"You are the key to a prophecy. In this prophecy, you are to join forces with a very powerful young meister. He is revered as a prince in this land. By the powers that foretold this prophecy, I am bound not to tell you or him who the other is. You must find yourselves, become bonded to each other. That's what makes this a rather complex divination. If it were up to me, I would have informed him prior to your arrival and started training you to use your power. But alas, we must do with what we are given..." Blair said, with intense weightiness. "So, from what you're saying, I'm an important part of some mysterious puzzle here?" Saoko explicated plainly. "Yes. It's very unfortunate that you had to be removed from your own world to fulfill this portion of the prophecy. What's so is so; what's done, is done." Blair recited. Why are you saying it like it's a bad thing I'm here? I thought this was part of this whole prophecy thing?" Saoko inquired. "I was just trying to be sympathetic. I mean, you were just pulled out of your comfort zone. Your home. Your LIFE!" Blair retorted. "You obviously aren't paying much attention. Otherwise you'd realize I was fine!" Saoko interjected. "Do you see me crying? No. Do you see me complaining? NO! Then why must you assume I'm so weak that this all terrifies me? It doesn't. Actually, it's a nice change of pace. I'm wanted. Needed! You don't get how good that feels." Saoko exasperated. "Wow! I'm, I'm sorry..." Blair recanted. "Yeah, well it's a little late for that!" Saoko snapped. "You don't have to get so snappy about it!" Blair blurted out, getting rather flustered. "Ugh! You know what? I'm exhausted, let's say we call it a day?" Saoko announced. "All right then. If it'll get you to calm down, then I'm all for it." Blair said in a relieved tone. "Ok then." Saoko muttered. *GRRRAAGGLLEEE* Both Blair and Saoko's eyes widened. "Whoops! My stomach..." Saoko explained. "Oh, you didn't eat yet?" Blair queried. "No, was kinda busy being eaten by this big black hole in my floor and getting my ass saved." Saoko paused. "Thanks for doing it though." "Oh, no problem..." Blair answered. "Just doing my part in..." "In the prophecy, I know!" Saoko finished. "Well, I'm not sure how or what you eat. So take what you can find." Blair replied. "What if you don't have anything, I like I mean." Saoko added. "Hmm~" Blair trailed, placing a finger to her lower lip. "I can always lend you some money..." Blair concluded. "Oh, thank you!" Saoko said. "I wasn't finished! You will pay me back by working it off." Blair added. "Oh... Ok." Saoko murmured. She decided to head over to the kitchen to start looking for something to eat. She opened the refrigerator door, only to find it full of sugary junk foods and cat food. [Well, Blair is a cat...] "Uggh!" Saoko muttered with disgust. She closed the door then went on to look in the pastry. She didn't get much better results. "Uhm, Blair?" Saoko yelled. "Whaat~" Blair responded. "Can I borrow some money?" Saoko yelled again. "Nyaaaaa~" Blair cried as she came into the kitchen. "Do you really not like my food?" Blair sobbed. "Ghk! No, that's not it... I just need more then sugar to sustain me." Saoko rejoined. "Oh~ OK!" Blair chimed cheerfully. "Here's ¤20¤, that should be enough. I also want any change back. Nyo'k?" Blair instructed. "Yes ma'am..." Saoko answered blandly. As she was about to head for the door, she came to realize what she was [Or wasn't] wearing. "Um, Blair. One more thing..." Saoko said blushingly. "What is it?" Blair asked. "Can I borrow some clothes?" Saoko mumbled.
