't I?
-It's probably just a coincidence...
-I doubt it...
-What?! What is it, asked Lyra.
-Long ago, the goddess you have in front of you fell in love with a mortal. The goddess was killed and the man has been punished, his blood has been mixed with the one of a lion and it gave him a bestial appearance. Because of his fault, his entire family and his descendants had the same curse. They let him his son, for him to always remember his terrible error, said the man.
-But...Kohaku's not...
-Kohaku is the direct descendant of the cursed man...
-Is there a way to break the curse?!
-I'm afraid there is not...
-Whatever, I'm going to my room,” said Kohaku.

The young man went away, not turning back, definitely in a bad mood.

“-The young prince has become a lot quieter since the incident with his poor mother...
-The incident?! What happened?!
-I'm afraid the beautiful ex-queen of Ides has been murdered the night of his tenth birthday...And the saddest thing is that he was there to see it...Anyway...I shouldn't tell you, the prince will have my head if he knows...”

The old man went away in the opposite side of Kohaku, leaving Lyra alone with her confused mind. Then, she remembered the morning at Ides.
Flashback

She walked along the long corridor, going to the dinner room for breakfast, when she noticed a half-opened door. She pushed it slowly and only saw Kohaku standing in the middle. It looked like a child's bedroom. There were toys on the floor, the bed wasn't made and the curtains were closed letting only a little bit of light to enter the room. She entered silently and went to stare at what Kohaku was looking at on the floor. She went beside and gazed, horrified. Blood. There was dry blood almost everywhere on the floor and on the toys. She griped Kohaku's arm and asked:

“-Kohaku! What happened here?!
-A long time ago, there was a murder here...
-Did the murderer have been caught?!”

Kohaku bent his face, hiding his blue eyes under his blond strands and shook his head slowly. After a short moment he lifted it and smiled gently at her. Telling her that they should go to the dinner room, he pulled her outside the dark room.

End of Flashback
A big wave of worry went through her body as she remembered the moment. The murderer hadn't been caught, was it Kohaku?! No, it couldn't...the old man said he was there to see. His father?! No, he died before his mother...

`-Oh ...my...god...'
