Machoke grunted as he strained against the other Pokemon, trying to hold the Kingler back. He could hear his Trainer shouting in the background, but the words blurred in his ears. Without warning, the large crab spat a stream of bubbles out into his face, blinding him for a second.

He could not let go. Otherwise, he would lose.

An idea came to mind, and he loosened his grip slightly. As expected, the Kingler charged forward, and that was when he flung them both to the side, using Submission. The other Pokemon took most of the damage, his shell cracking against the ground as they tumbled down.

“No!” The swimmer shouted.

He shuddered. His muscles ached painfully from the blow, but one glance was enough to tell that his opponent would not be getting up.

“Good work, Machoke,” His Trainer grinned, stepping up to collect his prize money. He simply slumped down, before being recalled to his Poke Ball.

Victory…
