Yami: So, anything interesting going on in this chapter? Does Kaiba get the honor of crashing into a tree again?

Meira: *scrolls down* Erm… not in this chapter…

Yami: Then what does happen? After all, you did write this chapter already.

Meira: *dryly* Yeah, I also had writer's block, but I'm trying to get this story finished, but I can never find a good place to cut it off…

Yami: Well, stop this convo so I can read this chapter!

~~Yugi's POV~~

"Prepare for Trouble!"

"And Make it Double!"

"To Protect the World from Devastation!"

"To Unite all Peoples Within Our Nation!"

"To Denounce the Evils of Truth and Love!"

"To Extend our Reach to the Stars Above!"

"Jessie!"

"James!"

"Team Rocket Blasts off at the Speed of Light!"

"Surrender Now or Prepare to Fight!"

"Meowth, that's right!"

[Meira: I don't think that Wobbuffet is quite here yet… this is directly after the Orange Islands.]

"Team Rocket!" Ash, Misty, and Tracey said in unison.

There was a woman with pink hair, a man with blue hair, and some strange cat.

"Who?" I asked, confused, looking over at Kaiba.

Kaiba's expression hadn't changed at all.

"You insolent little twerp, how could you not know who we are?" the girl screamed, looking furious. "We are Team Rocket!"

"Come again?" I said, still confused.

"TEAM ROCKET!" the man yelled.

"They're a group of Pokémon thieves who will do anything to steal rare Pokémon," Misty explained.

"Oh…" I said. "You mean like those weird guys on Fear Factor who will do anything for the grand prize?"

Everybody except Kaiba stared blankly at me.

"Never mind," I muttered, remembering that they weren't from the same world.

"Forget about that!" the cat yelled. Strange… a talking cat. "Now, let's get Pikachu!"

"Right," the man and woman replied. What did they say their names were in that weird chant, Jessie and James?

"Run!" Ash shouted.

We all started running, though I was sure that Kaiba and I had no idea why we actually were running.

We ran farther, that Team Rocket chasing after us in some balloon with that cat on it.

"We're headed for the gorge!" Ash yelled.

~~Kaiba's POV~~

"Where?" I shouted.

I couldn't believe that I was running with these… people!

This wasn't what Seto Kaiba would do. After all, I had my dignity and pride to maintain! This just wasn't right!

"The most dangerous part near Pallet!" Ash shouted. "Mom always warned me not to play around here because it was too dangerous!"

"Then why aren't we running another way?" Misty demanded.

"Because Team Rocket is chasing after us this way!" Ash yelled. "And they're starting to throw bombs at us too!"

"Don't they realize that somebody could get hurt?" Yugi yelled. I stared at him. Could he ever stop being… him?

"I don't think they care!" Tracey yelled.

"Mind you, they did help us back in the Orange Islands," Ash shouted.

"Yeah, you and Melody!" Misty yelled.

I had no idea what they were talking about, and I doubted Yugi did either.

A gust of wind picked up, and blew off Ash's hat.

"My hat!" Ash shouted.

"I got it!" Yugi yelled, running faster towards it.

"Yugi!" Ash yelled. "You're too close to the edge!"

Yugi didn't hear him.

"Got it!" Yugi shouted, snatching it out of the air.

He was too close to the edge.

He teetered at the edge for a second, then the cliff collapsed.

He fell down with it.

~~Yugi's POV~~

I couldn't believe that I had been so stupid! How could I have been so careless… and just fall off like that?

It didn't matter anymore… I already had.

"Bulbasaur!" Ash shouted. "Vine Whip!"

"Bulbasaur!" something yelled.

Two green vines shout out.

Clearly they were trying to get me back up.

The vines missed by an inch.

I continued to plunge downwards.

This time, I was sure that nobody could save me.

Yami: *shakes head* No wonder you upped the rating, I can't believe that you actually did that.

Meira: It was crucial to my plot…

Yami: That was despicable.

Meira: *sniffles* I'm horrible…

Meira: All of you who disagree with Yami, please tell him so. I had to do this in order to do something else later in the story.

Yami: You could start off by reviving Yugi.

Meira: I promise that I will make it up to all of you!
