*Flashback: Final Round: Kanto League Battle*

In a crowded stadium, with many people watching the battle, between the Pokemon Master of the
Johto and Orange League, who is now earning his place to be the Pokemon Master of the Kanto
League against his rival, who has beaten him before, but now, the tables have turned as the
Pokemon Trainer with his cap covering his face faces his rival with only one Pokemon against
the rival's sixth and last Pokemon. As the rival looks at the Pokeball keeping that last
Pokemon...

Rival: I can't believe it. How can one Pokemon beat five of mine? It doesn't seem possible.
NO! I WILL NOT LOSE!!! Eevee, GO!!!

As the Pokeball releases Eevee into the battle field, the other trainer was calm and let his
Pokemon, a Pikachu, stay behind with confidence...

Trainer: Come on, Gary, I've been through tougher battles than this before I became Master
of the Johto League.

Gary: Eevee, take down attack!!!

Trainer: Pikachu, agility...

Then, the Pikachu dashed towards Eevee at a fast speed as the Eevee charges towards
Pikachu...

Trainer: Pikachu, NOW!

Just as Eevee thought he had hit Pikachu, Pikachu suddenly appeared behind Eevee and grabbed
Eevee and did a Thunder attack at point-blank range...

Gary: How can it be? How can a Pikachu move that fast?

Gary recalls Eevee and walks to the locker room, thinking without any thought of revenge, hate
or even jealously, but confusion...

*End Flashback*

When a Master becomes a Hero: Prolouge

*One year later*

Ash was in one of the ruins in Pokemopolis...

Ash: Man, if only if I had took that left turn, I wouldn't be seperated from Pikachu.

Ash entered a room, when suddenly, a door closed, locking Ash in...

Ash: Great. Now, how am I going to get out?

Suddenly, a few Pokemon teleported into the room...

Ash: Mew? Lugia? Entei? Celebi? What are you all doing here?

Lugia was the first to respond, saying, "We are here to witness the awakening of the
Chosen One."

Ash: Not again. Look, I had enough of being the Chosen One because I'm just Ash. Plain Ash
Ketchum.

Mew says, "You survive many Pokemon attacks and you'll survive many more."

Ash: What does that mean?

Lugia: You are going to awaken soon.

Ash suddenly felt a surge of electricity in his body...

Ash: What the?

Ash's body was surrounded by electricity and as the bolts enters Ash's body, Ash noticed that
he felt no pain...

Ash: What happened?

Lugia: Something that you will know as soon as you meet him.

Suddenly, the Pokemon disappeared...

Ash: Who's him? Lugia? Mew? ANYONE?!

A "Pika!" was heard...

Ash: Pikachu. What's going on here?

Pikachu: <Ash!>

Ash: Pikachu? Since when can you speak our language?

Pikachu: <Ever since you just got to a higher level of Pokemon Training. You've just passed
the mark beyond the title Pokemon Master...to a Pokemon Hero. But we're still friends, right?>

Ash looks at Pikachu and nods...

Back in Pallet Town, Ash was in his room, wondering how to control his powers...

Ash: Its too dangerous to remove the gloves now that I have this "power", but how am I going
to control it once the gloves are removed. Well, with things like plans for going to a school
in month and I can't take off the gloves otherwise it might hurt someone.

Outside Ash's room, Delia and Pikachu were watching Ash...

Delia: I'm worried about Ash. I'm not sure if he's ready enough to take on the cave.

Pikachu: Pika Pika. Pikachu Pika.

Delia: Why the Cerulean Cave? Well, lets just say that when you go with Ash there, you'll
see.

At the entrance to Cerulean Cave, Pikachu was pulling a reluctant Ash...

Pikachu: <Come on, Ash!>

Ash: No, Pikachu. I don't want to even think about training.

Pikachu: <I think that this might be a good place to train your control over your powers.>

Ash: Alright, then.

In the cave, Ash and Pikachu were walking pass some walls when suddenly, ice daggers flew pass
Ash and hit a cave wall...

Ash yells out, "Who's there?!"

A Girl's voice says, "Whoever you are, leave! This cave is dangerous and you must not enter."

As Ash sees the girl who threw the ice daggers, he reconise who she was...

Ash: Misty?

Misty: Ash? What are you doing here?

Ash: Training. How about you? Why are you guarding this dangerous cave?

Misty: To keep the people out, what else. The cave was closed after an accident 2 years ago.
I'm here to keep anyone from creating anymore accidents. Rumors has it says that a Powerful
Pokemon onced lived here and has caused the accident. No one knows the full details the
except for one man. Come, I'll take you to him.

As Ash and Misty walk furthurs into the cave, Pikachu started wondering...

Pikachu: <Since when did Mewtwo decide to create an accident in his hiding place? If he knew
about Ash, why make a fuss over a little problem?>

Pikachu didn't notice some rocks starting to levitate over the ground...until Pikachu
suddenly sensed something wrong...

Pikachu: <Something's coming up really strong at around Lv 50.>

Pikachu suddenly turned around and destroyed the two rocks with a Thundershock...

Pikachu: <And fast.>

A Rhydon was charging towards Pikachu as Pikachu became calm as he sees the underground
lake, saying, "<Just what I need...>"

Pikachu takes out a surf board, and yells out, "<Time to SURF!!!>"

The water started rising as Pikachu was safe on his surf board, damaging the Rhydon badly...

Pikachu faces the wet Rhydon...

Pikachu: <Alright, lets see if your body can resist me now. THUNDER SHOCK!!!>

Pikachu was about to shoot out a bolt of electricity when suddenly, Mewtwo appeared in front
of the Rhydon and created a barrier around themselves, and as the bolt shoots out towards
the barrier, the barrier and the electricity neutralised each other...

Mewtwo: <Impressive. It's just like Mew told me.>

Pikachu: Heh, Mewtwo, don't you know that flatter gets you nowhere.

Ash and Misty were in a room...

Ash: What's this place?

Misty: Its what "he" calls home.

Ash: Who's "he"?

Voice: You must be Ash Ketchum, right?

Ash: How do you know my name?

Voice: Lets just say that...I am the one who knows about you and your secrets.

Ash: Look, if you really know me that well, who are you?

A man was sitting on a chair in the room drinking tea...

Man: Well, Ash, I used to be a Pokemon Master. Then, I decided to hide here, avoiding the
public and and the presses. My name is Alexander, but you can call me Alex. Please, have a
seat. You too, Misty.

Ash: Thanks, Alex.

Ash and Misty sat on their chairs...

Ash: What is going on?

Alex: Well, I heard aboyt your new powers. Basically, I couldn't get to your level when I
became a Pokemon Master. Basically, you've just have the power over Electric Pokemon attacks.

Ash: Ha! What am I doing here? Am I just here to listen to your babbling over why I got my
powers?

Ash stands up and just as he was about to leave, Alex said, "Do you know who your father is?"

Ash stops...

Ash: My father? What do you know?

Alex: Basically, he disappeared without a trace.

Ash: Disappeared without a trace. Why?

Alex: Because of your mother. She kept a secret from both you and your father.

Ash: And what's this secret?

Alex stands up...

Alex: Let me tell you a story. "There was this family who were very powerful as their job was
to be protectors of this world. But due to a special sword, they hope that they are the one
who gets to be chosen by the sword. That is when *she* was chosen. This girl basically was
skillful with this sword, and that's when this feud started. Some members of the family
demanded that they should have been chosen by the sword. That's when the family split up. The
girl decided to run away, due to the fact that this was breaking her heart. Thanks to her
cousin from the other side of her family on information that she's going to be killed, she ran
off towards here, knowing that her side of the family won't tell the other side. Her cousin
also escaped to Japan, under a diffrent name, to protect himself. Basically, it ended up like
this."

Ash: But what do my powers or I have to do with this family?

Alex takes a sip of his tea and continues, "Basically, you are the Chosen One. You can seal
that wound that separated this family. Basically, the family's name was Kastumoto."

Ash: That's not what I think it is?

Alex: And the other half changed their name to Kinomoto.

Ash: I remember reading one of my mother's old diaries. It mentions her running away because
of her own family breaking up and a mention of her cousin helping her. You don't mean that...

Alex: ...that the girl who has the sword is your mother? I'm afraid that's so. I not a
nosy person, but the name, "Ash Ketchun" is only one half. The other half is "Satoshi
Kastumoto".

Ash's left hand started to spark electricity...

Alex: Believe what you want. I'm only telling the truth from my point of view...

Ash slams his left hand on the table, saying, "I can't believe that my father abandon my
mother all over a stupid sword?"

Alex: Nope. From our sources, it looked like he just disappeared from the earth. No trails,
nothing.

Ash: So, what's with the story, Alex?

Misty: In case you didn't know, the Kastumoto Family is very influential in Asia, basically,
your mother is the heiress to the Sword, meaning that you got an inheritence to collect.

Ash: Misty, I don't care about money or anything over stupid family squabbles. What I care is
that what am I suppose to do with my power to change my only other family?

Alex: Basically, you need to control your powers without the help of your gloves. Then, you'll
have to go to school. I don't want you to be jobless once your reign as Pokemon Master is
over.

Ash: Sure. Where do I train?

Alex: One place...New Island.
