Ash and Misty smiled happily when they arrived at the beach town earlier that usual. It was unusual for them to be ahead of schedule.
"Why don't we pick a good hotel?" Brock suggested. "We got here early, so we used less of food money."
Misty just stared at the sunset with a "how romantic" look on her face. "I have a better idea! Why don't we sleep under the stars?! It's so beautiful tonight!"
"I guess Ash is the deciding vote!" Misty grinned, giving Ash a sweet look.
"Well, it does look nice out and we could take a rest tomorrow with the extra money..." Ash mumbled.
Misty practically exploded in delight as she grabbed Ash by the arm, twirling him around.
"This is going to be so rom- beautiful!" Misty cried happily.
Brock grinned at Misty's correction, and he could see her face turn red as she saw her sly smile.
"Misty, what are you talking about?" Ash asked, looking very confused.
"Nothing!" Misty said quickly. "Let's set up camp so we can get some shopping done!"
Ash and Brock groaned, but they made no objections. They wanted to keep Misty in her good mood.
As soon as the trio returned to the beach with some new clothes for Misty, they were all ready to relax on the beach. Misty and Brock were all too tired to go swimming, but Ash still wanted to play in the water, but Brock objected. He didn't want Ash to be swimming alone with his record of drownings.
Instead, Ash decided to make something in the sand. Pikachu was chasing some Krabby around the beach. The Krabby didn't seem to mind as Pikachu's hunt of them was good-natured. Pikachu didn't pose a danger to their kind.
Meanwhile, Brock had run off to look for girls. He was using the "suntan lotion" routine. Unfortunately, he didn't consider the fact that it was dark out.
Misty was alone with Ash, and the fact didn't go unnoticed.
"Hey, Ash, do you want to go for a walk?" Misty asked, blushing furiously at the thought of her and Ash walking in the dark beach.
Ash leapt to his feet, excited at the prospect of something to do. "Okay! Let's go!"
"Really?!" Misty asked, losing her composure.
Surprised at Misty's outburst, Ash just nodded silently.
Misty grabbed Ash's hand and pulled him towards the seaside. "We can see the water better this way!" Misty said bossily.
"O-okay.." Ash said nervously.
Misty suddenly realized what she was doing before she suddenly released Ash's hand.
They walked along the beach for fifteen minutes, and Ash was silent the whole way. Ash's unusual silence frustrated Misty.
"Why aren't you saying anything?!" Misty yelled. She didn't want her romantic moment to go by without him saying a word.
"I..I was just looking at the moon..." Ash blurted out, without thinking about how un-macho he sounded like.
Misty gasped at this statement. If she didn't know any better, Ash sounded almost insightful.
"Why?"
"It reminded me of something..." Ash stopped, feeling sick at the pit of his stomach. He didn't know what the moon reminded him of.
He only felt a sinister premonition.
"What did it remind you of?" Misty asked, confused at Ash's look of seriousness.
"Nothing." Ash said quietly in a tone that left no room for further conversation.
Misty sighed as she started walking again.
The waves became louder and louder, and the air started to grow colder and colder.
"Let's turn back..." Misty suggested. Her hand shook. She wanted to feel the warmth of Ash's hand in the coldness.
Ash's eyes were lost in thought, but he barely nodded and turned around.
Misty slowly caught up with him and grabbed Ash's hand.
The small boy stopped walking and turned to Misty, looking very confused. "Misty...what...?" he stuttered, stepping away from her.
"Ash...I..I love you..." Misty whispered. Her hand reached for Ash's face. The small boy didn't resist, but he didn't accept the affectionate gesture either. His face was pale. He didn't even blink.
"Misty...I..just...friends..I...I thought..." Ash stammered softly.
Misty's stroked his hair, with a smile on her face. "You're really cute..." she whispered.
Ash finally found the right words. "Misty, I don't like you that way!"
Misty's eyes widened slightly at this. "You...don't mean that" she whispered, with tears rolling down her cheeks.
"Misty.." Ash whispered, feeling nervous about Misty's tears. Misty never cried. "I-I'm sorry...I just...I just want to be friends..."
"You...You..." Misty whispered, her eyes narrowing in anger. "You led me on! Didn't you?!" She grabbed Ash's arm, and started shaking the small boy with every word she spoke.
"Stop it, Misty!" Ash cried, feeling scared at Misty's violent reaction.
"This is another one of your stupid jokes isn't it?! Isn't it?!" Misty yelled. She struck Ash hard across the face, causing him to cry out.
"Please...Misty...Stop.." Ash begged, trying to get away.
Misty ignored Ash as she hit him across the face again. "Well I'm going to make you pay for everything you've done to me with interest!"
She pulled Ash up into a long and brutal kiss. Ash tried to scream, but Misty only kissed him harder.
When Misty was done, Ash started to cry.
"Is something the matter?" Misty asked in mock concern.
"I hate you!" Ash screamed in anger.
"You think I care?" Misty snorted, picking Ash up from the ground. She was surprised that he wasn't struggling. Misty could tell from his eyes that he was too shocked to move.
The beach was deserted, because the sun had already set. Misty walked slowly and carefully, because it was too dark to see anything. Her feet were bare and she didn't want to step on any rocks.
She had to put Ash someplace where nobody would find him.
She suddenly remembered the small cave that was under the cliff of rocks that overlooked the beach. It didn't look like much, but it would do for the night. She knew that she had to go back to Brock, so he wouldn't connect her to Ash's disappearance in any way.
She threw Ash down on the ground and pinned him down on the ground with her body. Ash screamed and started to struggle, but Misty was stronger than him. She easily bound his wrists and ankles.
"Brock and Pikachu will find me!" Ash cried out, trying unsuccessfully not to betray how terrified he felt.
Misty laughed and tore off Ash's jacket.
"Not if they think you're dead." She whispered, snatching Ash's hat.
"Misty...please don't do this..." Ash begged, trying to reason with Misty.
"Will you shut up?!" Misty howled, slapping Ash in the face. She growled and tore a strip of cloth from Ash's jacket and gagged him with it.
Misty took out a knife and held it up for Ash to see. Ash's eyes widened as he tried to scream. "Now this is going to hurt a little....but we have to make this look convincing..."
Misty scraped the knife across Ash's upper arm. She rubbed Ash's jacket across the wound so that the blood would cover the jacket.
Misty tore up Ash's hat and jacket, and smiled at Ash, who started to cry. "Ash...I'm only giving you what's coming to you. Don't cry..." Misty hissed into his ear.
She dragged Ash between two large rocks and tied Ash to the larger one, while tying his ankles to another one.
Ash struggled to free himself, angering Misty, who watched in amusement. She grabbed one of Ash's arms and twisted it, until she heard a cracking sound.
Ash's eyes widened as he screamed in pain. He could feel his vision growing blurry.
"Misty...stop.." he tried to murmur through the gag, feeling delirious. "You don't want to do this..."
She kissed him again before everything went black.
Misty grinned and walked out of the cave with Ash's hat and jacket safely hidden in her backpack.
It was a long walk back to the spot on the beach that they had all chosen to camp out in, but Misty took her time. She could always say that she was out looking for Ash.
A boy about a year older than her ran by and whistled at her. Misty smiled and waved. She giggled when a few adults looked on disapprovingly on their way home. Her smile widened when she thought about Ash and what she was going to do to him when she got back that night.
When she reached the beach, Brock looked slightly relieved. He had been waiting for hours. "Where's Ash?" he asked softly, when he saw that he wasn't with her.
Misty lowered her head and willed herself to cry. It was easy to do. Acting came natural to her. "He's gone! I've looked all over for him and he's gone!" Misty wailed.
Brock rushed to her and hugged her in an attempt to comfort her. "We'll find him. He probably just wandered off. You know how he is..." Brock said, trying to sound confident, even though his voice shook.
"Maybe you're right..." Misty sniffed.
Misty and Brock searched for Ash for two hours before Misty conveniently led them to where she had hidden Ash's hat and jacket.
When Brock had found Ash's favorite clothes torn and covered in blood, her reacted just as she predicted. His body turned stiff as he opened his mouth in a silent scream of horror.
After Brock got over his shock, he fell to his knees and cried, his whole body shaking with every sob. He gathered the clothes up in his hands and turned them over in his hands, inspecting every rip that was coated with blood.
"C-call the police..." he ordered Misty, sobbing.
Misty turned away with a smile on her face as she ran to the police station. They would never find him where she was taking him.
"Wake up!" Misty commanded, slapping Ash across the face. The small boy opened his eyes and shuddered when he saw Misty standing over him. He hoped that everything that had just happened was a nightmare, but the reality of the situation was obvious. He felt a burning pain from his broken arm and he could tell that his ankles were badly sprained from being tied so roughly.
Ash looked up at Misty trying to look defiant. He didn't want to give her the satisfaction of seeing him crying.
Misty calmly kneeled down and untied his ankles. "Are you thirsty?" Misty asked with malicious smile.
Ash turned away glaring.
Misty seemed to ignore his reaction as she pulled the gag from Ash's mouth. She held up a bottle of water to Ash's mouth.
Ash shuddered and drank it hesitantly. He barely acknowledged the fact that Misty was playing with his hair as he drank. His mouth had felt dry from the gag, and the water felt too refreshing to refuse.
When the bottle was half empty, Misty pulled it away. Ash let out a soft gasp while Misty untied him from the rock. "Not until we get away." Misty promised, pulling Ash to his feet.
Ash cried out from the flash of pain that suddenly shot up from his sprained ankle.
Misty slapped him across the face for crying out. "Walk and don't say a word." Misty commanded.
"You're not like this..." Ash whispered. "W-We're friends..."
Misty backhanded him on the other side of the face hard enough to send him to the ground. She put a washcloth in Ash's mouth and scooped him up from the ground. The small boy started to cry as he struggled to breath.
"Then you don't know me." Misty said with an evil smile.
Ash was silent for the rest of the way as Misty carried him deeper into the cave so they could leave on the other side. Misty grinned when she reached the deepest part of the forest that had a cottage that she had recognized. She and Brock had passed the abandoned cottage on the way to the beach and they had even spent the night there.
The only furniture in it was a wooden chair, an old bed with a smelly and worn out mattress and a dresser where some kitchen supplies and tools were kept.
She sat Ash down on the chair and tied him to the chair, bounding his ankles to the chair legs so he couldn't move his legs around to escape.
When she was done, she removed Ash's gag and gave him the rest of the water. "You hungry?" she asked when he was done.
Ash nodded hesitantly with tears in his eyes. Misty grinned when she saw how meek and submissive he was. He could barely look her in the eyes.
"I'll bring you back something after I talk to Brock." Misty said, turning around to leave.
"Misty!" Ash cried out. "Brock's gonna find out! He'll make you pay for this!"
"Is that so?" Misty asked, crossing her arms in front of her chest. "How?"
Ash gritted his teeth and glared at Misty.
The older girl smiled and walked up to Ash and put a hand on his face. "I wouldn't try to escape if I were you...unless you want Brock to have an unfortunate accident."
Ash's eyes widened in horror as Misty walked out of the room.
"Noo!" Ash cried out, sobbing. "Misty! Stop!"
But nobody heard. The door slammed and he was alone in the dark and dilapidated shack, his soft brown eyes were filled with tears and confusion.
"Brock...I'm sorry..." Ash whispered as he watched the door that Misty had just slammed. He could hear the raindrops beating down on the door, and the soft rumble of thunder in the distance as he waited.
Brock sat in the police station while the police chief called Ash's mother. All he could think about was how he failed to protect Ash. He knew he shouldn't have turned his back on Ash. He knew how dangerous that could be from his experience of raising his younger brothers and sisters.
Brock decided to stay in the police station for the night, and he insisted that Misty stay in the pokemon center nearby. She was too young to deal with something so traumatic. He knew that she blamed herself for Ash's disappearance.
He may have failed in protecting Ash, but he wouldn't fail with Misty.
Misty returned at ten o' clock that night. Her face had broken into a wide grin as she stole the fries from Ash's kids meal. He would have to settle for the chicken nuggets. She was really hungry.
When she opened the door, she could hear soft crying. Ash was still rooted to the spot that she had left him.
Misty took out the chicken nuggets and put them on Ash's lap.
"See. I kept my promise. Here's dinner."
Ash stopped crying and stared at her with red eyes.
"Here, I'll help you!" Misty said cheerfully in a childish voice that scared Ash. She sounded like a five year old.
She held up a chicken nugget to the boy's mouth, urging him to eat it. Ash hesitated and took the food, chewing it slowly. He could feel energy returning to his tired jaws as he reveled in the taste of the food.
Ash ate the rest of the chicken nuggets with the same slow pace until Misty gave him a sip of water.
"Are you tired?" Misty asked again in the same childish voice. She didn't even give Ash time to answer as she started untying him.
Ash felt hopeful. It would be easier to overpower Misty and escape if he was untied. He knew that she was stronger than him, and had a lot more energy than him, but he counted on adrenaline. He half hoped that Misty wouldn't even need to be overpowered in her insane condition. Misty's eyes had a faraway look that showed that she completely mad.
When Misty was done, Ash tried to push Misty down. The girl made a growling, animalistic sound from the back of her throat, grabbing Ash by his wrists and pinning him down on the ground.
Ash's eyes widened in horror as he struggled to free himself from Misty's rough grip. She kissed him hard, forcing her tongue into his throat. Ash tried to scream, but his cries were muffled.
Misty picked up Ash and threw him on the bed, nearly knocking out his breath. She grabbed Ash's arms and tied them to the head of the bed.
"You're mine!" Misty howled. She moved her hands up and down Ash's body.
Ash was stiff in shock. He knew what was happening but he couldn't accept it. "No..." he whispered softly, shuddering.
"Quiet..." Misty whispered, caressing his face. Her index finger teasingly moved underneath the waistband of Ash's jeans. "Do you want more?" she asked, playing with Ash's hair, which fell limply on his shoulders instead of their usual spikes.
Ash tried to lash out, but Misty slapped him hard enough to blur his vision. "Stop it!" she screamed, forcing a dirty rag into his mouth. She put a piece of duct tape over his mouth so he couldn't spit out the gag.
Tears ran down Ash's cheeks as he struggled to breath. He tried to concentrate on breathing through his nose but he felt too dizzy and lightheaded to focus.
Misty watched his struggles to breath for a moment before moving her hand underneath his black shirt. She ran her hands over his chest before she slowly tore open his shirt.
Ash let out a muffled scream when Misty started to bite his chest.
"You like this." Misty smiled. Her hands slipped into his jeans as she groped him. She moved her hand up and down his inner thigh, while her index fingers brushed against his shaft.
Tears rolled down Ash's cheeks as her cold hands touched him. He couldn't scream loud enough for anyone to hear him and he couldn't even struggle. One of his arms were broken and it hurt to even move a little.
When Misty removed her hands from Ash's pants, she slapped him again. Ash gave out a muffled cry while Misty smiled. A streak of blood was on Ash's face from where she slapped him.
Misty smiled when she remembered what came next. "This is my favorite part," she stated, licking away Ash's tears. She slowly removed the duct tape from Ash's mouth and pulled out the gag.
Ash gasped and sobbed, but Misty didn't pause in removing his pants and boxers. "It won't hurt if you cooperate." Misty whispered into Ash's ear.
"No!" Ash screamed in a hoarse voice.
"Shhh..." Misty whispered. "I'm just going to do this for a little bit."
"Somebody! HELP!" Ash screamed, sobbing as Misty ripped off his clothes.
Misty slapped him across the face again, forcing his legs apart.
Ash screamed and nearly passed out from pain as Misty forced his hips up.
He shuddered as the world seemed to spin. He could feel blood running down his thighs. His hair was a mess all over his face.
"Help.." he whispered, before everything went black.
"Hello, Brock..." Misty said softly, trying to muster a comforting voice. She couldn't let Brock know about her secret...yet.
"Hi.." Brock whispered back with slumped shoulders.
"Any news on Ash?" Misty asked, trying to hide the gradual smile that was starting to show on her face from the memory of her recent "meeting" with Ash.
"His mother is coming here..." Brock whispered. "They think that Ash...that he's been..." he dissolved into sobs.
Misty suppressed the need to roll her eyes as she rubbed Brock's back when he cried.
"I just on thinking that Ash will just walk in, without a clue about what's going on. I know stuff like that happens...but not to Ash...it can't be Ash.. he's OUR FRIEND."
"Brock...don't be too sad about Ash. He is probably playing around someplace and he simply didn't let us know. You know how stupid he-"
SLAP!
"How could you talk that way about Ash?!" Brock yelled, his knuckles were squeezed hard enough to cause his hands to turn white.
Misty only smiled enigmatically.
"Misty...you..." Brock realized with wide eyes that slowly narrowed in anger.
"Not too loud, Brock....or somebody is going to get hurt...and you wouldn't even know where to find them." Misty said with a calm smile.
"No...Misty.." Brock sobbed, shaking his head softly.
"Give me your pokemon, and I'll lead you to him."
"You'll pay for this!" Brock whispered dangerously.
"Do you want Ash back or not?" Misty hissed.
Brock handed her his pokeballs with tears in his eyes. " If you hurt him in any way-" Brock started.
Misty glared. "You aren't in any position to be making threats!"
Brock followed Misty through the cave. He shuddered when he saw the blood on the ground.
"Unfortunately, Ash wasn't so cooperative when I kidnapped him..." Misty said with a smile.
"you...bitch.." Brock whispered.
Misty just smiled. "Almost there!" She stated in a sweet voice that scared Brock.
After fifteen minutes of walking, they reached a small cottage. Brock shuddered and opened the door, while Misty stood behind him so he wouldn't be able to corner her and take his pokemon back.
Brock let out a soft cry when he saw Ash. Ash's wrists were tied to the head of the bed. His legs were tied so that they were spread-eagled on the bed. Bruises covered his face, and Brock could see that one of his arms was bent oddly. What horrified Brock the most was the fact that Ash was only wearing torn remnants of clothes, which now resembled rags.
The dried blood on his thighs further testified that the boy had been raped.
"...Ash..." Brock whispered tearfully.
Ash's eyes widened suddenly, as Brock stepped forward. He tried to scream, but his mouth was duct taped.
Brock looked confused as Ash struggled and shook his head wildly.
He didn't even see the baseball bat before it smashed his skull.
Misty kneeled down to Brock's prone form and checked his breathing even though Brock's smashed skull showed he was obviously dead. She ignored Ash's gasping and muffled sobs.
"Dead." Misty stated, smiling at Ash, who started to cry louder. Misty sat next to him on the bed and stared at Ash's red and tearstained face.
Her hand massaged the inside of Ash's thigh. "Let's do it..." Misty whispered, peeling the tape off of Ash's mouth.
"kill...me..." Ash begged through tears. His large eyes were red, His broken arm was turning the alarming shades of red and blue from being unable to mend.
"Ash...without Brock..." he hand moved up Ash's thigh and moved up to his chest. "...we can be together..."
Her lips touched his dry and protesting lips.
Ash stopped struggling against the kiss after awhile, and he simply lay still. In the corner of his eye, he could see Brock's unseeing eyes watching him. I'm sorry Brock, he thought with tears in his eyes. Please forgive me...
Ash lay on the cold floor. Misty slept next to him. Her hands were still wrapped around his shoulders.
The boy didn't move. If he woke Misty up, he knew that she would just hurt him again, and he knew that he couldn't move without moving Misty's arms away.
Brock still lay two foot nearby.
He suddenly wanted to run. If he didn't escape then Brock would have died for nothing.
Maybe he could run.
Ash immediately pushed Misty away and started running. Misty woke up quickly, and barely missed the boy's ankles as he opened the door.
Ash dodged her, looking back at Brock, reinforcing his need to escape.
He didn't expect Misty to spring back to her feet so fast as she tackled him right after he stepped outside.
"NOO!" Ash screamed with newfound energy. He punched Misty in the nose, dazing her slightly, but not long enough to avoid a slap and a kick in the ribs.
Suddenly, Misty let out a scream of horror. Ash turned around and saw a police car driving toward them before an officer Jenny stepped out. She pulled Misty off of Ash and handcuffed her, while another officer Jenny stepped out of the car, picking Ash up.
"H-How...?" Ash whispered tearfully.
"You're friend Brock brought a tracker with him..." she said softly. Her eyes filled with tears when she saw Brock laying down on the ground.
"Ash...an ambulance is on the way, okay?" she said softly.
"I...I...I want to go home..."
"Your mother is in town. She'll be there..." Officer Jenny promised as she watched Misty being placed in the back of the police car.
The other officer Jenny brought Ash a blanket from the backseat and wrapped it around him.
Ash burst into tears. He let out loud and gasping sobs as he struggled to get control of his grief. Everything just seemed so wrong.
"Ash!" Delia Ketchum cried out breathlessly when she saw her son laying in the hospital room for internal injuries.
"M-Mom..." Ash whispered as she hugged him. "I...I...want to go home..."
"I understand, honey," she whispered, rocking her son back and forth.
She wanted to cry, but she knew she had to be strong. Ash didn't even understand everything that was done to him. All he could understand was the physical pain that came from the rape. That was more than enough for Ash to handle.
"Mom?" Ash whispered, just as he was about to sleep.
"Yes, dear?"
"Can you close the window?"
Mrs. Ketchum nodded, crying. "Of-Of course..." she murmured, closing the window. She didn't understand why she felt a sense of loss as she did it. It was a feeling of being preoccupied when she knew she shouldn't be.
"Thank you..." Ash said quietly.
He didn't smile.
THE END
Yes, I know I'm gonna get flamed.
