Holding you, was like trying to pin down water.
In the beginning, we would sit and look through all the questions only to find a few answers.
Finding that if we hadnt done certain things at the start,
It wouldve worked in the end.

But, just like water, you slipped through my fingers.
I watched as you floated away, drowning me a little at a time.
While slowly going under, a thought occured to me.
I didnt need your life jacket, I could swim on my own.
