~ * ~

It had only been a day after the attack of the angels and Yukinari and his hunters and the remaining vampires had to clean up a few things around the Tokyo Tower before anything was noticeable on that night of chaos. Because they did not want the humans to be suspicious of what had happened there and surely they would find out that vampires do exists and it would be the end of their world for sure.
But during the day they would disguise themselves as humans and one would not expect them to be a creature of the night preying on humans for their blood for survival. And of course during this day they had set out to find the reincarnation of Suzumi-nigousan, having searched all day long and had sought out information of her and here Shurii had found out that Suzumi was not only the mistress but also the daughter of their noble leader. Even though some did not want to believe it but it was not a lie, for which he had dug into more information about Suzumi and that she had disappeared one day. This had happened over a thousand years ago and he had remembered that day when she disappeared and poor Yukinari was so upset that he locked himself up in his room and wished not to be disturbed. Days had turned into weeks and weeks had turned into months it was now nearly over a month in half when he locked himself up and goodness who knows what Yukinari was doing. His wife had tried to make him come out but still he had refused and now that his daughter was gone there was no happiness in his leader's life anymore.
The hunters had searched for her during the night and it always came up with the same result and they figured that she was gone for good or she was probably dead by now. At that time the girl was only sixteen and that she was Yukinari's most precious thing in his life and he had lost her all too soon. Shurii didn't know why she had run away and why didn't Yukinari remember this at all. He had probably forgotten about it years after he knew that his precious Suzumi wasn't coming back. Then later on he had forgotten that he didn't have a daughter at all and here he was sulking in his room and hoping she would come back.
For almost three years he was lost in his depression of the loss of his daughter and it made his wife feel very uncomfortable when he would not speak at all to any one, not even to her. Of course to the information that his wife had short blonde hair and sapphire blue eyes and younger than Yukinari, she was the mistress of the vampires. She tried many times to comfort him and tell him that it was going to be all right but he would still not speak or do anything at all, he would just sit in his chair and watch the flames dance on the burned wood of the fire place. The Mistress wouldn't take it any longer and she just left him alone and the next day she was gone.

That had made Yukinari feel even worse.

Then things had gone back to the way they were before: He locked himself in his room and never came out for another few weeks. Sometimes when one would pass down the hall and knock on his door to check on him he would just grab something and throw it at the door screaming "Get out! I wish to be alone! Let me live in my misery damn it!" and to all one could see to Yukinari were tears streaming down his face and the room a mess.
After two weeks when his wife had left, Yukinari was still in his room and that he refused to come out. So by then it was up to Shurii to make him come out.
Walking down the long and empty hallway to his friend's room. He opened the door slowly and knocked on it lightly whispering, "Yukinari-sama…" and he could hear a muffled sobbing coming from a depressed Yukinari who was sitting at the end of the bed holding a picture frame of his wife and daughter. He held the picture frame as if he were holding a small child in his arms and the tears had subsided when he turned his head and seen Shurii had entered.
"Get out Shurii, I thought I told you I didn't want to be disturbed!" he yelled, his ruby eyes narrowing at Shurii.
"Yukinari-sama this is beginning to be ridiculous! You can't shut yourself out of the world forever!" he said.
"I fucking don't give a damn! I lost everything because of my need and now I'm beginning to lose myself! Then if I lose anything more, then I shall rather die in my room and die a sad man who lived in his loneliness." Yukinari sighed deeply and turned around, dropping the picture frame and it's glass frame shatter to pieces with the man covering his face and sobbing. Because deep inside his soul he was slowly dying each day, drowning in his own sorrow and over his family that had disappeared.
Shurii walked towards Yukinari but he motioned his hand telling him to go away. "Go Shurii, let me deal with this the best way I can… please just go away." He mumbled.
Shurii nodded and bowed, "As you wish sir." And turned and slowly walked out and shut the door behind him.

A few moments later Shurii had told everyone to not disturb Yukinari for a while and wait until he was ready to come out and face the world, for which he figured it might be a long while. But surprisingly that very night Yukinari had gone insane, screaming and yelling in the night which had caused a commotion in the castle (the castle was located some where far off into the woods near Kyoto) and the hunters had found out that their leader had escaped. Finding in his room was still a mess and the window was broken and that's when they knew he was gone, for which they didn't know how long but he had returned the next dawn. Some had suspected that he was in his room for too long and had finally lost his sense of reality and went crazy. Others had thought he was still depressed and insane over the loss of his wife and daughter. But still things had continued on like nothing happened but to Yukinari it was almost as if he didn't have a wife and daughter at all.
Although no one had spoke of that to him for if they did he would probably lock himself in his room yet again and everyone wouldn't like that at all, going through it again would be hell. Two times is bad enough but for the third time? That wouldn't be acceptable. During that whole week of having Yukinari back was pleasant but there was something about him that bothered almost every one of the hunters and vampires. He had some how changed during the night and he didn't act insane the way he would talk whenever he had gotten angry and this had scared the living hell out of everyone, even Shurii. It wasn't like him at all and something had definitely happened to him. But they dared not to ask what he had done.

To Shurii's surprise, he had still remembered the past even if it was more over a thousand years ago and his good friend Yukinari had long had forgotten it and even that day when his world had shattered like a fragile mirror.
But for now it was getting near to sunset and he had to meet back at the Tokyo Tower to give any word or information about the Suzumi-nigousan. Although this is one thing that he couldn't understand, if Yukinari had wanted to find the reincarnation of the mistress then doesn't he mean his wife? Or is he referring his daughter the mistress instead of his wife? Over all he didn't understand it, but he had to ask or else they'll be very disappointed in the end when this is all over.
After a few hours, Shurii had approached the Tokyo Tower and found only Sakaki there and thankfully he was only one.
Sakaki was patiently sitting on the bench, smoking a cigarette, waiting for everyone else to arrive. Shurii walked up to him and sat down beside him, sighing he said, "Did you find anything?"
"Not a damn thing." Sakaki said exhaling the nicotine smoke and flinging the cigarette bud on to the ground. "I don't think we'll ever find Suzumi-nigousan, it's a waste of time and we should be out here attacking people for cryin' out loud! I'm tired of walking around Tokyo and looking for a person who might already be dead, or as a matter of fact that die thousands of years ago and I don't see why Yukinari wants to look for her." He said coughing a bit and groaning.
The man sitting next to him wasn't sure if he would tell him the real truth about Suzumi-nigousan or not but it was worth a try. "Yes I understand completely, Sakaki, and I'm getting tired as you are and I wish we could do something else but we have to follow Yukinari's orders whether we like it or not." He told him. Sakaki scuffed, "Yeah, well at least you know how I feel but I wish everybody would get here so I can go home and go to bed… god."
"Well to what I'm about to tell you, you'll probably be shocked or whatever your reaction will be but please don't tell Yukinari-sama about this." Shurii said, Sakaki turned his head and stared at him and nodded. "Sure, what is it?"
Shurii sighed, "You probably don't remember this but do you remember Yukinari having a wife and daughter?"
"I think so but keep going."
"Well his daughter disappeared when she was sixteen and he was so depressed and his wife was worried about him and she tried everything she could to make him feel better but it just didn't hit him and so she left him. And that made things worse for him." He said.
Sakaki gave him an odd look, "And your point is?"
"My point is that since Yukinari wants to find the reincarnation of Suzumi-nigousan, but this is one thing I don't get. He either wants to find the reincarnation of his wife or his daughter… and I know one of the two had that name but I just can't quite put my finger on it."
After that said, Sakaki was silent for a moment and it went by for a moment or two until he finally spoke. "How can that be possible? Not knowing who the nigousan is really confusing… but I'm suspecting his wife is. But I don't remember her but it must be her that he's looking for."
"I highly doubt that but maybe he is but it's probably his daughter that he's looking for." Shurii said. "I have no clue on that one, Shurii." Said Sakaki.

Just a few moments after the rest of the remaining vampires and hunters had shown up, with Yukinari who's eye was healed up and it remained a deep cut scar on his eye that went clear up to his forehead to his gray-haired scalp. He groaned, as he was still frustrated that he could see only out of one eye. The men all bowed and greeted the noble leader and he waved his hand, "Yes, yes, now tell me," he began, "Did anyone find any word or information about Suzumi-nigousan?" Of course there was no word or sound among the small group of vampires and Yukinari sighed and shook his head. "As always, no one speaks of finding the damned nigousan." He said. Although Shurii knew about the nigousan but he dared not to speak of her when everyone was gathered here.
"Well since I suspect there isn't any word yet I suppose we should all go home now, everyone is dismissed." He commanded and turned to leave and as everyone else did.
Shurii didn't follow everyone else but he walked towards Yukinari's direction and walked beside him. "Yukinari-sama," he said. "What is it Shurii?" Shurii feared if he told him about what had happened long ago he would surely get yelled at by his leader but it was either chasing two women who were probably dead or if he wanted the truth. "Sir, I've been meaning to ask you if you really know who Suzumi-nigousan is… that is if you remember who she is." He said. Yukinari gave Shurii a puzzled look, "What the hell are you talking about?" he questioned.
"Well sir I've been doing a lot of thinking today and remembered some things in the past and I know you probably wouldn't like to hear the mention of your…two special people in your life that you once had. But I must know who are we exactly searching for, your wife or your daughter?" Yukinari stopped dead in his tracks and looked straight ahead and was silent for a moment, he then turned to Shurii with a shocked expression on his face but more of a sad look.
"You still remember don't you?" he questioned nervously.
Shurii nodded, "Yes sir."
Yukinari sighed, staring straight ahead he clenched his fist. "I thought all of you had forgotten about it (but I was hoping you all would) and the nigousan I'm looking for is my daughter, the light of my life but had soon disappeared." He said wryly, he bowed his head and had said nothing more. "I understand sir and I remember that very day, I'm sure at times you think about it but I figured you wanted to look for your daughter. Why her?"
Yukinari laughed, "It's obvious my friend, she was the only thing that was important to me than my wife, but after she disappeared and so did my wife. I thought for sure that my life would end after what I've been through."
Shurii had understood now, it wasn't his wife he wanted back but his daughter. Goodness who knew what had happened to her or where she went? But at a time like this, this was a good time to search for her than forget about it. It would make Yukinari very happy if he were to see his daughter again but the only problem was that they didn't know exactly if she was still alive or not.
Yukinari sighed, "Well it's best I go now." He said. "Where will be going this evening sir? And what about your scar?" Shurii asked, Yukinari walked a few steps away from him and glanced at him. "I'm going to see Yumiko tonight, I promised her that I would se her and about this scar… don't worry, I'll do something about it." He said and continued walking. Shurii watched him leave and had thought he wouldn't be found out by a human like that woman, of course he had met her before. But to him she was clingy to his leader and had wanted him to stay with her, strange one she was or so he had thought. With a small smile forming on his lips, Shurii turned the other way and left.

Yukinari knocked on Yumiko's door and heard a muffled voice shout "Just a minute!" and the door swung open and to his surprise Yumiko wore a red gown and her hair pulled back into a ponytail. She smiled at him, "Hey I'm glad you came," she said meekly. Yukinari laughed, "Yeah but sorry I'm late, I was doing something at home." He said. Rubbing his right he thought, 'Damn it this eye is killing me! I wish I could go back to my true form and just tear my face off but I can't! Not while she's here.' Though this whole time and day his eye had been bothering him, he tried avoiding not touching his eye so much but it couldn't be helped.
"Don't be, I was hoping you'd be late so I can clean up my little hell hole." Yumiko said, "Why don't you sit down? I just got to do something really quick and I'll ready alright?"
"No problem." He said, he sat down and sighed. Still trying to avoid about touching his eye, but soon after his face went back to its original form and he clutched his eye. "That's it! I can't take it any more!" he mumbled, rubbing his eye. Yumiko came out of her room and looked in the other room where Yukinari was waiting; she could see that he had his back turned towards her.
"Are you ready?" she asked suddenly, Yukinari paused and glanced behind his shoulder. 'Damn busted.' He thought. He couldn't do anything now but if he did he soon would be found out, there goes his race and himself. He turned around to face her and the woman stood very still. "Well?" she said. "Uh… Yeah but I got something in my eye." he replied, rubbed his eye and trying to cover it. "You do? Well maybe can I take a look."
"No it's alright."
"Are you sure?"
He didn't know whether he could just show her his scar or not and that'll be the end but she approached him. "Come on, just let me help and see what's wrong." She said. Pulling his hand away from his face her amber eyes widen, "A scar?" she exclaimed suddenly, "How did you get a scar Yukinari?"
"That… is none of your business human!" he said. She gave him a confused expression but he quickly grabbed her wrists and pushed her against the wall, staring at her straight in the eye. "What the hell are you doing?!" she asked in a frantic tone and tried freeing herself from his grasp but he said nothing for a moment.
"If you tell anyone to what I'm about to tell you I swear, I'll hunt you down and kill you!" he growled. "Alright, I won't now what the hell is it?" He was silent yet again for a moment and devilish smile curved on his lips, "Better yet, you can find out for yourself." He said. She didn't understand what he had met by that but the last thing she heard him say was, "You're not going to like it but I hope you'll somehow forgive me" and felt a sharp pain sink into her neck. Her screams were defining but a few moments later he hushed her with a kiss. Yumiko then had sunk to her knees, her vision a blur and had seen the man with the scar on his right eye. "Why?" she had managed to say, coughing and gasping for air. He smirked at her and touched her cheek. "Because I need it and soon or later you'll be like me-well sort of. Of course you won't like it one bit but you will fall into a deep sleep… or more like a dream world, a world of your own happiness or chaos. The choice is yours, Yumiko." He said and gave her one last kiss and walked out of her apartment.
She watched him go and she fell forward on her face and sobbed. Darkness had then swept over her and there she had screamed as loud as she could, hoping someone or something would her but nothing had come to her silent and dead world.

He walked down the empty hallway and sighed, he just took poor Yumiko like that and she was now a living zombie. "You're an ass Yukinari," he said to himself. Of course that went by too quickly and now all he wanted to do was to go home or try to find the nigousan by himself. He knew what his daughter looked like and it probably wouldn't be too hard to find her, but in a big city like this one… it might be very difficult. Yukinari had wished he could turn back time and find out why his daughter had disappeared and why everything fell apart in his life after she was gone. His precious Suzumi was gone.

Ten years later…

At the University of Tokyo, a girl in her room tossed and turned in her sleep. In her sleep she dreamt of darkness. Darkness with her in it, running from one place to another she called out to whom ever could hear her. She didn't like it; she didn't like it at all. She stopped and was rooted in her spot as she could see an image of herself but more a different looking one.
The girl looked more like she had come from the ancient Japanese era, wearing a red kimono and her red hair cut very short. Her deep blue eyes were piercing at the other girl in front her, which who was staring in awe at her.
"Who are you? And why do you look like me?" she seemed to ask, the girl in the kimono glared, "You know who exactly I am… I'm you." She said. The girl gasped, "You're me? But how is that possible?"
"I can't tell you that, it's a secret," she said.
"Why not?" the girl asked, with a puzzled expression on her face. Her deep blue eyes then widen as the other girl moved close to her and whispered to her. "I've come to tell you that your fate will be coming to you very soon."
Her sapphire blue eyes glowed with a warm smile on her face as she stared at the girl.
"My fate? What is my fate?" she asked again, this was all too confusing to her.
"I told you, you will see your fate very soon, sooner than you think." she said and in a flash of white light she was gone, leaving the girl alone in the depths of the darkness. Silence was among the darkness and some where off in the distance she could hear her name being called.
"Kasumi. Kasumi wake up."

Kasumi slowly opened her eyes and all she could see was a person with jet black hair staring at her. The young man smiled at her, "Ohayo Kasumi-chan." He said. She smiled at him and slapped him lightly on the cheek. "What are you doing in my room? You know you're not suppose to be here while I'm sleeping." He laughed, "Well I had to disturb you because all my friends ditched me so I had to bother you. Sorry about that."
Kasumi sat up and jumped out of bed, wrapping her arms around his neck and kissed him. "I guess I'll forgive you, you're just lucky you didn't give me a rude awakening Satoshi."
"Heh if I did that I wouldn't show my face around you or your part of the dormitory." He said. She gave him a half smile.
"What time is it anyway?" she asked.
"Almost ten o'clock, what are you gonna do today?" She pulled away from him and grabbed her backpack. Digging through it she pulled out a thick book, "I have to study for my Oceanography test, that test is tomorrow."
"You don't need to study at a time like this!" he said, "You can study later on at around six and I'll leave you alone, is that alright? 'Sides I wanted to go a movie with you today or go somewhere-well that is if you weren't planning on doing anything today." Kasumi shook her head; she needn't to study till later. Seeing a movie would get things off her mind, her studying, the things going on and that dream she just had.
For the past few weeks of her first time at the university she had been having strange visions and dreams. At times she would see things that never had happened to her before, she could see a large gathering of many people dressed in type of clothing that were from the ancient Japanese eras. Being attacked by winged warriors and she watched them die, like it was a fight between Heaven and Hell.
But it was completely different. She often would think about that and figure it was a dream or something she had thought of… but she had felt like she was actually there, standing between the chaotic battlefield. Watching them all die, die of a horrible death and she couldn't do anything about it, they couldn't see her but she could see them.
Kasumi was from Osaka, living with her three sisters she told them she was going to be studying in oceanography. For the longest time ever since she was little she had always been interested in the ocean, the mammals and things like that. Although they didn't care what she wanted to do, they would always leave her home by herself and they would be out partying or out with their boyfriends. She hated them for that, leaving her alone and having to take of herself. She wished her parents were still around to show her some love and affection but their father left his family for some whore he met and her mother was forever upset and depressed. One day her mother left one morning before Kasumi had gotten up and found her gone. With no letter or note and nothing at all Kasumi had felt like she was alone now. However, she was only six years old at the time and she had three sisters who were uncaring to her and she had do everything on her own. Of course after she graduated from high school and immediately left home for the summer and never came back. She had gotten a summer job in Tokyo and went to University to study oceanography.
There she had met Satoshi, she was his friend at first and they usually argued and caused an embarrassing scene but they didn't care. But later on she had begun to like him and all that time he had liked her to begin with and she didn't realize it. And they had only been together for five months now, though things were going smoothly for them.

She sighed, "Well since we're going to go downtown I guess I better get ready huh?"
"Yeah you should, I'll be waiting in my room and I'll come back in an hour or whatever." Satoshi said and left.

"This is beginning to be hopeless," Yukinari said sighing. Shurii nodded, "Yes sir, it seems as if we're losing hope in finding the nigousan."
It had been another long ten years and still they hadn't found Suzumi-nigousan, Yukinari was about to fall into his despair like he did once before long ago. He and Shurii were at his home, drinking tea and Yukinari didn't feel the need to drink sake. He sipped his tea and sighed again, "Why? Why did she leave? Was it something I did that drove her away?" he took another sip of his tea and slammed his cup down. Shurii jumped, "I… I don't know sir… it was probably nothing you did but it was probably something that Aya had done." He said.
Aya was the name of his wife, she was a kind woman but she had probably had done nothing to Suzumi. Yukinari didn't understand and it was tearing him apart.
"Impossible, there was nothing that Aya had done that made Suzumi disappear!" said he. "But if there's a chance that if we do find her then I will be the happiest man in the world, that is if we find her by tonight we can bring her to the gathering and reawaken her vampire blood." He said.
"Yes, then if things go right then there's no stopping us… hopefully this year Hanako and her army won't intrude this year." Said Shurii. Yukinari scuffed, "It might happen but if it does then we'll be ready. Besides I have a feeling it will… sooner or later it will. Don't lose your hope on finding Suzumi, we might find her before the gathering."
"Yukinari-sama," Shurii said suddenly. "What happened to Yumiko?"
Yukinari gazed at Shurii for a moment and sighed. "I put Yumiko in her own little happy world… although I doubt that if she's alive today, if she is then I'll be damned." He replied.
"You took her? How could you do that sir?"
"My eye was bothering me and she came in and asked me what was wrong and I told her to leave me alone but she seen my scar and found out. So the only thing I could do was put her in her own world. Sucking her blood and leave her to suffer." He told him.
"You blew your cover and you took her? I don't believe that… maybe it was healing sir." Said Shurii. "Well what else was I suppose to do? I didn't want her to find out about me so I did what I could. But this scar certainly isn't healing now, it probably stopped a few years ago… damn." He cursed.
There was a moment of silence that dragged by, Shurii still couldn't believe his noble leader would do something like that. Because he and the others were vampires, creatures of that roamed the streets at night looking for humans to prey on-but to someone you loved dearly and taking their own life was beyond crazy. Poor Yumiko, she was taken away from the human world so quickly and now her life was being wasted… but it seemed, as Yukinari didn't care one bit. Yukinari sighed, rubbing his right eye.
"I would love to sit here all day but I want to go downtown." He said.
"What would you want to do down in Tokyo sir?" Shurii questioned.
Getting up from his seat, the man glanced out the window. "It's like I said Shurii," he said, "I have a feeling that I'll find Suzumi today, this is the right time to look for her."
Shurii nodded, "Yes sir." replied. They had left the apartment and walked downtown. Although Shurii had a feeling this wasn't going to be a good day for him and his people, especially Yukinari. But maybe it wouldn't be as half as bad the way it was ten years ago. Even if Hanako and her angels come… then that would mean that they would probably take Suzumi away. Away from her destiny and away from her father.

Downtown, Kasumi and Satoshi were sitting in the café and there they had sat for about fifteen minutes after spending half of the morning at the mall and now they had sat for a short break. Kasumi had felt like her head was pounding, groaning she would just massage her temples trying to ease the pain. "Maybe it's the heat or you're probably just tired from staying up so late and studying." Satoshi had said to her. She shook her head, "Maybe I have been staying up late and studying way too much… but god this headache is killing me!" she said. Although it was the staying up and study problem but she had to begun to think her "fate" was coming. But she didn't know what or who it was, all she knew she had a "fate".
"I'll go get you some water." Satoshi told her, she nodded. He glanced at her with a worried and left. Sitting alone at the table images flashed before her eyes. Seeing two men walk down the street, they both wore long leather coats and sunglasses and which had seemed like the other side of town, they were heading in her direction. Then back at the time when she stood in the battle between them and the winged warriors. The man smiled at her and said, "We've found her," he said.
Kasumi's head had then begun pounding; she fell out of her chair and screamed. As they came closer, she got up and backed away.
"Kasumi! What's wrong?" Satoshi shouted, she looked towards him and then at the two men. The redhead had then stood rooted in her spot, her deep blue staring at the two men as they approached her. She shook her head and all that came out of her mouth were the words, "No… no…" and she sprang away in alarm. All sound around seemed deafening and she couldn't even hear Satoshi say her name.

"Kasumi! Kasumi!" Satoshi called anxiously. He grabbed her shoulders and shook her.

The girl turned aggressively to Satoshi, as if she had never seen him before and her deep blue eyes had begun to glow. Her gasps became quite loud and her face became pale, she looked towards the two men and her eyes grew wide.
Her eyes glowing she whispered, "Oto-san… Shurii…" she had begun to realize who it was.
Satoshi stared her, "Oto-san?" he repeated and looked up out the window but she didn't reply. She stood there for a moment as if everything in place had froze and the man was staring straight at her. Kasumi pushed Satoshi away and ran out of the café as quick as she could. "KASUMI! KASUMI!" Satoshi screamed. But still the girl didn't hear him and she did not stop. She was tearing through a crowd of people and not noticing if they fell down and shouted at her, she kept running.
"Shit there she goes," cursed the man. He halted and snapped his fingers and appeared a man and woman. One with short lavender hair and the other with long red hair, "You called for us, sir?" said the woman. The man nodded. "Go get her, bring to her to me and don't let her escape." He demanded and the two had said nothing but nodded, they took off to capture the redhead.

Satoshi was following Kasumi but she was running far too fast for him and he couldn't keep up with her. He ran faster and tried to grab her but she took off like a possessed demon running at top speed dashing through the street and disappearing from his sight. "Damn it," he swore, he couldn't give up now and had to go after her.

~ * ~

Kasumi hadn't stopped and she kept running. Her eyes still aglow there was only one thing that was on her mind, was to keep running from the two men and whatever else was chasing after her.
She turned a corner and ran down an alleyway that was deserted and dead quiet, she came to a halt and her eyes kept glowing from a light blue to a deep blue color. At the corner of her eye, she could see something lurking in the shadows. Kasumi stood rooted in her spot until suddenly a man jumped out of the shadows and tried grabbing her but she stopped him. Narrowing her eyes she had him stiff as a broad and he didn't move. "After all these years you finally found me…" she said.
"Your oto-san wants you back." He replied.
She scoffed, "Wants me back? For what? To force me to marry one of his hunters and make me live on my own… I don't want that. He can suffer in his misery for all I give a damn!" she shouted and her eyes grew wide and her telepathic strength threw the man against the wall. The possessed redhead grinned and walked away from the man, but before she was going to leave, a woman popped out of no where and blocked her way.
"It's best you come with us, Suzumi." She said. The girl smirked, "And if I refuse?"
"Then we have no choice but to force you to come with us."

She then had looked at the woman and then at the man who was lying on the ground. There was a long haul of silence that swept over them until a voice shouted, "Kasumi!" and she turned to see it was Satoshi. The girl's eyes glow had faded and they were like lights being turned on and off.
"Stay out of this human, this is none of your concern!" the woman shouted.
"Like hell is it!" Satoshi said, walking towards Kasumi who seemed like the person she wasn't was before. "Come on Kasumi, let's go." He said.
The girl stared at him internally, "This Kasumi you speak of is gone," she said suddenly. "What?" he questioned confusedly.
For a moment she had said nothing but her glowing eyes had begun to fade and inside Kasumi was fighting her way out to speak. "It's too dangerous Satoshi! Run!" she shouted.
"I'm not leaving without you!"
She looked at Satoshi intently and her eyes glowed. "Foolish human, I'm your recarinator! You can't get rid of me no matter how hard you try… I control your life!" she shouted. "The gathering of the japanese vampires has begun and it has been far too long since I last seen my wretched oto-san… the fool… thinking he would just push me out of his life and have me marry some one… he's wrong." She said in a harsh tone.
The woman with red hair grabbed Suzumi from behind wrapping her arms behind her back and spoke in her ear, "Are you going to come with us or are you going to play hide and seek?"
"Do I have a choice?" She asked.
"I don't think you do my dear…" she replied.
Suzumi was about to say something but she tried to free herself from the woman's grasp and all she could see was the young man Satoshi was being attacked by the man with purple hair. But then everything went into darkness and she couldn't hear anything, she would've used her telepathic powers but didn't feel the need to because she knew she would just be hunted down like a wild animal.
There was nothing more she could do but the other girl inside her was scared out of her wits. "Do not fret, Kasumi. Nothing will happen to you but since I'm apart of you there is something that will happen to you." She said.
"What will they do?" Kasumi questioned.
Suzumi shook her head, "I don't know, but I know they won't harm you in any way. But for now, you will take over, you need to understand what happened to me and I'm sure they'll explain half of my life story to you an then I will take it from there."
Kasumi nodded as if she understood and sighed.

Anything could happen to her, she just hoped that they did not harm Satoshi. But she will just have to wait and see Suzumi was right that her fate had came too soon. And she was afraid, very afraid.

A/N: Sorry if I went to fast… I kept rewriting this whole part over and over and I couldn't get a perfect scene in my head. It was really difficult for me… I know I sort of screwed up on some parts but this will get better. I just gotta work on my spelling errors and stuff. Thanks to Blackjack Gabbiani for the correct way of spelling Giovanni's japanese name. ^^;; But I'm working on the next chapter now and that means… MORE ELDERSHIPPYNESS! ^^() And more Yukinari about being a hornball around Hanako… heh… ^^(_) Yell at me for making this chapter go to fast. Sorry about that! *dodges the rotten fruits and hides behind sand shelter and waves white flag* ^^;;

On to Chapter Two!
