Pokemon Fan Fiction ❯ A Brand New Day ❯ Hello! ( Chapter 1 )

Kat sat on her pourch as the wind blew past,blowing her hair back.She took a deep breath and grabbed her backpack.She was 12 years old,old enough to own her own pokemon.She was a bit nervous though.She had a pokemon,but only as a family pet.

“I can't wait to become a trainer!”Kat exclaimed.

“Be careful,Kat!!”Kat's mother yelled.

Kat waved goodbye and ran ahead.

As she approached lavaranch Town she felt a strange breeze blow past.It was warm yet creepy and it made a strange howling sound.She shook it off.

“Oh,Wow!This is such a cool place!”Kat exclaimed when she saw the town.

There were trees and flowers everywere.You could see an inactive Valcano in the distance,and there were several ponds.

She looked for the laboratory,were she would find her new partner.She walked for a couple in minutes,then she saw a large building.This had to be it.She walked inside and saw people in white lab coats,and lots of pokeballs.This was the place.

“Ahhh!You must be Kat!Your mother called me,telling me you were coming.”A young man smiled.His hair was brown and his eyes were green.

“Yeah,I'm Kat.”

“Great!Well we just received the 3 pokemon you can choose from,okay.”

Kat nodded and followed the professor.

“Oh,how rude of me!My name is Sam Redwood.You can call me Prof.Redwood,though.”

Kat nodded again.Then Prof.Redwood stopped at a table with 3 poke'balls sitting on its surface.

“Kat,allow me to introduce you too Piplup,Chimchar,and Turtwig!”He said,letting them out of there poke'balls.

As turtwig came out of its ball its heavy body landed on Chimchar's foot.It screeched and let an ember out on Turtwig.Turtwig began running around in circles.Piplup ran over to Turtwig and used a water gun.

“There all so cute!”Kat exclaimed.

She was having a hard time choosing between Turtwig and Piplup.

“Prof.Redwood?Can I hold them?”Kat asked.

“Oh,Sure!Just becareful,there a bit shy around new people.So don't be alarmed when they attack.”

Kat nodded.She picked up the Turtwig.It seemed to like her,a lot.Then she picked up Piplup.Piplup looked at her and started waving its flippers around.

“So cute!”Kat smiled.”I think I'll choose Piplup.I like it.”

Prof.Redwood smiled.”Okay,then Piplup it is.Also,before you leave I want you to take these with you.It's a pokedex,it records data for anypokemon you see and catch.I also want you to take these pokeballs.They could come in handy.”

Kat thanked Prof.Redwood and left to go back home.Just as she was walking,again,she felt the strange breeze.Her Piplup,walking beside Kat,began to panick.

“Piplup!!What is it?”

Piplup kept panicking and crying.

“Piplup!Calm down!!”Kat exclaimed.

Piplup just ran over to Kat and started to cry.

Kat was worried.She ran back to the lab.

Prof.Redwood!!”Kat yelled.

“Oh,Kat!Is something the matter?”

“I don't know,Piplup just brokedown and started to panick!”

Piplup was still crying,It was terrified of something.

“Well,did you try taking to it?”

“Yes,I tried that.”

Prof.Redwood nodded his head.He took out a pokeball and a red light beamed from it.There,infront of Prof.Redwood,stood an odd looking pokemon that Kat had never seen before.

“Floatzel.Try to calm Piplup down.”

“flot!”It replied,nodding its head.

Floatzel began to talk with Piplup and found out what was wrong.About 5 minutes and it went over to Prof.RedWood.It started to talk to him.

“I see!Okay,thank you Floatzel.”

Prof.Redwood returned it to its Poke'ball.

“It seems that something has scared Piplup.Floatzel said that Piplup described a strange roaring noise and possibly a pokemon itself.How your Piplup described it,it could have seen an Uxie.It's a legendary pokemon that's been appearing and disappearing around hear lately.”

“Uxie?So,it's legendary?”

“Yes,it is.But……….It is only the spirit of an Uxie.You wont beable to catch it.”

Kat nodded and left the lab.Now she was on her way home.

“Hey,Mom!!Mom!!I'm back!!”

“Kat!Did you get your first pokemon?What did you get?”

“I got a Piplup.I was thinking about introducing it to Buizel?I think Piplup is water type so maybe it will get a long with Buizel.”

“That's a good idea!”Kat's mother exclaimed.”Buizel,Dear,Come here!”

Buizel walked over to the doorway.He sniffed the air and looked behind Kat.It hopped over to Piplup and looked at it curiously.Piplup did the same.
