Chapter 1

Crono Yawned as he wen't down the stairs, "Morning... breakfast is ready... your friends, Marle & Lucca were here earlier on... said something about being able to go through different dimentions instead of time..." His mum muttered, Chrono yawned in reply & sat down at the table, started eating his breakfast then sighed, his mum frowned, "Whats the matter with you today?" She asked, Chrono looked up at her, "Just... miss the old times... you know... when I first time travelled... when I first met... marle..." He muttered & became lost in his own thoughts, his mum quietly cursed & poked him, "... your milk is going to go sour..." She said, eventually Chrono snapped out of it & soon finished his breakfast, got changed into his favorite clothing, red & blue baggy clothing, he then put a white band across his head & picked up his sword, ran downstairs, grabbed all his money & ran to Lucca's house.

Lucca whirled round as the door openend, "Hello Chrono! bit late aren't you?" She said, waving to him, he nodded in return, Marle came out of a different room & her eyes lit up as she saw Chrono, she ran at him & floored him, Chrono blinked as he felt the tip of his sword nip against his leg, he then wrapped his arms around her & kissed her cheek, Lucca made a noise to alert the 2 of them, they instantly got up & blushed, "okay... I'm ready... I'm going to see if I can get Robo & Frog... for I've had a small idea... you 2 stay here whilst I, alone go back..." Lucca said, Chrono shrugged a little bit, he had disliked Robo ever since he tried to play a prank on him, Robo decided it would be funny to put quck setting concrete in Chrono's shoes, "Okay! we'll have a great time!" Marle said, sounding her usual happy self.

very soon Lucca returned with Frog & Robo, "Okay! We're ready to go! I'm not sure how many people are supposed to go, but I decided 5 of us will be a good number..." Lucca exclaimed, Chrono nodded in agreement, then he sighed again, the 2nd time in the day, Marle frowned, "What's the matter?" She asked, Chrono looked at her, "I miss the older times... when we first met, the first trip back to 600 AD..." Chrono muttered, Frog looked at him then smiled "You are a great swordsman! thy would enjoy a good joust with thee!" Chrono then smiled, "I guess I'm okay... ah well.. what are we waiting for? let's get going!" Chrono then said, grinning & raising a fist into the air, "Wait... we'd better get fully paked... we don't know where we'll end up... who knows... we might end up in a peace loving dimention... or one that has never been out of war..." Lucca then said, movings her glasses up & down thoughtfully, "Great idea Miss Lucca..." Robo replied, Lucca looked at him, "I said you don't have to give me a formal name... remember?" She said, "Oh... sorry... things get pritty quiet & boring at the end of time... I think I've forgotten some stuff..." He replied, Lucca sighed as she tried to picture what emotion Robo would be expressing on his face if it was possiable, "Okay... we'll only take what we can safly carry... the most important thing... gold..." Marle then said, smiled & kissed Chrono on his cheek, eventually they got their stuff & stood outside the back of Lucca's house, "Okay... here is how it should work... the polarity of the key should............." Lucca said, to Chrono, Marle & Frog non of this made sence or intrest, to Robo, that was a different matter, he seemed to be memorizing every word he could & sitting like a 4 year old child.

after a LONG while Lucca finished, Robo was still excited, Marle had fallen asleep & was leaning against Chrono, Chrono & Frog were buisy playing a game of chess, Frog was winning, "Okay! lets get going!" Lucca then yelled, almost down Chrono's ear, he yelled as he fell backwards off his chair, Frog laughed at him & Marle woke up, mumbling about chocolate, "We are ready to go... get up!" Lucca then yelled, prodding Chrono as he tried to scramble onto his feet, "Okay! I'm ready to go! let's get going!" Chrono then said, they all nodded & Lucca held up the modified 'Gate Key' & pressed some buttons, directly under them a huge disk of light appeared & they fell, soon they re-appeared, Chrono swore as he hit the ground hard, he watched Lucca, Marle & frog appear too, also landing hard, "... here... where is Robo?" Lucca said, getting up & dusting herself, "I don't kno..." Chrono started to say then yelled in pain as Robo appeared & landed ontop of him, "... ow... there... he is..." Chrono then said, raising a arm pethetically to try & show he was okay, after a small while they got everything back together, Frog then turned sharply, "Hide... somebody... or something is coming here..." He said & jumped into a nearby tree, Lucca hid in some bushes, Robo wen't down a ditch & Marle simply dissapeared, not showing where she hid, as this happened Chrono noticed for the first time they we're in a forest, he then heard a bush shaken, turned around & got ready to attack.
