Celebi's little hunt for the strong psychic force continued all through the night. She gazed at a nearby bank clock in Celadon City. It read 1:34 AM. Celebi yawned a little and looked up to the sky. "I wish I could find out where the force is coming from..." Celebi decided to take a shortcut through the woods to get back to her nook, but then, something fell on her head. "Ouch! What the?" She saw that she was holding an egg in her hands. "Oh, my gosh! It's an unhatched egg!" She also sensed that it was the psychic force that was pulling her. "I need to show this to Mewtwo!" she exclaimed as she flew off.

Back at the nook a little later, Mewtwo was examining the egg with his ESP. "Well, what can you see?" "I don't know, Celebi. To me, this egg looks like it must have been dropped. I can't make out what it is..." Celebi looked at the egg some more. "But, it has a strong force of psychic energy." "And that's what confuses me." Mewtwo looked closely. "Do you think this egg came out of nowhere?" "Like how?" Celebi asked. "I mean, did you happen to find this egg?" "Duh, Mewtwo. It fell into my hands." "No, I mean you're a pokémon that finds eggs through time." "Oh! You mean the psychic power thing. No, I didn't find it that way..."

"Well, surely this egg didn't fall from the sky!" Celebi chuckled a little, and yawned. "Mewtwo, it's been a long night. Let's get some sleep." "I was just thinking that..." With that, the two went to get some sleep. The egg seemed to glow a little after they fell asleep.

Meanwhile, Mew and Jirachi resurfaced the next morning. "It's the last day, Jirachi..." Jirachi smiled at Mew, and they flew off. Little do they know, Celebi is on her flying route. Celebi glanced at the oncoming pokémon. "Is that...Mew??" Celebi stopped as Mew and Jirachi arrive. "Hello...Mew..." Mew glared at Celebi a little after their little confrontation. "What?" asked Celebi with a confused look on her face. "Don't 'What' me. What are you doing?" "Well, I was just flying by. By the way, do you know anyone leaving eggs behind?" Mew and Jirachi looked at each other puzzled. "Umm, no, Celebi," Jirachi replied. "Oh...Well, if you spot any, let me know." "Oh, yeah, right. Is there something else you want, Celebi?"

Celebi turned a little. "Umm...what?" "Are you hiding something?" "What? That's crazy, Mew..." "Are you hiding something, Celebi?" Mew began to get a little close to Celebi. "Mew..." Mew didn't listen to Jirachi. She just got into the forest sprite's face. "Well?" "Mew...I have nothing to hide!" "Little liar!" Mew then slapped Celebi in the face. "Mew! What are you doing??" Mew proceeded to try beating the answer out of Celebi. "What did I do to you, Mew??" "I'll forgive for that night, but if you don't tell me what you're hiding, you're going to wish I was never born!" Jirachi then tried to pull Mew off of Celebi. "Jirachi! This is between me and Celebi!" "Mew, please! She's got nothing to hide, so let's leave her be!"

"Jirachi! Let me go!" Celebi used this time to kick Mew off of her, knocking her and Jirachi down. "What the hell do I do to you?!" "TELL ME YOUR FUCKING SECRET, YOU LITTLE FOREST FUCK!" "ALRIGHT! If you makes you happy, I wanted to wish Jirachi good luck when he leaves! Are you happy now?!" Mew just snarled at Celebi, and took Jirachi away. "Mew, since when did you get so hostile?" "You don't understand, Jirachi! I've been having problems for some time now!" "Mew, calm down..." "I'M NOT GONNA CALM DOWN!!" Jirachi saw that look of rage in her eyes, and felt very scared. "Mew...I've never seen you like this before..." Mew suddenly felt herself fall to pieces. "Oh, Jirachi!" She then buried her face in his chest.

"Mood swings, Mew. Give it time, and they will go away. I assure you..." Mew sniffled and gazed into the pokémon's eyes. "Jirachi, it's not this normal..." Jirachi scratched his head. "Mew? What are you trying to say?" Mew bowed her head in shame. "Mew??" "Jirachi..." Jirachi gazed into her tear filled eyes, awaiting her reply. "...I'm pregnant..." Jirachi's eyes went to shock. "What?? When did this happen?!" "Jirachi, this happened because of our love. I want to have your child..." Jirachi smiled a little. "...Mew...I love you..." They shared a warm embrace.

As for Celebi, she just recieved a shocking revelation, and flew back to the nook...

Later, Celebi finally arrived. "Celebi, you look hurt!" "It's ok, Mewtwo, just a flesh wound..." Mewtwo saw the look in her eyes. "Celebi...is something wrong?" "...Oh, nothing at all!" "Celebi..." Mewtwo took her hands. "Mewtwo...it's about Mew..." Mewtwo then glanced at Celebi. "What about her?" "...She's pregnant..." "Is that right?" "I heard it..." Mewtwo and Celebi then turned their attention to the egg Celebi found. "Mewtwo...do you think this egg has something to do with Mew?" "I'm not sure, Celebi... We'll have to wait and see..."
