Chapter 1

Lilly and her best friend Cloud were walking in a forest on your way to Lillycove to rest for the night. She was in love with Cloud but he never noticed. Fortunately her pokemon and his pokemon had noticed and they tried to get him to realize she loved him. “Hey Lilly I think I see Lillycove up ahead” Cloud said. Lilly looked at where he saw pointing and saw the Lillycove pokemon center. “Come on, Lilly! I'll race you there!” “You're on!” With that the two of them raced to Lillycove. Cloud had beaten her to the Pokemon Center. “Yeah! I win!” he yelled “Ssshhh!” She hushed “People are trying to sleep here” Lilly whispered “Sorry” he whispered back “Well, we better gat a room and let our pokemon heal.” Cloud nodded his head. Both went into the Pokemon Center gave their pokemon to Nurse Joy and went to sleep in the room they were given.

 

The Next Morning

Cloud's POV

 

I felt the light of the sun hit your face through the open window as you woke up. I sat up in your bed and turned toward Lilly's bed. I was surprised when I didn't see her in bed. Then I heard some noise from outside the window. I got up to see what it was, but before I walked to the window I saw my pokeballs on the table next to your bed with a note. You read the note:

 

Dear Cloud,

I'm out training my pokemon. I got your pokemon from Nurse Joy too. : )

Lilly

 

I felt blood rush to your cheeks as you read the “Love” part. Then I heard the noise again, I ran to the window and saw Lilly with all her pokemon outside in the field of flowers just outside of Lillycove. I then got dressed, grabbed the pokeballs, and ran out of the Pokemon Center heading for the field. As I got near the field you heard Lilly and her pokemon training. “Flower use Petal Dance!” “Bulba!” Flower shoots petals out. “Cupid use Silver Wind!” “Beautifly!” Cupid's wings glowed silver then silver winds came out and surrounded the flower petals. “Tide use Ice Beam” “Marsh…tomp!” An icy beam came out of Tide's mouth. The Ice Beam froze both the Silver Wind and Petal Dance. Anyone who was watching was watching with awe and wonder. I then saw Lilly smirk. “Light use Iron Tail! Sky use Wing Attack! Ninja use Shadow Ball!” All three attacks collided into the ice, shattering it into a million pieces. All the shards were sparkling; the petals from Petal Dance flew gently on the Silver Wind. The beautiful sight before me made me smile. “She's really improved”

 

Lilly's POV

 

I smiled as I heard the people around you clapping. “They've really improved” I thought looking at my pokemon whom I was petting. Suddenly Light saw someone behind me and walked over to whom ever it was. “Light! Come back here, girl!” I shouted, but Light just kept walking. I was surprised. “Light never disobeys me, what's going on?” I thought. I looked up to whom Light was heading towards, it was Cloud. Cloud bended down to pet her. “Cloud what are you doing here?” He looked up at me and I felt myself blushing as I see his eyes glisten in the sun's ray of light. “I was just checking up on you” Light then walked over to me. Since I was still on the ground sitting she placed her head in my palms with her ears down low and her stomach on the ground. I figured she must have been sorry for not listening to me. I smiled a bit and scratched her behind her right ear. She began leaning on the hand that was scratching behind her ear showing that she liked it.

 

Light's POV

 

“I wonder when Cloud will notice that Mistress has a crush on him.” I thought looking at Mistress and Cloud. Then Flower and the other pokemon walked up to Mistress. “When do you think he'll realize?” Cupid asked me. “I'm not sure” “It might take a while for him to realize it” Flower said “True” Tide said “Well come on Lilly!” Cloud said. The pokemon and I looked up to see what was going on. “I'm not sure Cloud,” Mistress, replied, “I only do performances not battles.” Cloud then jumped back and I saw him take out a pokeball. “Go Spirit!” I then saw him throw it in the air. The pokeball opened, a red beam shot out, and it formed Spirit. “Alright! Let's battle!” I heard Spirit shout. “It looks like Cloud wants to battle Mistress.” I thought

 

Reader's POV

 

Lilly sighed “Fine. Sky go!” “Altaria!” The pokemon shouted spreading out it's cloud like wings. “Sky use Dragon Breath!” “Spirit use Dragon Breath as well” The attacks collided! “Spirit! Maximum power!” Cloud shouted “Flygon!” The desert dragon put all it's power into it making the attack more powerful then before. Cloud then got surprised as he saw Lilly smirk. “Sky use Agility!” Sky then disappeared at the last second, avoiding the Dragon Breath. “What?!” “Flygon?!” Both boys were shocked. Agility is a move used to escape from danger so Cloud knew the female dragon would evade it, but that was the fastest Agility Cloud had ever seen. “Wing Attack!” Lilly commanded. Sky then reappeared behind Spirit and its wings glowed. Then the female dragon charged at Spirit and hits him with the glowing wing. The attack caught Spirit off guard so he got knocked out cold. Spirit flew to the ground after the attack had hit him. “Spirit return!” Cloud said sending the dragon back into its pokeball. “Yeah! Great job Sky!” “Altaria!” “I thought you said you don't battle?” “I don't” “Then how did Sky get so fast?” “Sky gets her speed from performance practice.” Lilly replied sending Sky back into its pokeball. Cloud smiled and took out another pokeball and threw it in the air. “Go Rose!” “Lets go Flower!” Rose came out of the pokeball and Flower ran in position.

 

Light's POV

 

The rest of the battle was a blur to me since I wasn't paying attention. I think I remember seeing Spirit, Flower, Dark, Tide, and Stripe get knocked out. Then I heard Mistress calling my name, so I got up and ran over to where they were. Then I saw Cloud take out a pokeball and throws it. I noticed that Shadow came out of the pokeball. “I'm guessing that this is the final round between the two of them” I said “You got that right!” Shadow said. I blushed but no one noticed since it was hidden behind my fur. Like my Mistress, I was in love, I fell for Shadow. “Light use Swift!” “You got it” I then shoot out stars from my mouth heading towards Shadow. “Shadow doge it with Quick Attack!” “Right!” With amazing speed he dogged it. “Great now use Shadow Ball!” Shadow opened his mouth and a black sphere formed in it. He then shot the attack heading towards me “Quick Light use Iron Tail” “You got it, Mistress!”

 

Shadow's POV

 

I watched as Light's tail glowed white and destroys my attack when her tail collided with it. Even though my attack was destroyed I wasn't mad in fact I was surprised. Not only was she able to destroy Shadow Ball but also she was able to do it in a beautiful way. The remains of my attack glittered in front of Light making her look beautiful. I then heard Mater speaking “When your pokemon are able to counter my pokemon's attack, your pokemon some how do it in a flashy way.” “Of course! There performing pokemon it's supposed to be flashy!” Lilly said smiling. “Well this battle isn't over. Shadow use Hyper Beam!” “I beg to differ! Light stop that Hyper Beam with Psychic!” I shoot out my Hyper Beam and Light's eyes glowed blue as the gem on her forehead glistened in the sun's ray. My Hyper Beam was about to hit her but is stopped right in front of her. I then saw that both girls were smirking. The Psychic attack had worked it stopped my attack. “Light send it back!” “Got it!” Then the Hyper Beam turned around and hits me instead. When the attack hits me I felt like collapsing from the impact, so I did.

 

 

 

 

Cupid's POV

 

We were all in Lillycove Pokemon Center after the battle. I looked around and I saw Light, Shadow and Dark sleeping together by the fire; Rose, Leaf and Flower were in a field of flowers; Spirit and Sky were outside flying in the light of the full moon; Stripe, Ninja, and Tide were also outside, playing in the fields and I'm on Mistress' lap, who was next to Cloud. I'm pretty sure you're wondering why Mistress gave me the nickname Cupid. Well… let's just say I was the matchmaker back in the forest I used to live in and I'm sure you know that old habits are hard to get over. Stripe and Tide are already together so it was one less couple to deal with. I glanced at the three pokemon sleeping near the fireplace; I knew that both Shadow and Dark were in love with Light but Light loved Shadow. Spirit and Sky loved each other but they're just to scared to say so. Rose and Leaf both love Flower but she loves Rose. As for Ninja well… I don't know whom he likes but what I know is that I love him. I then heard Cloud chuckle a bit. “What's so funny, Cloud?” “Look” Mistress and I look where Cloud was pointing and I see Light leaning on Shadow, while Dark was growling softly, obviously he was awake. “It looks like Dark's jealous.” Mistress giggled. This then gave me an idea. I flew of Mistress' lap and flew towards the fields outside the Pokemon Center.
