Is this Real?

Hikaru woke up one morning and it struck him like lightning. Well, perhaps that isn't quite true. Sure, the thought had crossed his mind before. But only to flitter through and never really settle, thus giving him no time to contemplate it properly.

Here on this Saturday morning, a morning seeming like any other, he turned in his bed to face the one still sleeping not five feet from him and lightning struck, “I love my brother”. With this realization came a rapid need to run to the bathroom and hide.

“Hikaru?” a sleepy Kaoru questioned as the door the bathroom slammed. Knowing that something was wrong, the younger twin rolled out of bed and went to the closed barrier of the bathroom. He knocked softly. “Hikaru...are you okay?”

“Yeah.” Kaoru frowned deeply, that was the most unconvincing `yeah' he had ever heard. If his brother was going to try to lie to him, which was stupid, he really should do a better job. After all they were some of the best actors Kaoru knew.

“Hikaru, are you sick? What is going on?” Kaoru tried the knob, only to find it locked. Now he was puzzled and a bit perturbed, he was never locked out of where his brother was. He slammed the door with his fist, “Unlock the door!”

“I can't.” Hikaru replied weakly.

“What do you mean? Is the lock broke, the knob stuck?” concern laced Kaoru's words as he began examining the doorknob closer. It looked fine to him.

“No, the lock is not broke, the knob is fine, the door works…” Hikaru whispered on the verge of tears.

Alarmed Kaoru tried the door again, “Then why can't…why won't you open the door?”

“I just...It is just...Leave me alone!” At this the younger redhead looked stricken. He backed away from the barrier, glaring at it. There was a tense moment of silence, then...

“You had better damn well open this door NOW Hikaru Hitachiin!” He rarely, if ever, spoke with such force to his elder brother. In actuality, he had kind of surprised himself with that one.

Hikaru was in shock; his twin's words, that tone, but he was determined not to let him in. He had to figure out what was going through his head, by himself. Seeing the other boy would only complicate matters, it was not an option.

“Or what?” It was childish. He knew it before the utterance had completely left his lips. He was just trying to buy some time.

“Fine!” Kaoru shouted. Now the older Hitachiin was worried. He really hadn't meant to upset his brother. He just needed time. Just then he thought he heard an odd noise. “What is that? It sounds heavy…” as something moved across the floor.

“Kaoru, what are you doing?” No answer. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea after all. Maybe he should have talked to his brother. No, no he needed to understand why he suddenly experienced this wave of love toward Kaoru. Well, really it wasn't so sudden. It just hadn't been something he expected.

Hikaru started to pace the room. They played the game of “brotherly love” all the time. At some point it had stopped being a game, he just wasn't sure when. And the other question was did Kaoru feel the same? He still loved his brother in a brotherly way but loving him more than that would be wrong wouldn't it? It would be almost narcissistic, but Hikaru knew that wasn't true, they may look alike but--What was that smell?

Outside the trap Hikaru had set himself in, Kaoru sat down to eat. He sat on top of the chest of clothes he had place in front of the door. The door opening towards Kaoru really did make Hikaru trapped.

And since Hikaru was trapped, Kaoru made sure to fix one of his brother's favorite breakfasts. Just inches away from the door Kaoru made sure to fan the smell into the trap.

“Yum. This is the best breakfast.” Munching happily. “Waffles with lots of maple syrup.”

Hikaru was frozen. “He wouldn't.” Finally walking over to the door, he found the smell deliciously overpowering. “He did! That brat!” Hikaru sighed.

“Hikaru, too bad you decided to pout. You are missing something really good.” Hikaru swallowed, his stomach growled. Okay, fine. He would go out there and eat and then take time to think. One really shouldn't think on an empty stomach anyhow. He unlocked the door and tried to push it open, only to find something was blocking the way. He mumbled a quick prayer; his twin was not supposed to be this evil.

“Kaoru?” he said sweetly.

“Yes, Hikaru?” just as sweet.

“There seems to be something blocking the door.”

“Please, please let it not be what I think it is. He wouldn't be that mean!” thought Hikaru staring at the knob in his hand.

“Oh, that would be the trunk I put there. I just felt like rearranging.” Kaoru said between bites.

“And I am supposed to be the evil one?” Hikaru was stuck, smelling wonderful food and hearing...

“You know Hikaru, maple syrup is REALLY messy.” And the sucking of fingers commenced. “I mean, it is sticky and sweet,” Hikaru could see a soft tongue running along the side of the index finger to the tip, insertion of the finger into the mouth and back out again, smacking and licking of the lips… “It really is the most wonderful food.”

Hikaru eyes widened, visions of Kaoru and syrup dancing through his mind. He was somewhat surprised when he felt himself responding to these visions and the loud noises coming from Kaoru. He didn't even bother answering Kaoru's question as he tried to quash the image of his brother, his tongue and ten delicate, long digits. The thought of each finger popping in and out of that warm mouth was quickly going southward. He had to stop this before… too late image planted.

“Ugh!” groaned Hikaru.

“What was that?” Kaoru asked innocently. He was really tired of eating. His brother still hadn't told him what was wrong, though he had definitely gotten Hikaru's attention. “This is fun! I should do it more often!” though Kaoru as he stood up and stretched. Something popped along his back made him moan. Stretching this way and that Kaoru continued to moan.

Hikaru, sunk to the floor, he was disparately trying to ignore this recent development. However, his ears perked up at each moan, at each panted breathe. This did not help to alleviate his current `problem.'

“W-what are you doing, Kaoru?” He tried to keep his voice as level as possible.

“Stretching.” Kaoru picked up the various plates and set them off to the side to be cleaned up later.

“Stretching?” Hikaru tried to sound uninterested.

“Yes, what is so odd about that? I have a kink I can't quite seem to get out. You know you could help me but wait,” dramatic pause, “You are too busy pouting.”

Hikaru sighed in frustration, and tried, if possible, to sink lower into the floor. This was not how he had planned; in fact this was not how he had planned to spend his Saturday at all. More moaning and the older redhead found his hand involuntarily going to help with his `problem.' Pictures of his brother covered in butter and maple syrup accentuated by certain sounds fueled his slow and steady pumping. Hikaru started to groan.

Kaoru had stopped stretching and was lying on the chest with his head resting on the door. He was trying to figure out what to do in order to get his brother to share what was bothering him. The younger twin stared at the door blankly, then he heard it, the sound of his brother.

Hikaru really didn't want to stop and that bothered him the most. This felt wonderful; not just the hand, but the whole idea…was he wrong? How did truly feel about his brother? How does Kaoru feel? Hikaru groaned again.

So completely involved with the imagines in his head and his hand's involvement, he never heard the trunk being moved or the door opening. Hikaru was solely focused on one thing.

“Kaoru!” he cried out as he brought himself to completion.

“Yes?” Kaoru replied from the doorway, a smile on his face.
