Just something I had to write for a class almost two years back

Sunrise

Red, orange, pink, and yellow.
Get up now, bring your head from your pillow.
The dark sky turns into a wonderful sight.
I would like to see it at a different hieght.

How can a glowing ball of yellow,
can ever be so mellow.
Stop lounging in bed, get up and look outside.
If we don't be careful, the ocean will swallow it with the tide.

As the sun rises, colors clash.

As th day gets older,
We grow older.
Once again the day grows blue,
And we dream about something new.
