Akuma Ryu gazed out of the private jet window he sat next to and stared dully down at the strip of land called Japan.
"Akuma-san, we'll be landing in 15 minutes." said the flight attendant.
He simply nodded without looking away from the view and she walked away. He thought back to a few weeks ago when he recieved a letter from his grandmother, saying that she wanted him to go to school with his cousin to keep an eye on him. He had no choice but to agree and now he was going go to the same high school as his French cousin.
"I wonder how this Ouran High School is going to react when they see me..." he muttered, a British accent stongly hung on his words. This was his first time going to Japan.
He wondered how much his younger cousin had grown since the last time he saw him five years ago in France. Tamaki had blonde hair and blue eyes and was always a bit childish, he would be easy to spot in the crowd. Chuckling to himself, he buckled himself to prepare to touchdown.
_-Tamaki-_
Tamaki waited at the airport for his English cousin with Kyouya. He was very excited to see him. Tamaki had always had a special connection with Akuma, even though they were almost complete opposites.
"Tamaki, please calm down." Kyouya said, trying to get the blonde to stop shifting positions in his seat.
"But I'm so excited! I cant calm down! I haven't seen Kuma-kun in five years, and now he's going to go to school with me!" Tamaki exclaimed, waving his hands in the air like and idiot.
Kyouya sighed, then chuckled to himself. He couldn't help but smile at his friend. Sure Kyouya had hated his guts before, but now he trully thought of the blonde as his good friend.
Suddenly, Tamaki leapt out of his seat and ran towards a guy about the same size as the twins with black, shaggy hair that reached past his shoulders and jumps on him. Even though Tamaki was four inches taller than him, the guy didn't even flinch as he caught him.
"Kuma-kun! I'm so happy to see you!" Tamaki exclaims in pure joy.
The guy gives a small smile and replies in a deep smooth tone "It's good to see you too, Tamaki." Kyouya detected his heavy accent and realized that he was British.
The blonde jumps off of his cousin and draggs him over to Kyouya who hadn't moved from his seat.
"Kyouya, this is my cousin Akuma. Kuma-kun, this is my good friend Kyouya." Tamaki introduced them to each other.
Kyouya became entranced by the Brit's almost glowing amber eyes. They radiated a warm glow and yet his gaze was icy and hard. After a second, he snapped out of his trance and grinned, then stood and said "It's nice to meet you Akuma-san." He offered him a hand.
Akuma took it, his slender, soft hands shook Kyouya's with a gentle yet firm grip. "Please, call me Aku. And its a pleasure meeting you." Akuma said in a smooth tone, being as polite as he could.

That night...
"Hey Kuma-kun, want to go see the Host Club tomorrow after school? I am the one who started it." Tamaki asked proudly, fluffing his pillow.
Akuma was already in his bed, staring up at the ceiling. "Whatever." he said in an emotionless tone.
"Aku? What's wrong?" Tamaki asks as he pulls the blanket over his head.
"Nothing. Just thinking. Don't worry." he replies, looking over at his cousin in the bed next to his. Tamaki wanted to share a room with him, like the old days. Akuma guessed that he wanted to feel safe, from his grandmother perhaps, and Akuma was someone he could trust and count on when he was in trouble. The British gave his cousin a sad look. "Taki, did Nana treat you... badly?" he asked, using the nickname he gave to the blonde a long time ago.
Tamaki's eyes dulled, but he smiled weakly and said "Not really. Everyone has been good to me, really..." He trailed off at his last sentence, looking down at the floor.
But Akuma didn't believe him. "Taki, tell me the truth. She made me come here to keep an eye on you. She doesn't trust you, obviously, and that makes me worry." he said, sitting up.
Tamaki was silent, then looked at Akuma with teary eyes. "She hates me... but I don't know why. Aku... I wish she didn't hate me so much..." his voice was cracking up and a few tears fell from his eyes.
Akuma stood quickly and rushed to the blonde and embraced him. As soon as Tamaki was safe in his cousin's arms, he sobbed into his chest, letting everything out. Akuma sat silently, rubbing his back and holding him in a gentle yet firm embrace. He loved his cousin like a younger brother and would always be there to comfort him when he could.
Soon, the blonde stopped crying and fell asleep in his cousin's arms. Akuma climbed into the bed with him and let Tamaki's head rest on his chest as he fell asleep as well.
"Akuma-san, we'll be landing in 15 minutes." said the flight attendant.
