[ Y - Young Adult: Not suitable for readers under 16 ]
Well, this is my first fic, but not really. This is first fic I've ever written, but I wrote it about a year ago and have posted it on two other fanfiction websites, so with that I hope you enjoy it. R&R people, R&R.
Disclaimer: So yeah, you know and I know, I don't even come close to owning these wonderful movies.
Sarah Williams sat in her favorite chair reading her most favorite book by candle light once again. It contained every identity of every known pirate and his or her ship they sailed upon. She sighed, and looked out her window to see the dark streets England. You could see every thing from the mansion; not that there was much to look at. At this time of morning every last thing had a gray appearance. Still she loved the view because she could see the very glimpse of the ocean which always brought her back to the very day she met him.
She stood there on the deck of the Royal Lady, she stared out at the sea and loving every moment of it. Her mother was right, being out of the house would make her feel better. Although, Sarah still worried about her mother. Her mother was very ill, her doctors said that her mother was going to be fine; Sarah always knew that they were just lying to her. She knew ever since she heard the doctors outside the door, tell her mother that she only had a few months at best. Then she would be stuck with him. She and her father were never close. Her father just saw her as a profit. A way to gain a higher position other than Governor or a higher position in the East India Trading Company. She knew that her father would of rather had a son. As soon as her mother would, Sarah knew that her father would just end up marrying her off to someone within the East India Trading Company, of high stature of course. Her mother always made excuses for him. They were never that convincing though. A pistol shot shook her from her thoughts. One of the sailors fell over dead. Sarah looked up to see him. A pirate. He looked around and stopped and looked directly at her. He walked over and held the pistol at her temple.
”Now, now gentlemen, I don't want to have'ta hurt her. So go find your captain and we'll make an accord. Savvy?” The pirate proposed, well demanded. They all nodded and went to the captain's quarters.
”If you killed me now you'd be doing something good.” Sarah said making small talk with the pirate, unfazed by the fact that she was a hostage.
”How `tis that love?” He asked.
”My mother is near death, and I have to live with my father who only sees me as a profit so killing would bring me happiness.” She said flatly.
”I'm sorry to hear that love.” He said comfortingly. She begin to laugh, it was a little strange to the pirate, usually his barter chip is deathly afraid of him.
”What so funny?” He was a little annoyed that she wasn't afraid of him.
”I always hoped to meet a pirate. And now I have I never really thought that I would actually meet one.” She explained through her laughs.” But truly killing me wouldn't be all that bad.”
”How about I don't kill you and if you canfind me I'll save you from your father.” He whispered to Sarah.
”Y-you promise?” She stuttered.
”Aye love, aye.” He said sweetly.
A loud knock brought Sarah back to reality. It was her chamber maid Alice. Alice was her best friend. Well, second to Elizabeth, but since her father became Governor of Port Royal and moved. She and Alice became very close.
”Sarah, you're not reading it again? Do you know what your father would do if he found that!” Alice scolded.
”Yes, well Lord Beckett is coming by today and I heard that he's going to the Caribbean fix some sort of problem at one of the ports so I'm going to see if I can go with him.” She said sighed, with a hint of sadness. Knowing she'll have to leave her friend.
”Oh…well be safe.” Alice spoke with great sadness.
”I will miss you greatly, please take care.” Sarah said and hugged her friend.
A/N: Ah, well that's the first chapter, I hoped you enjoyed it.Yeah I know it's kinda short, but hey….it gets longer!:)
