Amy's Pokémon journey

Chapter 2

Narrator: Last time we saw Amy get her very first pokémon, a Vulpix. She also caught a Rattata. Today she is still wondering around in the Viridian Forest, looking for more pokémon and the way out of the forest.

Amy frowned as she looked around, "Now where are we?" she asked the surrounding trees.

Vulpix looked up at Amy, "Vul."

Amy eyed her pokémon, "I know we are here… But where is here?"

Vulpix glanced at Rattata, who looked around and walked towards an opening between two trees.

`Is that the way that will lead to Pewter City?" Amy asked hopefully as she rushed forward.

When Amy looked between and past the trees she saw the path out of the forest.

Amy sweatdropped before smacking her forehead with her hand, "Duh, I forgot there were paths in this stupid forest." She said and walked onto the path, "Come on Vulpix." She called to Vulpix who was eyeing Rattata.

"Vulpix!" Vulpix said as she ran hurried over to Amy's side.

Amy smiled at her pokémon and continued down the path towards Pewter City.

A silent cloaked figure watched the girl and her pokémon from the shadows of a tree next to the path. Within the shadows of the hood the mouth of the figure curved into a smile. Once the girl was almost out of sight the figure jumped out of the tree and started trailing the girl at a distance.

Amy stopped walking for a moment as she got the sudden sensation that she was being followed, she whipped around to try and catch anyone that might be following her, but to no avail. She tilted her head in confusion, "Must be my imagination…" she murmured to herself before shrugging and continuing down the path.

Vulpix glanced over her shoulder and blinked as she saw a figure shadowing them. "Vul!" she said trying to get Amy's attention.

Amy looked down at Vulpix but continued walking, "What now Vulpix? Your not hungry are you, cause you can wait till we get to Pewter City, after all we are almost there."

Vulpix sighed inwardly before looking over her shoulder again to see that the figure wasn't visible anymore. She shrugged and just continued following her trainer.

The silent figure stood behind a tree in holding their breath for a few moments. The figure pulled back its hood to reveal a young woman with short spiky blue hair and looked around the tree to see the girl and pokémon just disappearing from view.

"I thought I was going to be caught for a second there." She said with a relieved sigh before jumping into the tree she was hiding behind and agily jumped from tree to tree to continue following the girl.

Amy beamed happily as Pewter City came into view, "There it is Vulpix, Rattata!" she said and sped up into a run to get there sooner.

Vulpix and Rattata glanced at each other and sweatdropped before following Amy.

"I wonder where we should go first…" Amy wondered aloud, "Hmm, mom told me that the Pewter Gym leader's pokémon are mainly rock types…" she said and glanced at Vulpix and Rattata before sweatdropping, "I think I may need to catch another pokémon or two that are effective against rock types."

Vulpix snorted indignantly at her trainer.

Amy smiled sheepishly at Vulpix, "Sorry, didn't mean to offend you." She said as she knelt down and petted Vulpix's head.

The cloaked blue haired girl watched from the roof of a nearby building as Amy started to walk into the city to explore.

"Hmm… A more effective pokémon, eh?" she murmured to herself and grinned before jumping off the building and entering a nearby building.

Words from author: Okay, so I haven't gotten anyone saying they would like to see a second part to this story, but since I was bored, I decided to write it anyway, and it may be a little shorter that the first chapter, but I'll try to have more in the next chapter. Muahahaha, anyway, You'll just have to wait and see to see who the young lady is. ;p
