Pokèmon Adventures.

I'll make you proud...

...."And the crowd go wild as Kenji yet again beats another trainer single handedly with his Charizard, what will the trainer choose next....wow a Pidgeot!,

Kenji has had a chnge of mind he's bringing out an Electrode, Pigeot swoops down, and look at that Electrode has lept into the air, and....*boom* he's done it Kenji is the new Pokèmon league Champion, here comes lance the previous league champion, let's see what he's got to say...

Lance opened his mouh to speak, "time to wake, up time to wake up time to wake"

"wha...." Kenji woke with a start, and tuned off his alarm clock, "he quickly got dressed into his clothes, he'd designed them himself and his Mum had made them, he had a black pair of cargo trousers with four pockets, a black t-shirt, a blue over coat with velcro strips.

He walked over to his dresser on it was a wooden box, there was a gold plaque on the side, "To Kenji Sorry missed your 10th Dad"

"Don't worry Dad, where ever you are I'll make you proud, a small tear formed in his eye, he looked over at the photo of him, his Mum and his dad,...I'll make you proud."

Off To Oaks.

Kenji packed a bag of esentials, a rod, a net, money and a couple of potions, Kenji went over to the box and slowley opened it, inside there were six Pokèballs, he clipped each one onto his jacket, slipped on his trainers grabbed his skateboard made his way out of the door, as he skated down the streets, they seemed empty, exactly how Kenji felt.

he skated up the driveway of Oaks lab, and entered the door, proffesor Oak was waiting at the top end of the lab along with two other boys, one of which he knew was Jett his old friend, he remebered, of how they used to play out in the fields with his dad's Pokèmon, then when his dad left again Jett turned nasty.

Kenji walked up next to Jett.

"Ah Kenji nice of you to join us, late just like you Father on his first day" Proffesor Oak talked softly of his father, "As you know it's the annual Pokèmon starting day, and these three ten year olds, are about to start on the first step on being a Pokèmon trainer they each get to choose their first Pokèmon, so in alphabtical order, they were each called out, "Kaldea Barzard!" a small timid girl walked up to the desk and picked up a Pokèball,

"I choose you....Squirtle!" She said it quietly but just loud enough to be heard at the baqck of the lab.

A small turtle Pokèmon came out of the ball with a loud, "Squirtle!" it then ran up and hugged the girl, who blushed a bright red at Kenji, and hugged it back, she then walked with it to the opposite side of the room to who must been her parents.

"Jett Kouger!" Jett walked up to the desk, he seemed to consider a lot of things, Kenji could hear him muttering "well Bulbasaur is the easiest to raise but Charmander will eventually become a dragon type, but Bulbasaur has great resistance to alot of attacks, then again Charmander has strong attacks....." he went silent, he picked up a ball, I choose you..."Charmander!"

"And lastly Kenji igarashi"

There was only on ball left Kenji reached out and picked it up, "I choose you Bulabasaur!"

The ball blew open and a small grass type Pokèmon appeared it yawned and stretched "Bulbaaaa...".

"Kenji you've chosen a male Bulbasaur well done well thats the Pokèmon sorted out" Prof Oak broke in "Now you three come with me to this table, there are two important items here for you,"

He picked up a small red device, "this is a

Pokèdex Dexer for short, it records all known data about pokèmon and anything new when you catch them", he passed one to each of the three children, he then picked up a small card, "this my friends is a map, but not any ordinary paper map, this is an E.M.L.D. or an Electronic, Map, and Locator, Device", he passed one to the three again, "now in the side of your Pokèdex there's a slot, put the card into the slot, and the Pokèdex will take in the information."

The Pokèdex took the card and bleeped, it then spoke in an electronic voice, "You..are..now..in..Pallet..town..welcome..home..

Kenji"

"cool" Kenji said quietly.

"Now" Oak said finally, "you can only carry six pokèmon at a time, so Jett and Kaldea, your pokèmon will be transported into the nearest Pokèmon Center, and Kenji your Mom requested that your pokèmon come back here,"

"Okay?" Kenji said slightly puzzled.

"And now it is time for these three to start their Journey."

Pidgey And Viridian City

Kenji Left Oaks Lab, and headed to the North of Pallet town, as he followed the path every so often he'd see a wild pokèmon but before he could do anything they'd gone.

As he walked he could hear distant meowths screeching, it sounded like a fight, Kenji dashed through the grass, three meowths scatted into the bushes.

As the dust cleared, a small bunch of feathers appeared out of the dust, as it became clearer he saw a small bird was lying unconcious on the floor, he ran over a picked it up, "Oh no....poor little thing" Kenji looked sadly down on it, he rushed on to the way out, he looked desperately left and right for some help, there were signs up about a meowth gang, an ambulance pulled up driven by a nurse, two Chansey's rushed out of the back and took the bird from his hands, the nurse came out, "is this your Pidgey?" she looked very angry "How could you keep it in such a condition!"

"it's not mine" Kenji pleaded "it was in the woods this is how I found it, it had been attacked"

"Quick climb in then" she said opening the door,

Kenji climbed in and the ambulance sped off toward a small building.

As they arrived the two chanseys wheeled the bird through to doors.

"I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself" Kenji looked up

"I'm nurse Joy, I own this pokèmon center, the pokèmon you found was a Pidgey, it must of been attacked by the meowth gang, it'll be fine though it's lucky you found it, it'll take a while for it to be better, you should go for a walk"

Kenji went back the way he came in search of a few more pokèmon.

he was walking by a couple of trees when a meowth landed in front of him.

"Meooowwtthhh" it yowled.

"Cool a meowth." Kenji said "Go Bulbasaur!"

the ball opened and Bulbasaur came out,

"you ready Bulbasaur, quick vine whip!"

Bulbasaur's vine zoomed out a whipped the meowth round the face. the meowth flew back and hit a tree, "MEOOWWWTHH!" it yowled the yowl echoed around the wood, suddenly two more meowths appeared, "Bulbasaur quick use your razor leaf against them" Bulbasaur shot out a row of leaves, each meowth dodged them and launched a scratch attack, Bulbasaur let out a loud yelp and ran behind Kenji.

The yelp wasn't loud but echoed until it reached the Pokèmon center, the bird awoke with a start, it shot out through the window and towards Kenji.

The meowths had backed Kenji against a tree the meowths launched themselves into the air ready for another scratch attack, a small blur whizzed past and the meowths fell to the floor, "wha'...?"

Kenji excalimed slightly puzzled, the blur flew back again knocked the meowths reeling, and they ran.

The blur stopped and Kenji saw what it was, "you!" he said happily,

Suddenly Dexter broke in "Pidgey male, the tiny bird Pokèmon, if scared will kick up dust into it's opponents eyes blinding them."

"Pidgey" Said Kenji "why did you help us?"

Pidgey jumped up and sat on Kenji's shoulder and rubs it's head against his neck, "is this a thank you? well it's us who should be thanking you, isn't that right Bulbasaur?"

"Bulba-saaauur" Bulbasaur said happily.

"How would you like to join us?"

"Pidge-Pidge-Pidgeeey!!" Pidgey excalimed bouncing up and down.

"Lets battle then! Bulbasaur Go!!"

Bulbasaur dashed out from behind Kenji,

"OK Bulbasaur use your Tackle!"

Bulbasaur ran towards Pidgey but Pidgey jumped up, it tackled Bulbasaur saquare between the eyes, Bulbasaur staggered slightly then collapsed.

"Wow! your a strong one!"

"Suddenly Pidgey started glowing, it slowley started growing and changing, it spread it's wings a flew up and in an exlosion of light showed itself.

"Pidgeotto the bird Pokèmon, fierecly territorial will fight of any thing and anyone away"

"Okay Bulbasaur lets try again!"

Bulbasaur stood up, "now use your wrap!"

Bulbasaur shot out its vines and wrapped them around Pidgeotto pinning it's wings, "now finish this with a slam!"

Bulabasaur threw Pidgeotto into the ground.

"Now vine whip!" Bulbasaurs whipped Pidgeotto slamming it into a tree.

"Pokèball go!" Kenji threw the Pokèball through the air, as it hit Pidgeotto it opened up and sucked it in.

it sat for a bit then rocked once "come on.." Twice "Almost" Then stopped, "a--aha a ha ha ha!! I caught my first Pokèmon" Kenji started jumping and dancing around the woods.

"How pathetic" A voice came from behind a tree.

"That was the worst battle I've ever seen,"

Jett came out from behind a tree, "I could have caught it before it evolved, hah fat chance of becoming a trainer, you put your father to shame!"

"Don't bring my father into this! your going to regret this!"

"Oh am I now? I doubt a little squirt like you could ever do anything to harm me."

"That it!! Get ready to battle!"

"Pah you'll need to heal your Pokèmon first, and anyway I'm not ready yet, I'll meet you at Pewter city gym then we'll battle."

"And you'll lose"

Jett flashed one of those smiles where Kenji just wanted to hit him, and walked off.

Onwards To Petwter.

Kenji had arrived at Viridian city. and was sitting in the Pokèmon center.

"Three trainers arrived here earlier each had a Meowth" Nurse Joy had healed Kenjis Pokèmon and had set out a meal for him.

"The Meowth gang must've scattered when we beat 'em."

"Maybe" Nurse Joy smiled.

"So where are you off to next?"

"We're going to beat Pewter gym!"

"I hear that the gym leader is hard to defeat, very few make it past, him and give up on collecting badges."

"We'll beat him!"

"I'm sure you will."

Kenji jumped up out of his seat, "I'm going to beat him right now!"

Kenji made his way towards the door,

"Good luck!" Nurse Joy Shouted after him.

When Kenji arrived outside Viridian forest it was starting to rain, he quickly went in and found shelter under a large oak tree, the rain fell heavily, and the grass became mud infront of Kenji, he sighed and looked up for signs of the rain stopping.

"Maybe I should've waited at the Pokèmon center."

Bulbasaur popped out of it's ball, "I suppose you like this kind of weather don't you?" He smiled

"Bulba!" Bulbasaur looked happy, and went off to run in the water.

Kenji smiled gently as Bulbasaur jumped about in the puddles.

"Bulba, Bulba, Saur!!" it shouted happily,

A while later the rain cooled off, and the stars came out, Kenji had started walking through the forest, many bug Pokèmon flew over head and every so often Pidgeys called, but most of them we're out of reach or dissapeared before Kenji had the chance to even start.

Suddenly a this piece of thred flew into Kenji's face,

"Ugh spider web" Kenji shuddered.

A small bug Pokèmon crawled down the thred and onto Kenji's shoulder, "Dexter who's that Pokèmon?"

"Caterpie the worm type Pokèmon, the suction cups on the bottom of this Pokèmon's feet help it climb even the the steapest of slopes."

"Alright, I'll try catch this one.....Pokèball go!"

The ball lightly bounced of the Pokèmon's head and opened up, the small bug looked surprised as he was sucked into the ball, th ball slowley rocked, time seemed to stand still, Kenji held his breath until....the ball stopped,"ALRiGHT!!" Kenji struck a pose and pulled the 'V' sign "i caught a Caterpie!"

Kenji ran the rest of the way through the forest the excitement pumping through his veins.

As he left the forest behind him th whole of Pewter was laid out in front of him, in the far distance was the gym, he'd almost forgot about Jett's challenge.

"Hey Kenji!" a happy voice shouted from behind him.

"Kaldea!" he shouted happily "How are you doing?"

"i've caught three new Pokèmon....wanna battle?"

"Uh...sure" he wasn't exactly sure if he should or not.

"Two on two"

"Lets do it! Go Speary!"

*Speary?* he thought to himself *whats that?*

She threw the ball up into the air and a small bird came out, he immediatly thought it was a Pidgey but when he looked closer he realised it wasn't a Pidgey but a very different bird Pokèmon,

"Dexter what's that?"

"Spearow the tiny bird Pokèmon a it's short wings make it a very fast flier but can't cope with longer distances."

"We'll then Go Pidgeotto!"

Kenji through the ball in the air and out came Pidgeotto, the two birds circled around above their heads, "Losers go first" Kaldea called

"Guess that'll be you then" Kenji replied smiling

"Fine, Speary use your quick attack!,"

Speary flapped back a few spaces and started flying towards Pidgeotto at a fast speed,

"Pidgeotto dodge it!,"

Pidgeotto dodged as round upon round Speary flew at it.

"Hmm nice one" Kaldea smiled, "Speary use your gust"

"Okay Pidgeotto use your whirl wind!"

Speary brewed a a gust and flapped it's wings faster and faster until it eventually launched the wind at Pidgeotto, Pidgeotto instictivly started flapping his larger wings and launched a small twister at Speary, it cut through the wind and caught the little bird inside the cyclone spitting it out toward the ground, 'out for the count'.

"Speary!"

"Good job Pidgeotto!" Kenji congratulated the bird,

"Speary return!" Kaldea withdrew the Spearow,

"Pidgeotto return,"

"Squirter Go!"

"Your turn Caterpie" Kenji guessed what Squirter could be,

The two Pokèmon eyed eachother, both eager to start the battle,

"My turn to start i think" Kenji said smugly

"Your loss"

"Caterpie use your tackle!,"

Caterpie charged toward Squirty,

"Squirty use your headbash!"

Squirty tucked its head inside the shell, and launched itself headlong toward Caterpie, their heads collided, and Caterpie was left reeling into a tree,

"Caterpie use your vine Stringshot!"

"Squirty use bubble!"

Caterpie shot a long stream of string but missed Squirty, Squirty let rip a large amount of bubbles,

"Hah bubble's what are they gonna do?" Kenji laughed

"Just watch" Kaldea replied,

A bubble burst on Caterpie's head, but instead of making a small popping sound let off a large bang and a flash, Caterpie instinctivly started popping the bubbles with it's string. Soon Caterpie was so tired out, he couldn't dodge any more.

"Squirty finish it off with water gun!" Kaldea commanded,

Squirty nodded and let loose a torrent of water, at Bulbasaur, but rather than being hurt Bulbasaur started smiling.

"Heh" Kenji smiled,

"Wha'....what's going on, izzat Pokèmon smiling?!"

"Didn't you know that bug Pokèmon enjoy water? just like watering your plants."

"Okay Caterpie, we need to win, use your string shot!"

Caterpie started launching whisps of silk at Squirty wrapping it up like a mummy until it couldn't move, and toppled over.

"Squirty return" Kaldea withdrew Squirty back into the Pokèball.

"Good boy Caterpie," Kenji let Caterpie sit on his shoulder for a bit,"I guess this means I'm one up on you....until next time."

"Yeah...next time I'll beat you!" Kaldea smiled.

She turned her back and dissapeared into the under growth.

Caterpie jumped down from Kenji's shoulder,

"Huh what's the matter Caterpie?"

Caterpie lunched more silk into the air and started coating itself until it was no longer to be seen, after a short while the silk start hardened.

"Dexter whats happening"

"Metapod the cocoon Pokèmon, almost incapable of moving, being a bug Pokèmon evolves quickly"

"Incapable of moving...so how does it battle?"

Kenji made his way out into the bright sunlight and his were set upon a city.

"My first step to becoming a Pokèmon master is here.."

Boulder-dash and Brock.

The gym looked ominous as Kenji approached the front door, his hand was about to touch the handle when nurse Joy dashed through it with a "bed on wheels" from the Pokèmon center, on it lay a small Pokèmon totaly out cold, a young girl was running next to the trolly.

"Peeka...please wake up PLEEAASEE" her eyes were filled with tears.

"Must be a tough trainer" Kenji thought.

He pushed open the door, a teenage man was stood in the middle of the floor.

"Sorry" he said "We're closed" and turned to walk away

"Wait" Kenji called after him "I've just come from pallet town, and I challenge YOU to a battle, and I'm not leaving till you accept!"

"Hmm you have plenty of spirit, you remind me of a trainer I met a few years ago, i accept your challenge."

The floor slowley rotated and on the reverse was a large rock stadium.

"This will be a battle, until you defeat me, or I defeat you."

"Lets do it!, I choose you Bulbasaur"

"Go Onix!"

"Onix use your slam!"

Onix lifted up it's tail and slammed it down Bulbasaur jumped to it's right, narrowly missing the tail,

"Bulbasaur use Tackle!"

Bulbasaur charged at Onix, but bounced off,

"Heh you really think a normal type move will have any effect against a rock type. Onix use rock throw!"

Onix started hitting random rocks with it's tail launching 5 at a time at Bulbasaur.

"Uh! Bulbasaur use your razor leaf, and break those rocks!"

Bulbasaur's razor leafs split the rocks in two and hit Onix Knocking it down in one.

"Hah one down one to go!"

"Don't get cocky." Brock smiled, "You have one more fight to win"

"Go Geodude!"

"Bulbasaur razor leaf this one down too!"

"Geodude, use defense curl NOW!"

Geodude curled up in a tight ball, and the leaves just bounced off,

"Geodude use tackle!"

The rock Pokèmon floated through the air at high speeds until it collided with Bulbasaurs head, knocking him out cold.

"Grr alright then, Go Pidgeotto!"

"Pidgeotto use your gust attack"

"Geodude, use another tackle!"

Pidgeotto created a strong wind, but to no provail, the Geodude sailed straight through, and knocked the bird out."

"One more each I presume" Brock smiled, "Better hope it's a good one."

*What do I do...Metapod is incapable of moving and my other two have fainted.....*
