Whee!
A Pokemon Special Version of Pokegenie!
Disclaimer: I don't own pokemon or the concept of turning humans into genies/pokemon, as one belongs to Nintendo and a lot of other people and the other is Disruptor's. However, I do have permission to do pokegenie fics form disruptor, and as this is non-profit, non-copyright infringing fanfiction, Nintendo shouldn't have a bone to pick with me either. Don't' steal my work! Thank you *Phantomness bows*
Title: Pokegenie - Special Version
Notes: This will be Championshipping (Lance x Red). I use <> for telepathy, ** for thoughts, and italics if a pokemon talks.
Timeline: Post-Cerise, Pre-GSC, Alternate Universe, and no, no Specialshipping, at least not reciprocated. Poor Yellow.
Chapter 1

Red caught the girl as she fell and then was about to Surf off on Gyarados - Blue and Green had already taken off with Bill and Blaine, on Golduck and Blastoise, respectively, when a searing wave of heat spread over the island. He immediately dove into the water to try and cover his body.
What was going on? Had the volcano finally erupted? There was no flying debris though, hmm. Odd.
After a few minutes, the feeling of fire faded away. He stuck his head out of the water, but didn't see anything.
Wait a minute! There was something glowing up there on the lip of the volcano! Releasing Aeroy, Red hopped on it's back and soared towards the volcano. Inside, red-hot magma bubbled and sparked, sending up plumes of flame every so often.
Red shivered slightly, but continued heading towards the glowing shape. It may be some new species of pokemon or even the legendary Mew!
There! Taking out an Ultra Ball, for safety's sake, he took careful aim. The glowing pokemon was immediately sucked inside, and although it shook once or twice, it was captured.
Red smiled. He would find Professor Oak and see what the man could do to identify this… heading back, he saw to his surprise that the unconscious girl had run off with his Pikachu - Pikachu knew Surf? And that Aeroy was fast asleep. Sleep powder, he discovered, probably from her Butterfree.
Frowning, Red decided to pursue later and for now, headed back to Pallet, after he had released his Gyarados to Surf them home.

“Professor!”
Oak looked up from his lab as Red entered. “What is it, Red?” The trainer did not look injured, but he did seem preoccupied.
“Well,” Red stated uncomfortably, “I caught this new pokemon on Cerise Island and I think Yellow still has my Pikachu.”
“…Yellow still has your Pikachu?” Oak frowned. “We can deal with that later. But you got your pokédex back, I see.”
“Yes.” Red smiled confidently. The pokédex was a mark of prestige - not all trainers had them, only he, Green, and Blue…

“Well, first things first. Let me see what new pokemon you caught.” Oak said. Red handed over the poke ball and Oak frowned as he placed it inside his Healing Machine. The pokemon's injuries were blaring bright red lights up on his screen. With that in mind, he directed the machine to inject the pokemon with plenty of Iron and Calcium. It must have weak defense then…
Strangely enough, the machine was still having trouble identifying the pokemon. The first type was marked dragon, but the second kept flickering between ghost, normal, and psychic. Perplexing.
Perhaps it was some new hybrid or a gene-spliced pokemon created by Team Rocket. Perhaps the Elite Four had been genetically engineering mutant pokemon. Who knew?
Whichever the case, it would need several more hours in the poke ball to recover - there were serious burns all over its body and if he let it out of the poke ball too soon, well, it might die of exposure. Careless.
Oak left the injured pokemon and got back on the phone with Professor Elm, after telling Red that it would take at least several hours for his pokemon to heal. Red nodded and left the lab, promising that he would be back tomorrow.

Back at his house, Red took a welcome shower and then collapsed onto the bed, soon fast asleep. He had not been home in so long that he was surprised that the voice-activated door still worked.
It didn't matter. He'd pick up his pokemon tomorrow, and then continue on his journey - a twinge in his wrists dissuaded him. It was not that simple.
Lorelei's ice cuffs had done substantial damage to him; the strange voodoo magic of hers was deadly!
Somehow, he had to fix it.
But how was he going to do that? Well, he could ponder in the morning. For now, sleep and rest.

The machine's voice was an insidious whisper in his ears, even as he floated in a wash of bright light.
You are no longer a wild pokemon.
You will obey your Master.
You will never disobey him.
Your Master knows best.
You belong to your Master.
You will obey your Master…

It was partially successful, but he wasn't pure pokemon, not yet, never, no matter how much he might wish it.
His slitted golden eyes blinked as the wash finally receded. It was light he was floating in space, a strange sense of half-dreaming and half-not…
There were pretty streams of light here and there, and there were a few concentrated on just him, light pink and white, shimmering metallic silver and blue… pretty. He touched one and felt a thrill of power rush through his body.
Very interesting.

There was a movement as he felt the world around him shake - someone must have picked up his poke ball, but it wasn't Master. The feeling wasn't right. Then there was a brief pause as he felt more vibrations before all of a sudden, the darkness vanished and was replaced by natural light.

Red gaped. He'd expected a pokemon to come out of the ball, not a person! Half-slitted golden eyes rose to meet his own as the owner glided over to him.
*GLOMP*
And Red suddenly found a purring Dragon Master in his lap.

Phantomness: *grins*
Lance: sighs
Red: So why - what happened here?
Phantomness: I figure that in the games and such, there's probably something that conditions any wild pokemon you capture when they get healed so they obey you. Poor Lance just got conditioned and healed. And with all the vitamins Oak injected him with, he's not going back to normal any time soon.
