May enters a contest in Sioyoshi City not knowing that the dark sky pokemon, Shadowpheonix, is watching her everymove.

May's Dark Contest
 
May walked toward the Sioyoshi Contest Arena; this would be her fourth ribbon out of the Obre Region.
//I can't wait! Another contest.//
Meanwhile, above her Shadowpheonix, dark sky pokemon was watching her.
“Yes, May, go and win then you will be ready to become the Dark Queen.” Whispers Shadowpheonix.
May enters the arena, only to see Harley.
“Well, look who it is.” Says Harley.
“You aren't winning this contest, Harley. I'm not gonna give in easy.” May says.
“We'll see about that.” Challenges Harley.
“Alright, lets get this contest on the way!” announces Jillian.
May comes out onto stage and calls, “Squirtle, on stage!”
The light transforms into the small blue turtle.
“Rapid Spin!”
Squirtle starts spinning at a great velocity.
“Water Gun!”
Water comes out of its shell.
“Bubble! Then Ice Beam!”
Bubbles rest in the water and the air. An ice attack freezes the water and causes the bubbles to turn into beautiful sparkles.
“What an awesome performance by May!” yells Jillian.
The crowd cheers loudly. A couple rounds later May is in the final round against, you guessed right, Harley!
“Let the battle begin!” announces Jillian.
“Cacturne, come on out hon.” Calls Harley.
“Vulpix, on stage.” Calls May.
A giant green cactus comes out of Harley's pokeball. A beautiful fox emerges out of May's.
“Cacturne, Pin Missile!”
A bunch of pins come flying out of Cacturne's body.
“Dodge It! Then Flame Thrower!”
Vulpix dodges the pins then a breath of fire hits Cacturne. It falls to ground.
“Get up, Cacturne! Right Now!”
Cacturne manages to get up, but a little too late.
“Vulpix, use Confuse Ray!”
The ray hits causing Cacturne to get badly confused.
“Now, lets finish this. Vulpix, Quick Attack!”
Vulpix hits Cacturne causing it to faint.
“Congratulations, May! You have won the Sioyoshi Ribbon!” announces Jillian.
May takes the ribbon happy to add another to her collection.
//Now one more.// thinks May.
“It is time.” Whispers Shadowpheonix.
