The Savior Of The Forest

Suffering-Chapter 1

The aroma of the flowers, the sweet sound of the little Natu, and the splashing of the little Chinchou. Oh, why can't it be like this everyday? Why, do you ask, that I can't get peace everyday? Well, I'm Garnet, a little Latias that's why. Not everyone has twin brother Latios! He is the most annoying thing in the whole forest! No one in the right mind will call him cute, a spit image of me! He has the same eyes of me, body shape, and blah blah blah! He's blue, and I'm red and proud of it! Really, if I were blue, I'd just faint in embarrassment. Then again, if I count correctly...Ah yes, he burped in my face ten times. His name? Azul. He doesn't even know it means blue in Spanish. Right now I'm too peaceful to repeat what else he did.

I gently floated to the pool. It shimmered and sparkled. So maybe it does everyday. But today it was especially sparkly. "Cerulean, where are you?" I called patiently. "Cerulean, coast clear!" Suddenly, bubbles floated to the top. Out emerged a baby Vaporeon. "What's up?" she said happily. "It was really boring today, have any ideas to play?"

"I do!" cried a very familiar voice. "And now that I have two playmates, you are going to play by force!" And out popped my twin brother. Cerulean took one glance at him and turned invisible. All I can do was sulk all the way to my favorite Maple tree. Under the shade, I hid well. Especially when I turn invisible. "Garnet! Garnet, it's play time!" he yelled hopefully. Unfortunately, the last game he played with me, the rules were that if we score a point, he would win. If he lost a point, they did too (negatives.) It was so unfair. The only thing in Garnet's head was that she better stays away from him or else suffer more. Besides the fact that she had a pain in the neck brother, she was also given the power to control the forest, given the strength to fight all evils, and duties to protect their home. Her duties were to circle their homeland twice, and check if there are any enemies close by on the tracking device. There was no way that she could survive these duties plus her brother. "Azul, leave me alone!" She cried menacingly. "There's no need to ask us, go play with your own friends!" "Your duty starts at twelve." He sang as he flew off in defeat.

After a few more minutes, Garnet raced past Shimmering Pool where Cerulean lived, pass Oak woods, and pass Giant Maple, where they lived. She flew all the way to town, where the humans lived. Still invisible, she crept to through town until she got to the center of town, where there was a giant clock tower. She peered around, so no one will notice if she accidentally turned back visible. Then she stared at the clock, and just as she did the clock struck twelve. "Oh no!" She moaned. "Stupid clock, don't chime the bells yet!" But it did just that. Garnet franticly sped out of town to the starting of Oak woods. She started her inspection of the whole place.

Meanwhile, Azul was pacing around gloomily. "Why oh why can't anyone play with me?" He moaned. "Maybe if you stopped being annoying you can win your sister's trust!" Cried a little Vaporeon. A vaguely familiar Vaporeon..."Cerulean!" Azul cried with surprise. "I thought you were with Garnet!" Azul said, very astonished to see her not hiding. "What's the point of asking her? She has her duties now, you don't expect me to follow her!" The bored Vaporeon said with a sigh. "Where are your little friends? I thought you would be smart enough to play with them." "I am smart enough to ask!" Azul cried taken back. "They just were all busy, and I'm not in the stupid club they made up. Like I want to be." "They're your friends!" cried the shocked Vaporeon. "Don't you guys ever play?" "No." he answered simply. "They weren't my friends, they were just some people to play with when I am bored." Cerulean sighed. "Do you know what friends are? They are supposed to care for you." "Then they really aren't friends, they hated all my games." "I'm not surprised." Cerulean mumbled. "But, anyway, I'll take you to meet some pokemon, only cause I'm bored." She added hurriedly. If he ever thought that she actually cared about him, she was going to spend the rest of her life under the lily pads. "Just follow me, OK?" She didn't need to add that, he followed her eagerly, his eyes darting here and there in search of more pokemon. "Here we are!" Cerulean announced brightly. It was obvious that she visited this place often, because a shower of friends crowded around her. Azul settled down, and made fast friends since how many Latios do you see a day?

As soon as Azul had entered Moss Swamp, which was at the very tip of Mystic Village and the place to enter Fog Woods, Garnet had returned home, expecting to see Azul eagerly searching her for some snack for him, and she occasionally brought something for him to eat. But as she returned with a tender Pecha berry, he was nowhere to be seen. "Azul?" She yelled hopefully, incase it was one of his little games again, "I've got some delicious Pecha berries, and if you hide I'll have to eat them all!" She stopped halfway from putting a Pecha berry in her mouth.

Usually, he would have darted into sight and gobble a berry, but there weren't even the sound of movement. "Oh no..." She muttered. "If he walked out, if he exited our borders..." It'll be my entire fault! A voice ran inside her head. She was so worried, that she immediately called the Lanturn and Chinchou search team to check all over Mystic Village. But even the team's resurring voice, Garnet was still pained inside. It was my entire fault he went, I was just way too mean! She made a silent vow that she would never be that mean again. A few insults can't hurt a Latios as tough as him, would it?

Still trapped in pain, she set off to ask Cerulean where he might have gone. But to her surprise, she wasn't there either. "She was heading to Moss Swamp." Answered the never concerned Azumarill. "I'm sure she was bringing someone along, there were two shadows in the water." "Thanks a lot, Seamus!" Garnet cried behind her shoulder hastily before he could mock 'Thank you, Seamus.' Like he did when you didn't give a thank-you. "Tell my sister that mom's going to freak if she doesn't come back!" he yelled. "You know where Moss Swamp is, no need to worry, there's lots of friends there." She tried to tell herself. But still, she couldn't get the message that there were many kind pokemon in Moss Swamp. "I always circle there on duty, and there's nothing dangerous there!" She tried again, but her brain ignored the fact that she was going a bit too fast underwater. "Why do I care about him?" "Why do I care about him!?" She said aloud. "Because he's my brother stupid! Why would I not?!" She immediately swam to the surface to spit out the water she sucked in and held a new breath to dive in with.
