(A/N: Okay, my first story was a success so I’m guessing I’m well liked. Anyway I was
asked to do an Ash/May or Advanceshipping fic so why not. But I urge everyone that is
reading this to do other stories besides Ash/Misty. Anyway on with the story.)

Ash, Brock, May, and Misty had recently been joined in their travels through
Houen by Gary who decided that being a pokemon researcher was too dull and managed
to find Ash. Now they had finally made it to Dew Point City. Famous for its excellent
malls, beaches and romantic sunsets. Lets see what’s going on with the group.
Brock: Beaches mean lots and lots of girls in bikinis. Woohoo Hang on ladies, Brocks

Gary: Yeah right. like they’d want you. Al of them are mine do you hear men Brock.
Misty: Grr. Damn you two, we have to check into the pokemon center. Besides, I’m,

May: Yeah right Misty. Next thing you know James will stop disturbing everyone and

other with the order being Ash, May, Gary, Misty, and Brock at the end.
a little while later the group is sitting in the lobby when they notice a poster advertising a
dance.
Ash: Huh the Walnut Festival dance. Meet your true love and live happily ever after.
On Saturday from 7-11 p.m.
Gary: Hey we should go to that. It’s a free dance and there are going to be a lot of pretty
girls in kimonos.
Brock: I’m in. I’ll finally be able to get a date.
Ash: Yeah that’s a great idea.
May: Count me in, but let’s get changed and go to the beach because it’s a nice day
outside.
They All go to their rooms and change. Ash comes out wearing blue shorts with swirly

comes out wearing lime green shorts with stripes on them. Misty comes out wearing a
conservative swimsuit and is pissed at May. Finally Brock comes out wearing plain gray
shorts. They all head to the beach.

Over where May is
May: All right a Cacnea. I could use a strong grass pokemon. Go Torchic.

Torchic shot a burst of flame at Cacnea that burns it a little and makes it angry and
retaliates with pin missile.
May: Torchic counter pin missile with ember.
The ember and pin missile attacks collide causing a huge explosion and knocking Cacnea
out.
May: Okay then. Go pokeball.
She catches the Cacnea and is happy. However the battle attracted a couple street punks
from the sand dunes
Punk#1: Hey little girl. How would you like to come back to our place for a little fun.
May: No that’s okay I think I’ll just stay on the beach.
Punk#2: Oh but we are not asking, we are telling. Now come here.
Just then a bolt of lightning hit in between May and the two street punks.
Ash: I suggest you back off NOW.
Punk#1. Pff what’re you gonna do about it dweeb.

With that they try to advance, but Pikachu sends the flying with a thunder.
May: Thanks Ash you saved me.

It was later that night and May was in her room upset about the day’s events when she
hears a knock at the door and Ash comes in.
Ash: Are you okay May.
May: No not at all.
Ash: Still scared about what happened on the beach today.
May: Yes, and those people are still out there.
Ash: Don’t worry. Gary, Brock, and I can stop anyone that tries to get in.
It was a few days later on saturday afternoon. Ash and Gary still weren’t able to find
dates since Brock managed to be able to go with Nurse Joy when Misty wasn’t around.
Ash and Gary are in Ash’s room talking about the dance tonight.
Gary: Come on Ash, just ask her.
Ash: No. What if I get rejected and don’t have anyone to go with.
Gary: She won’t reject. She’s had a crush on you for as long as Brock and I can

couch. Trying to get the courage to ask her. Finally he throws caution to the wind and starts speaking.
Ash: May can I ask you something?
May: Sure Ash. what is it?
Ash: Will you go to the dance with me tonight.

Their faces get closer until they kiss, but is rudely interrupted by a scream from across
the room from Misty.
Misty: Damn you Ash. I was supposed to go with you not May.
Ash: Shut up Misty. I paid you back for your bike so you don’t have to keep following
me. Besides, May is cuter than you’ll ever be.

Random Guy: Excuse me sir, but do you know where I can find a date for the dance tonight.
