Author's note: This is my first attempt at a peach girl fanfic. I love the Momo + Kiley pairing.

Chapter 1 What a First Kiss Can Do

The two held each other in a slow dance. Momo was happy, now she had everything she had ever wanted Toji loved her and now he was her boyfriend. Nothing could go wrong now. They held each other close as the song came to an end Toji leaned in for a kiss. Momo tilted her head to meet his lips and they kissed a soft affectionate kiss. As Momo closed her eyes she felt… nothing spectacular no fireworks no small explosion nothing.

As the dance continued she tried her best to avoid a situation where she might have to kiss him again, she felt to awkward and guilty. All she could think about was how disappointing that kiss had been. "Is something wrong?" Toji asked. She looked up at him a little startled "NO what would make you say that?" She answered. "You seem distant. Why?" He looked rather concerned. Afraid to upset him she tried to think up something `I really don't know what's bothering me. I should tell him something so he doesn't worry.' "Oh nothing I was just thinking of that big math test that's coming up. I don't know if I'll pass." She tried to pass off a cute little smile to reassure him. "You'll do fine. If you want I can help you." He said hugging her. "Thanks." She said giving him a kiss on the cheek "Your wonderful Toji." She said this almost in a manner as if to convince herself of it. `He is everything I ever wanted, right? He has to be Toji is the only one I have ever wanted to be with, right?'

The dance had ended it was getting very late. Toji escorted Momo back to her house. Once at the entrance Momo smiled at Toji "Goodnight I'll see you later." She smiled and bowed her head "thanks for a wonderful evening" she added. "Your welcome goodnight Momo." He said as he leaned in for his goodnight kiss.

Momo noticed this attempt and tried to steer clear of his lips. She fumbled around with the door trying to open it but life has a funny way of making your door impossible to open at the most inopportune moments.

Not noticing her attempt at a great escape Toji caught her in a tight embrace and not only kissed her but was actually bold enough to shove his tongue down her throat. All she could think was `oh my god. He did not, that was so gross. How could he have the nerve to do that.' Momo pushed herself away with some effort. Toji didn't seem to mind. He winked at her and said goodnight again. Momo scrambled to get into the house.

Once in her room her head was spinning. `What is bothering me so much' she touched her lips. `That kiss. In fact all of his kisses, I don't know why I never really noticed it but they don't feel the same.'

She thought back to her first kiss with Kiley that had been her first kiss ever. And even though she would never in a million years admit this to anyone and despite the fact that he was a stupid pumpkin she had felt sparks like an explosion. `But why with Kiley? Is that just how a first kiss is or was it him? Do I have feeling for Kiley? Is that why it feels so odd to have Toji Kiss me? Oh god what am I going to do? I need answers but how will I get them?'

Momo had been lying on her bed for about an hour now not knowing what to do. It was very late now but lucky for her she didn't have school the next day.

`Maybe if I take a shower I'll feel better.' She got up and walked to the bathroom. There was a note taped to the door. It read

Momo Darling I hope you had fun at the dance. I have to work late tomorrow I wanted to let you know I didn't think you would be up in the morning for me to tell you. And that friend of yours Kiley called he asked if you would call him as soon as you came home. I figured this would be the best place to leave a note

It had a smiley face on it Momo laughed to herself. ` I guess it was a good place to put it. She glanced at the clock it was about 3:40 in the morning. `Should I call Kiley back or just wait till tomorrow?' She walked over to the phone and dialed after a few rings she felt very guilty she didn't want to wake anyone else up. She was just about to give up when she heard it pick up.

"Hello" came a deep voice. "I'm sorry it's so late Is Kiley there?" Momo said apologetically. "Momo" the voice sounded much more awake and familiar. "It's me I didn't think I was going to hear from you." "Sorry I just found the note." She laughed a little telling him where it was. "How did your date go?" He asked. "Can I talk to you tomorrow about that I have something to ask you can you come over as soon as you can tomorrow?" She asked sounding almost nervous `why am I nervous?' "Sure anything for my sweetie. I'll see my lovely peach in the morning. Goodnight Momo." He said "Goodnight Kiley." She hung up the phone and hopped into the shower.

`What am I planning on talking to him about. The question just slipped out.'

She seemed to realize something `I know it will be a test. I'll figure things out tomorrow.' She closed her eyes and surrendered to dream land.

She didn't regain consciousness until a certain little pumpkin head entered her room with a tray full of breakfast foods. "Kiley" She asked confused. "How did you get in here?" "Your mom let me in before she left for work. She said if I was hungry I could help myself." He motioned at the food. "So is all that for you?" She asked with a smile. "I suppose you can have some for a price." He smiled wickedly. "What price?" Momo raised an eyebrow and a pillow to throw depending on how bad it was.

"I want a Kiss." He said with a more playful smile on his face. "What do you say a kiss for a most magnificent breakfast?" He had set the tray down.

"Alright." Momo said. `I have to know was it him or just because it was my first kiss?'

"What?" He looked so shocked. If he hadn't set the tray down it would be on the floor. "I I didn't think you would accept." He was blushing.

"Kiley you are my best friend and I need you to do something for me. When I kiss Toji I don't feel that special something not like when, well when you kissed me. I need to know if it's you I feel for or if it was just because it was my first kiss." She looked down at her blanket blushing a deep shade of red. `I can't believe I just asked him that. What will he think of me?'

There was a good five minutes of silence. Kiley stood there stunned all he could think was `I still have a chance. She might still want me. So much ridding on this one kiss I have to make it special.'

"Yes Momo I'll do it." He said it in almost a breathless whisper.

Momo didn't know what else to say but "Thank you Kiley."

She motioned for him to come to her on the bed. He sat down next to her. `Her bed is so soft I never imagined it would be this comfortable'

"Are you ready?" She asked obviously nervous. "I was born ready for you Momo my sweet."

The pair closed their eyes and started to move closer to each other. Momo was just centimeters from his lips when her eyes snapped open. She suddenly realized `I can't do this right now.' She jumped off the bed. Poor Kiley sat there looking dumb founded. `What did I do wrong?' was all he could think. "Momo are you alright?" He called to her nervously. She had run into the bathroom. `What if the thought of kissing me made her puke?' Kiley got up to go investigate.

"Momo I understand if you don't want to do this. I'll give you some breakfast anyway I don't want you to do anything you'll regret." He was standing by the bathroom door. Momo emerged. "I'm sorry it's not you." She started to say, "It was just." Kiley interrupted by saying "I know you love Toji to much."

"Please don't mention him today. And that's not it at all. It was just that" She looked a little embarrassed. "I had to brush my teeth." She flashed him an amazing smile.

He felt so relieved. "Oh thank goodness I thought I made you…" Momo moving closer to him interrupted him.

He lowered his head to meet hers. She kissed him passionately on the lips. He felt fireworks for sure.

Momo thought to herself as she kissed him `this feels….
