Chapter 3
“Everyone knew what you two were up to.” Souji smiled cheerfully from where he sat on the bleachers adjacent to the school soccer field. “I can't believe that you guys didn't get in trouble.”
Iani shrugged and wrapped his arms around his knees,”Well I don't really care about stuff like that.” Souji nodded his understanding and motioned for Iani to sit between his legs. Ever since he started school at Shion Academy, Souji would convince him to watch soccer practice with him after school. He used to be on the team, but quit the year before due to health related problems. “Do you want to sleep over at my place tonight?”
Iani nodded and relaxed as Souji's fingers massaged his scalp,”I've never been to your apartment before, but Tetsu's told me all about it.”
Iani sighed as he thought,”I'm trying to decide if we should call a band practice or not. We have that gig in a few days and I've already gotten permission for us to skip school so that we can practice.”
Souji hmm'ed and started to braid Iani's hair,”I don't mind practicing today and tomorrow, but I don't know about Heisuke. “
Heisuke was a third year at their high school with a major Lolita fetish and he was the bass guitarist for the band. “By the way, what is our band called?” Iani grinned,”I'm thinking of calling it Bluebird, but that's one of the things that I wanted to discuss during practice.”
“We should go to Shibuya after school and pass out fliers to the local kogals,” Souji murmured absently. “My sister made some really cool ones for our concert on Friday. The tickets were a pain to price, but I think that 5000 yen is reasonable enough for a concert.”
Iani mentally added up the numbers in his head,”We'll need to sell at least 200 tickets if we want to make a million yen.” His gaze turned to the soccer field where Shinpachi had just made a goal over Tetsu. “I guess that we should hit up 109 in Shibuya as well as some of the stores and clubs in Harajuku.” Souji groaned,”So we'll have to up the fan service to an unheard of level. I hope we don't get arrested again. I'm running out of bail money.”
Iani reached into his schoolbag and pulled out a sketch pad. “What is our band's style. I wanted us to be like an Americanized Dir en Grey, but I don't think that we would look too good in leather pants.”
Souji shrugged and finished the last braid in Iani's hair and tied a ribbon around the length of silky hair. “Maybe we should just wait until the concert to decide.”
Iani stood up as the soccer team filed over to the bleachers and he skipped down to throw his arms around Tetsu's neck and shower the older boy with kisses. “You were awesome out there. I can't wait to see you in action against a real team.”
“Oi Pachi,” Tetsu shouted,”get Heisuke so we can change.” In the locker room, the four boys changed out of their school uniforms into jeans and t-shirts. “We don't look very exotic do we?” Iani grinned and then pulled out two pairs of leather pants from his bag. “Only Souji and I need to wear tight leather clothes. We're the ones doing most of the fan service after all.”
The tiny braids in Iani's hair swung back and forth as he and Souji made a mad dash towards the subway station that was only a block away from Shion Academy.
Sanosuke pumped his fist in the air as he threw himself onto a seat. “We are too lucky to have a whole car to ourselves!” Iani and Tetsu chose seats in the back of the train and were curled up together while Shinpachi and Heisuke sat opposite each other.
Iani kissed Tetsu suddenly and raked his nails down the boy's arms. He purred and pulled himself into Tetsu's lap and then yelped as Souji plopped down into the seat that he had just vacated.
“You two need to take a break from the kissing. I've decided that we'll split up into groups and take Shibuya by storm using our cuteness. Tetsie, you're with Pachi and Sano.” Tetsu pouted, but didn't dare argue with Souji. “Fine then.”
The first thing that Souji and Iani saw when they got off the train, was the cutest bunch of Gothic-Lolita girls that they had ever seen. “You girls are so cuuuuuute!” Souji squealed, practically diving head first into the group of girls.
“Don't do that Souji,” Iani called out, apologizing to the girls one by one for Souji's rudeness. One of the girls blinked up at Souji with an awed look on her face. “You're a student at my mommy's school aren't you? She teaches at Shion Academy.” Souji grinned proudly and bowed to the little girl.
“Who's your mom?” Iani said softly, falling into step with the group of GothLolis,”There aren't many female teachers at our school.”
“Yamanami Akesato, right?” Souji smiled and walked ahead of them, passing out fliers to every girl that walked by him. “So you're her daughter Saya. I've heard a lot about you.”
Yamanami Akesato was a very beautiful woman and obviously, she passed her looks down to her daughter. Saya was charmingly petite with short, curly black hair and huge blue eyes. The local girls school must have had a day off because none of the girls were in their uniforms. Saya was dressed in a pink and black dress with ruffles and lace. “You look like a doll.” Iani said, shivering as he wondered how he would look in an outfit like that. No one would make him wear that.
“So where do we go now?” Souji whipped out his cell phone and then texted back quick reply. “Tetsu and the rest have already gone to 109 without us. I can't believe that Heisuke ditched us for those idiots.” Affronted, Iani glared at the upperclassman,”Hey don't insult Tetsu. He's doing better now in school.”
Souji stuck out his tongue and the grinned as he watched a familiar mop of blue hair turn the corner. “It's been a while Mimi.” The editor of Harajuku's most famous magazine had graduated from Shion Academy and she was always looking for new acts. “How is LoliROK doing?”
Mimi grinned and threw her arms around Souji's neck. “Ever since your hunk of a boyfriend posed as the centerfold, we've been getting business from all over the world. I even have an interview lined up with Miyavi for next week.”
Iani barely had time to cover his ears before Souji started screaming. “Oh my gawd,” Souji cried,”Please let me sit in on the interview. I have to see him up close just once.”
Souji was the official president of the Harajuku chapter of Miyavi's fan club and he had a very strong obsession with the visual artist. Not that Iani could blame him, the white haired boy was such huge fan of Kyo from Dir en Grey that he attempted to sneak into his hotel room when the band was playing in Nagoya two years ago. (1)
Mimi giggled and then looked at Iani. “I haven't seen you around Souji before. Are you one of his classmates?”
Iani nodded and held out his hand for Mimi to shake. “Kitamura Iani. It's a pleasure to meet you.” Mimi grinned,”Likewise. I'm Kitade Momiji, but I prefer to be called Mimi.”
Out of nowhere it seemed, Tetsu and Heisuke popped up. “Hey we ran out of fliers. Can we have a few more?”
“What did you do with the three dozen that we gave you?” Iani asked, not at all liking the way that Tetsu and Heisuke were grinning. “You couldn't have given all of those out.” He shook his head and pulled more fliers from his messenger bag,”Never mind,” he muttered,”I don't want to know.”
Iani recognized the look in Mimi's eyes even before she did.
“We should do an interview with you guys.“ Mimi grinned widely and then turned to Souji, obviously taking him to be the leader of the band. “Do you mind Souji? We'll pay you and sell tickets from our office in 109 as well as take care of advertising.”
Iani growled softly, upset even though Mimi wasn't shunning him on purpose and Souji caught his eye. “Excuse me Mimi-chan, but you really should talk to Iani. It's his band after all.”
Mimi looked mildly surprised when she turned to look at Iani. “You look so young.” Iani raised an eyebrow and pouted. Tetsu smirked and wrapped an arm around Iani's waist.
“Iani is the brains behind this whole band. Without him, we wouldn't even be a band today. He writes all of our songs.” Iani smiled gratefully at Tetsu and kissed him on the cheek. That kiss soon turned too passionate to be ignored and Tetsu slid his hand under Iani's shirt.
Suddenly the couple was blinded by the flash from a camera and they pulled apart. “What was that for?” Tetsu growled and glared at Mimi. The older woman grinned impishly and fired off a few more shots.
“You two make the cutest couple ever. You're even cuter that Souji and his boyfriend.” Iani blushed and looked at Souji. The older boy was talking to Sanosuke and Shinpachi who had just ran up to them asking for more fliers. “I've never seen Souji's boyfriend so I can't agree with you on that.”
The interview went off without a hitch and within the hour, the teenagers were back on the streets of Harajuku. “That went well.” Tetsu said, stretching his arms over hi head,”Your friend isn't as annoying as she looks.”
“Whatever.” Souji muttered. Ever since leaving Mimi's office, Souji had been pensive and moody, two character traits that Iani had never seen in him before. Heisuke and Shinpachi had left with Sanosuke soon after and it just seemed as though Souji deflated. He looked worried and he was frantically sending one text message after another.
“What the hell is wrong with you?” Tetsu growled, not one for tact and subtlety. “You've been moping like a lovesick girl for a half hour now. It's really getting annoying.” Iani glared at Tetsu and smacked him in the back of his head. “Don't be rude Tetsu. It isn't any of our business.”
Always the voice of reason, Iani hugged Tetsu before moving to walk next to Souji. 'Where are we going now?” Souji looked up from his cell phone,”My boyfriend is sending someone to pick us up. It shouldn't be too long.”
“What does your boyfriend do for a living?” Iani had heard the rumors in school. Everyone thought that Souji was with a yakuza boss and so far, the rumors hadn't been proven.
Souji sighed and sat cross legged on an overturned crate on the sidewalk. “My Toshi runs a club around here. He's pretty rich and he pays for my rent when my parents can't afford to send me any money.” He ran his hand through his hair and looked off int o the distance. “He means so much to me, but he's such a stubborn fool.”
Iani giggled softly and glanced at Tetsu. “I know what you mean.” Both boys started to snicker and Tetsu glared at them, unsure if they were laughing at him or at something else. A car pulled up in front of them and while Iani stared warily at it, Souji was already pulling him towards the car. “It's safe, I promise.”
The drive of the car was a thin young man with spiky black hair that was pulled into a rattail at the back of his head. Tetsu recognized him at once and leaned forward in his eat. “When did you get back from Seoul Susumu?” He asked curiously,”I thought that you and Tatsu were going to be gone for a week.”
Susumu frowned and concentrated on driving, seemingly ignoring Tetsu's question. “Tatsu was worried about you and since we had finished our job, we decided to come back home.” It was kinda sweet the way that Susumu tried not to appear to care about Tetsu. Iani grinned and curled up against Tetsu's body. Tetsu groaned and started to kiss Iani's neck, graduating to his lips when the younger boy twisted against him.
“Can't you guys go an hours without making out?” Souji sounded slightly annoyed and he glared at them. But he was ignored in favor of Tetsu sliding his hand into the back of Iani's pants to grope at that perfect rear end. “Ohh Tetsu,” Iani mewled and started to rock his hips against Tetsu's touches.
It was no surprise to Souji that when the car stopped, Iani and Tetsu toppled over like a set of obscene dominoes. “That's what you get.” Iani pouted up at him and tried to smooth his clothes down, a hard feat to manage considering that Tetsu was still attempting to get into his pants. “You're not funny Souji.”
Susumu ignored them and walked into the club. Souji followed, chatting about something or the other as Tetsu and Iani fixed their clothes. “I'm going to kill you one of these days,” Iani hissed as he fingered a particularly deep bite mark on his shoulder. Tetsu grinned and kissed the aforementioned mark before darting back from Iani's hand. “Admit it Iani,” he teased,”You love me don't you?”
Iani growled and pushed past Tetsu into the club without another word and promptly bumped into someone, knocking them both to the ground. “Watch it,” Iani snarled and looked over at the man who had sent him tumbling.
It was an older man in his mid-twenties and he looked like an older version of Tetsu. “Oh crap,” Iani muttered,”you're Tatsunosuke aren't you?” The older man nodded and Iani bowed, pressing his head low to the ground. “Sorry about that. I was just trying to get away from your pervert of a brother.”
Tetsu came out of nowhere and grinned at his brother. “I'd like you to meet my best friend Iani. He's a real sweetie so tell Susumu to be nicer.” Souji darted back to Iani and Tetsu's side and he tugged the two boys further into the club. “I want you to meet my boyfriend.”
Sitting in a smoky office in the upstairs of the club was a huge man dressed in all black. He was rather intimidating and fierce looking and the way his passed over Iani's slim form was calculating.
“Who the hell're you?” He snarled. Resisting the urge to snarl back, Iani smiled as realistically has he could. “I'm Iani, one of Souji-kun's classmates. It's a pleasure to meet you.”
The older man grunted softly and took a puff off of his cigarette. “Whatever.” Iani growled and started for him.
“Be nice Toshi.” Suddenly, the older man found himself with a lapful of Souji and the cheerful teenager whined at him. “He's really sweet and he's a really good friend.” No one could resist Souji when he was in one of his moods, and this Toshi was no exception.
“Fine brat,” he muttered affectionately over Souji's head,”I'm Toshizo Hijikata, the owner of this club.” Iani rolled his eyes and snorted,”No duh genius. I figured that out already.”
Iani might have been beautiful, but blessed with common sense he was not. He yelped and ducked as a heavy paperweight flew towards him. “Hah you missed!” Tetsu dragged him out of the office before Hijikata could strangle him or worse.
“Are you insane?” Tetsu hissed,”Do you know who Hijikata is?” Iani shook his head and eased himself into an empty booth. “Nah, but I figure that if Souji can distract him , then I can avoid dying prematurely.”
“You're an idiot. You know that right?”

1.The whole Harajuku scene is dedicated to the lovely kyo-nezumi. She's is a huge Diru fan and I love her so much.
Author's Notes: I don't have a beta and for the moment, I don't think I need one. Please review. The next chapter will have the promised lemon scene with Hijikata and Souji. That should be done by next week depending on school work and stuff. Keep an eye out for my Weiss Kreuz Side B PWP. It's really cute is a weird kind of way.
