" Remember to purge the regulator every time you switch, or you'll get water in the system."
" I know dad."
" And keep an eye on your gauges. By the time your body can feel that something is wrong, it'll be too late."
" I know dad."
" And keep an eye on you surroundings, plenty of big animals still live in the water, and they've only gotten meaner since the continent sank."
" I know dad!"
" Don't get sharp with me boy, it's a father's privilege to worry about his kid," Thomas Dunlap scowled at his son Cory, and the younger man scowled back but kept his mouth shut this time. " Now where was I? Oh yeah, keeping your eyes open, and that means keeping them off Vella's ass."
" You ogle her ass all the time," Cory protested.
" That's a captain's privilege."
" You seem to have a lot of different privileges."
" My boat, my rules boy."
" Yeah? And yet I notice that mom's 'hands off Vella' rule still applies, even when we're on your boat." The older man growled something unintelligible in response and glanced a looked over at the pokegirl in question, who flashed a sharp toothed grin at the two humans.
" Son, if you want to try and get her to disregard her mistress's orders," he put as much disgust as he could muster into the final few words. " then be my guest. But don't come crying to me to patch you up when she takes a chunk out of your arm."
" Funny, when she tells the story, it's not your arm that ends up getting bitten." Thomas shot another look at Vella, who was now smiling deeply enough to show off her dimples.
" The gods save me from my wife and her pokegirl, ungrateful, selfish..."
" I'm sure my mistress would love to hear what high regards you hold her in Mr. Dunlap," Vella interrupted, her voice practically singing with laughter.
" Oh shove it in your tail and sit on it," Thomas shot back. He glared at his son's smiling face. " You going to stand there grinning like an idiot until I have to toss you overboard?"
" Wouldn't want you to strain your other arm I guess, I'm going." Cory started to turn, but his father caught him by his shoulder with the arm not stuck in a sling.
" Be careful down there son, I mean it."
" Relax dad, you've been teaching me how to dive since I was eight. After ten years, I think I got the idea."
" I know, I know, but this is your first salvage dive. It's not like being out in the open water. You got to watch..."
" Dad! Come on, can I get going while there's still sun?"
" Right, fine, get a move on."
" Come on Vella," Cory waved to the black and white pokegirl as he sat down on the boat's railing and popped the mouth piece of his air hose between his teeth.
" Coming master," Vella replied brightly as she practically skipped over the wooden deck planks on her lithe, powerful legs, her lustrous black hair waving in the sea breeze before she flipped gracefully over the railing and dove into the salty waters with barely a ripple. A second later there was a splash as Cory dropped himself in, and they both vanished under the waves.
" Wife won't even let me touch her, but she doesn't care in the slightest that her little fuck toy calls our son master," Thomas grumbled to himself. " Somewhere along the way, my life got completely out of my hands, and I can't even figure out when it happened..."

It was a bright, sunny day in the Orange League, and the water was well lit and pleasantly cool after the humid heat in the air above. Cory let himself just sink slowly for a moment, kicking lazily to keep his momentum going as he took in the underwater spectacle. Thirty years of war and neglect, followed by being sunk under a hundred feet of water and left to soak for over two centuries had reduced most of the old world city to unrecognizable rubble when viewed at a distance. Only a carefully scanning eye could sort out the artificial shapes of decaying ruins from the natural lines of the sea floor.
A dark and light streak passed across his vision, and he felt a wave of pressure as Vella's echolocation washed over him. The Orcagirl didn't need it at all to see him in the crystal clear sea, but he understood that she trusted it better then her eyes when underwater. Her streamlined form came cutting through the water at him, and Cory found himself missing his own pokegirl, an adorable little catgirl named Cypress who had such a bad case of sea sickness that merely standing on a dock made her queasy.
He didn't normally give over to fantasies about Vella, but watching her supple, graceful body flexing as her tail flicked up and down between her legs to propel her through the water, he found himself having to fight the urge. For one thing, she was his mother's pokegirl, which brought with it all sorts of thoughts he didn't want to dwell on. For another, he had known her long before he had been old enough to understand what really made people interested in pokegirls. His first impression of her had been one of youthful wonder at the obviously inhuman girl his mom had brought home with her one day, an impression that still served as the basis for his feelings towards her, most of the time anyway. He was still a guy, and even though she had helped raise him through his pre and early teens, she had never really gotten labeled as a parent figure in his mind. More of an older female friend, who just happened to have a tail, a mostly black body with a white stomach and chest, and a curving dorsal fin coming out of her spine.
As she drew up in front of him, Cory had to make himself keep his eyes on her face, always a sure sign that he'd been too many days away from his catgirl. He found himself cursing Cypress's weak stomach, as well as Vella's preferred diving attire. At least, it was the choice she most preferred of her available options. She'd be nude if her mistress would have allowed it. Cory wasn't sure if his mom simplely didn't want to torture her husband and son, or if she didn't want to tempt them, but she made sure Vella understood that she was to always wear clothes when she went out to sea. Of course, that didn't mean she had to wear much.
Vella's swim wear started out as a single piece of pure white fabric that ran between her legs, doing a decent if far from complete job of conserving the pokegirl's modesty. Just before reaching her stomach it split into two strips of cloth maybe a hand's width wide that formed a narrow V as they ran up her body to somewhat conceal her breasts before slipping over her shoulders. The swimsuit turned to black at that point, and ran down her back to join together just below her tail, leaving more than a little cheek showing.
The colors, and minimal amount of actual fabric made it hard to tell she was actually wearing anything, which was no doubt the point. If she couldn't be naked, Vella could at least appear to be, and only a closer look could reveal that she wasn't. Of course, once you were close enough to realize she was dressed, you were also close enough to appreciate just how near to nude she was.
Compared to Vella, Cory felt he might as well be wearing a trench coat and trousers, instead of just a pair of baggy swim trunks and a padded vest, and he only wore the vest because the rebreather straps were too uncomfortable to have rubbing against his skin. Of course, he was also covered in various pieces of gear necessary for a human to function underwater efficiently, goggles, swim fins, some ballast to neutralize his buoyancy, and all the tubes, straps, and gauges of the rebreather which was the most important thing he was wearing of all.
Bringing his left arm up to check the gauges strapped to it, Cory's right hand came up to signal Vella.
" Ready to go?" he signed to her.
" Of course," her own hands signed back before reaching out to release the catch that kept the tow line wound up. Taking hold of the line's handle, the Ocragirl gracefully flipped over and dove, pulling her human kite along for the ride.
Cory kicked his rubber finned feet at an easy pace, not really worrying about easing Vella's load. She could drag him along all day without effort. All he needed to concentrate on was making sure he kept the line from getting in the way of her tail, and a gentle kicking was all it took to drift him enough to one side to keep it clear.
The sea floor seemed to raise up to meet them, and Cory was doing his best to keep an eye on it and not on the shapely rear of the pokegirl pulling him along. The ruins of the old world city were completely taken over by sea life, but as they came nearer it became easier to sort out the natural rock and coral from the artificial concrete and shaped stone. Vivid strands of brightly colored water plants and slowly waving sea flowers, which were actually animals according to his dad, covered much of the ruins, dampening the haunted, abandoned feel of a city that people would never again live in.
It only took Vella a minute or so to dive to the sea floor, even with her human baggage. It was dimmer at the bottom, the sun having to filter through all the water over their heads, as well as all the shadows cast by the rolling landscape. The nearly blinding noon day light was reduced to something closer to mid afternoon, though it was practically twilight under some of the underwater cliffs and inside the sunken ruins.
Movement in the corner of his eye caught Cory's attention as he was rolling the tow line back up, and he turned in time to see a bluish green face ducking behind a stone outcropping. Maybe not people exactly, but the city wasn't completely without inhabitants. He gave the area a careful scan as Vella did the same, he with his eyes and she with her ears. He could just barely feel the extremely low pitch clicks she was emitting, but his own ears had no hope of catching the reflections, and his brain certainly would have had no way to make sense of them even if he could. He had tried to get Vella to describe what it was like, seeing with one's ears, but after several frustrating discussions they had both agreed that there just wasn't the proper words for her to make him really understand it.
" Just fish and such," Vella's hands told him.
" Saw a pokegirl," he informed her, pointing to where the aquatic girl had been. " Ran off." Vella directed her attention to the spot for a few seconds, but didn't seem ready to make an issue of it. If the feral had run away, then there was little reason to worry.
" Which way?" she asked, and Cory shrugged and pointed at random, which was good enough for Vella. The headed off at a leisurely pace, eyes and ears open for signs of something good to salvage.
It was rather amazing just how much stuff was still in decent condition after so much time, decent enough that it could be cleaned up and sold for a profit anyway. Woods and fabrics of course were a complete loss, as were most metals, except for gold and silver, which were always worth a trip to recover. Plastics and ceramics however tended to be in good shape, provided they had survived the cataclysm that had sunk the city, and most of the Orange continent for that matter. And even some stuff that wasn't in great shape could still be worth a good deal to the right buyer. Collectors of old world trinkets would pay outrageous prices for filthy, smeared, cracked pieces of junk as long as it was obviously something pre-war.
The landscape around them changed drastically. One moment they would be swimming over piles of loose rocks and coral, and then suddenly they would be traveling down the decayed ruins of what had obviously been a street, some of the road markings still visible, if faded, with cracked and tilted forms on either side that had clearly been buildings. They carefully approached those ruined structures, peering inside for signs of surviving odds and ends worth gathering, but so far they had found nothing more interesting then half a plastic plate and the badly rusted remains of what Cory thought might have been a fork. It had fallen apart when he had picked it up, and he hadn't given it any more thought.
" Air," Vella signed to him. Nodding, Cory took a deep breath, and handed the mouth piece over. The pokegirl took it, hitting the purge valve with a brief boiling of bubbles after she had it between her lips. She took several deep, chest expanding breaths, and passed it back to Cory. He gave the purge a press to clear out the water that had slipped in during the trade and they continued on.
" Been here," the Orcagirl told him as they passed from another stretch of regular sea bed to a cluster of crumbling buildings. She pointed out the bright red X's that were scrawled over the front of the structures. With everything in such a state of decay, and given the size of the sunken city, the only way to keep from wasting time searching the same places over and over was to mark them, which Cory had been duteously attending to. These marks however, weren't his, but his dad's, from an earlier trip. Looking around, he saw what seemed to be a side street that appeared unmarked.
" Over there." He motioned, and Vella nodded. Sure enough, no X's decorated the buildings down the street, and the pair continued their search.
The first few buildings down the side street were hopelessly collapsed, anything of value that might have been in them was lost for good. After that though, they hit a bit of luck, finding the remains of some kind of general store. Inside, Cory came across an unruined magazine, it's protective plastic cover still miraculously sealed, saving it from being soaked into oblivion. He couldn't make out the name on the faded cover with just the dim glow of his flashlight, but the mostly naked and very curvish female figure on the front made it clear what type of magazine it was.
He carefully slid it into the pack clipped to his rebreather's harness, feeling pretty proud of himself. His first salvage dive, and he'd already found something. Maybe not the most valuable thing down here, but his dad would be able to find someone willing to pay for such a rare pre-war print.
He was feeling so good about his first find that he didn't even think before grabbing hold of the pitted, sloping pillar that ran from floor to ceiling, using it to pull himself along to find Vella and share his discovery. The aged and battered stone work cracked off in his hand with an ominous snapping sound. The first snap was followed by a crackling series of pops as the pillar started to collapse, and Cory just barely managed to dodge out of the way as it fell. It hit the ground with a hallow sounding boom, kicking up a blinding cloud of mud and silt.
The deep, grating crunch of stone over head warned him that the worst was still to come. Cory only spared a single look at the ceiling before kicking as hard as he could for the front of the building. A jagged rent was breaking its way through the structure, and he could see the roof overhead already starting to buckle. The loss of the pillar had been the death blow for the battered building, and it would be his grave if he wasn't outside when it came down.
The gaping window that had been the store front suddenly leapt at him as the rebreather straps cut sharply into his skin. The buildings interior blurred by, and then he was out into the relatively bright open water as Vella hauled him to safety. Behind them, the store slowly finished its gradual collapse under a growing cloud of fine debris.
" You okay?" Vella's hand signs were somewhat frantic, and her expression showed she was clearly shaken. " Not hurt?"
" I'm okay," Cory replied, amazed that his hands weren't shaking. His heart was thundering and he was breathing deeply, but his mind was cool and collected. " Not hurt." Vella's shoulders sagged with released tension.
" Must be more careful," she warned him. " Never, never, never touch supports."
" Right, sorry." He found himself grateful half his face was hidden behind his goggles and the mouth piece. He should have known better, and his face was feeling rather heated in embarrassment. " Wasn't thinking" He admitted. Vella nodded, and then surprised him with a hug that squeezed a bit of air out of his lungs.
" You're important to me," she signed once she had let him go. " Don't know what I'd do if anything happened to you."
" Run," Cory replied. " Being a pokegirl wouldn't save you from mom" The Orcagirl tried to give him a stern look for making jokes when she was being serious, but the hint of a grin at the corner of her lips ruined the effect.
" Ungrateful," she flipped at him.
" Not my fault, blame my parents."
" Blame your dad."
" That's because you can't speak poorly of your mistress."
" Never given me reason to."
" Bullshit."
" She's perfect," Vella insisted. " Sweet, charming, cute ass, big..."
" Stop!" Cory interrupted. " What have I said about talking about my mom's figure?" The pokegirl gave him a full smile, dimples and all. " Can we move on?"

The next few hours were far less exciting. Vella was nice enough not to say anything to Cory's dad about the building nearly flattening him when they came back up to refill the air tank and drop off the magazine. The following dive they came back empty handed from, taking a break on the boat to grab a bite to eat before heading back in.
" If you'd like to call it a day boy, I'd understand," Thomas offered as his son was pulling on the diving gear. " It's going to be getting pretty dark down there soon."
" I'd like to get one more in if I can," Cory answered, settling his goggles in place.
" Alright, if you must. Just remember, it gets a lot more dangerous down there when it gets dark."
Cory's standard reply of " I know dad," died on his lips at the pointed look Vella gave him over his dad's shoulder. Instead he nodded. " I'll be careful"
Thomas only had a second to be surprised before his son dropped over the railing into the water. He cast a quick look over his shoulder, but only caught the flash of Vella's tail as the pokegirl vanished into the water. Muttering to himself about odd occurrences, the boat's captain retrieved his fishing pole and settled in to wait for the pair to return.

Cory had Vella take them further out on this dive, heading for the outer edge of the ruins near the drop off that marked the ocean shelf. No doubt some of the city had fallen into the infinite blackness that loomed beyond the massive underwater cliff, but whatever had was far out of reach. Even Vella couldn't have survived the crushing pressure at the true bottom of the sea, and the gods only knew what kind of monsters might live way down there.
It was noticeably darker, and Cory was glad he had switched out his usual diving light for a bigger, more powerful one. The heavy spotlight had a pistol grip, and was bulky, but it cast a very impressive beam that cut right through even the deepest shadows. Vella of course could still 'see' just as well as she had when it had been high noon.
Though he had already recovered something to make the day worth his efforts, Cory felt the thrill of his first salvage marred by the carelessness that had nearly cost him his life. He wanted to find something else, even some minor little thing, to make up for his blunder, if only to himself. So when his spotlight shone over a large rusted slab with a protruding wheel of spokes, he let himself give in to a bit of hope.
Sure enough, as they carefully swam into the building, the big, rusted hunk of metal turned out to be an old bank vault. Better yet, the massive door had been jarred partly open by its tumble into the sea. The vault looked to have sunk partially into the floor, but after a few careful minutes of examination, Vella told him she was confident she could get it open.
After getting a few fresh breaths of air, the pokegirl got into position. Setting her feet on the sturdy outer edge of the vault, she dug her fingers into the gap until she fond a good hold, and then heaved. There was a terrible screeching as the thick, rusted hinges fought against the effort to move them. The door budged maybe a half inch, and then fell back as Vella adjusted to try again. Another ear scraping shriek echoed through the building, shifting silt from the ceiling to fall in a dirty rain. Vella hauled on the door again, the muscles in her arms and legs coming into sharp relief as they bulged at the effort. With a final protest of squealing metal and a gravely crunch as the door broke through some of the floor tiles, the vault slid open just wide enough for a person to squeeze through, and a needle toothed maw came snarling out of the darkness within.
Vella barely ducked the snapping jaws, shoving off of the wall hard to propel herself away. The mouth's owner slithered after the pokegirl, and Cory quickly moved away, drawing his knife as he flattened himself to the nearest wall. The monstrous eel gave no sign that it had seen the human, and he was more then happy not to draw its attention to himself. He had little confidence that the few inches of steel in his hand would be any protection against the creature, it's body was nearly as thick as his leg and it had to be twice as long as he was tall.
The eel struck at Vella, but the Orcagirl smacked it's head aside, it's teeth closing on nothing but water. It tried to turn back towards her, but she gave it another firm whack. A flurry of blows followed to snap the eel's head back and forth, driving the creature down towards the floor. It was then that two more of the giant beasts came slithering out of the vault.
Before the twin biting jaws of the eels, Vella was forced back. She was just able to side slip the creatures before they backed her into a corner, though one of them managed to nip her tail as she rushed by. The tight quarters of the sea gutted bank turned the battle into a confusing tumble of snapping teeth, striking limbs, and slashing tails as the pokegirl and eels tried to out maneuver each other. Vella had her hands full keeping the needle like teeth from tearing into her flesh, and the eels were just unable to get past her defending blows.
As is the case in most stalemates, it was a simple matter of waiting to see who would slip up first. So when one of the eels made the mistake of positioning itself right between the Ocragirl and the open hole that lead out of the building, Vella didn't hesitate. The pokegirl screamed, not a high pitched shriek of terror, but a bone gratingly deep bellow as she turned the volume up on her very impressive sound system.
The sonic wave hit the eel like a sledgehammer, smashing it's brains right out of it's head in a bloody explosion. The wave blasted right through the creature, out the front of the bank, and slammed into the building across the street, punching a gaping hole into the structure, and starting it crumbling in on itself.
The other eel hesitated, perhaps even stunned if it had been close enough to the edge of Vella's sonic cone. The Orcagirl's hands wrapped tightly around its body, just behind it's jaws, and squeezed. It thrashed and struggled, snapping wildly as it jerked the pokegirl around, but it couldn't get at her, nor could it shake off the hands that were slowly crushing down around it.
Unnoticed by either, the first eel was shaking off the beating it had received, slowly raising back up as its eyes refocused on its intended prey. Cory however, was fully aware of it, something he was trying desperately to communicate to Vella. The pokegirl however was too focused on finishing off the enemy in her grasp to notice much else. With the creature still thrashing about in hopes of throwing her off, she couldn't tell that rapid flashing of Cory's light was an attempt to get her attention.
Cursing to himself, Cory pushed off the wall, flipping his knife to an underhand grip. The battered eel was slowly gathering speed as it recovered, but he was certain he could catch it. What he would do when he did, he had no real idea, but he wasn't about to let it sneak up on Vella.
A loud snapping sound announced the end of the creature in the pokegirl's grip as it's spine broke. Tossing aside her finished foe with distain, Vella spun around, and both the eel and Cory struck. His knife was ripped out of his grasp as the beast's tail jerked in pain, the blade sunk deep into its flesh. The blow threw off the eel's own strike, merely nicking Vella's neck instead of closing around her throat.
The pokegirl let out a startled gasp of bubbles at the near miss as she jerked back. The eel turned, casting venomous eyes at Cory as it doubled back towards him, jaws working eagerly in anticipation of rending flesh and bone. It never even saw the attack that ended its life coming.
Vella pounced on the eel with a silent snarl, and with a savage display of a pokegirl fiercely protecting a human under her care, sank her own sharp teeth in right behind the creature's head, severing its spine. Spitting out the foul tasting flesh, she tossed the lifeless body out the front of the building, sending it floating away like a discarded piece of rope.
" You okay?" Cory asked as Vella swam slowly over to him. He could see the wild look in her eyes, fierce yet, proud. It was the look of a triumphant warrior.
" Air please." She took several long, deep breaths, and the look in her eyes faded a bit as she started to calm down a little, but only a little. Cory held out his hand for the mouth piece as she finished with it, but she didn't hand it right back. Instead her head darted forward, her lips pressing firmly to his as she caught hold of his harness to keep him in place as she kissed him hard.
Cory was so shocked he didn't notice when she slapped the mouth piece into his hand. Vella looked somewhat embarrassed, but she was giving him a rather naughty smile that was only made more so by her normally innocent dimples. Without a word of explanation, she swam off, vanishing into the vault.
A slow growing burn in his lungs reminded Cory to get the mouth piece back between his teeth, and he quickly followed after the pokegirl. His spotlight revealed her busily ransacking the vault, her powerful fingers easily digging into the rusted metal of the lockboxes and tearing them open. Most burst open in a swirl of fine powder, the disintegrated remains of centuries old cash. As he came closer, Cory realized the odd, clicking buzz he had started hearing when he entered the vault was coming from Vella. The Orcagirl was humming to herself as she methodically pried open the lockboxes, smiling her dimple displaying smile.
She seemed determined not to see his hand signs as she focused on her work, and Cory just gave up trying. Setting the oversized flashlight down face first in the middle of the vault, he hooked a finger through the loop at the back and pulled. A cylindrical tube lifted up, clicking into place as the light came back on in its lantern configuration. While not as bright as the spotlight, it lit the entire vault at once now, and Cory no longer had to keep it in hand.
The vault was as badly rusted inside as it had been outside, and there was a pile of decaying bones and waste in one corner. Near the back of the vault, he found one corner had been ripped open, most likely during its tumble into the sea. No doubt the hole had been the eel's method of getting into and out of there den.
Still puzzling over Vella's odd behavior, especially over the kiss she had given him, Cory made to start helping pry the boxes open, then cursed to himself as he realized his knife was still stuck in the tail of the dead eel his mother's pokegirl had chucked outside. He briefly considered trying to open them by hand, but decided the last thing he needed while they were a half day out to sea was a case of tetanus. He suddenly became aware that Vella was no longer humming, in fact it had gone completely silent behind him.
Turning, he found the pokegirl floating a few feet behind him, bent motionless over near his light. She was holding something in her hand, something that caught the light and sent it twinkling. Cory drifted closer, and his breath caught in his throat. A small pile of clear, tiny, sparkling gems filled her palm. Her gaze came up, and her eyes were glowing almost as brightly as the prize she had found.
" Diamonds?" she signed in hopeful excitement.
" Maybe," Cory replied, reaching down with an almost shaking hand to pull one of the crystal gems out of the pile. He brought it as close to his eye as his goggles would allow. There was no way to be completely sure until they were professionally examined, but it sure looked right, and it had been locked up in a bank. " Think so." Vella actually giggled, the noise sounding odd through the cloud of bubbles that came with it. Carefully, not spilling a single one, she poured the handful of jewels into the salvage pack as Cory held it open. Once the last one vanished into the bag, he securely sealed it up, double checking to make sure it would stay closed. He looked up just in time to see Vella flying his way.
The pokegirl's arms wrapped around Cory in a tight hug, the impact of her pouncing on him sending them both spinning off until they bounced from the ceiling. Trying to keep his face under control, smiling tended to break the seal around the mouth piece, Cory tried to pry his arms free of the Orcagirl's enthusiastic embrace. He froze however, at what he saw floating near the front of the vault. At first, his mind refused to acknowledge the white and black object for what it was, because of what it would mean.
Tearing his gaze off of Vella's swimsuit, he looked down at the pokegirl who was clinging to him. He couldn't really see much of her at such a close distance, especially with the dark mass of her hair fanning out in the water, but what he did see froze him like a deer in headlights.
Vella's expression was one of complete, wild desire, her eyes staring hungrily up at him. Cory gave a tentative tug with his arms, but still had no luck in budging her grip. She pulled him down, and their bodies rubbed across each other until she could reach his neck with her lips.
A tingle of complete shock and pleasure ran through him as she kissed, licked, and nibbled her way up and down the side of his neck. Vella had her arms and now legs wrapped firmly around him, her body pressing and rubbing against his. She took hold of his ear between her lips, and he shivered as her pleasantly warm tongue caressed his lobe.
Cory found his surprise quickly turning to a sense of conflict. On one hand, this was his mother's pokegirl, his mother's! Not to mention she had been a friend for years, been someone he could talk freely with, joke with, poke fun at his father with. On the other hand, she was a very fine looking woman, and it had been several days now since he had last had some time alone with his own pokegirl. He could feel his body start making up its own mind as Vella kept rubbing against him, and she clearly noticed the effect she was having.
His arms were suddenly free as she reached down to fondle him through his swim trunks. Cory put his hands on her shoulders, trying to push her away for a moment as his mind whirled with conflicting urges. What he accomplished however, was to push her down, which Vella took as a suggestion for something else entirely.
Cory nearly hit his head on the ceiling as he kicked in surprise when Vella yanked his trunks down. She smiled eagerly at him, her hand wrapping around his stiff cock and she used it to pull him back to her. Rendered momentarily dumb struck by a mixture of anticipation and a case of mild indignity at having his manhood treated like a luggage handle, he could only watch as she brought the head of his shaft up to her mouth. Her bright pink tongue peeked out from between her jet black lips, gently teasing along the tip of his cock.
He started to reach down for her, not even sure if he meant to stop or to encourage her, but she didn't give him the chance. The entirety of his length vanished into her mouth, hot, wet suction voiding his mind as effectively as if she was actually sucking his brains out through his dick. He nearly let the mouth piece slip free as his body gave into the enjoyable treatment she was giving him.
Cory stared blankly at the rust covered wall, not really seeing it as he focused on the sensations coming from below his waist. Vella's method was entirely different then what he was used to. Cypress's oral treatments were slow, methodical, a gradual bathing of his length with her tongue before he even entered her mouth, slowly, inch by inch. Vella however, was nothing like his catgirl, she just took all of him between her lips and worked him over with her tongue and throat in a frenzy of effort as if she was in a race. Cory found himself wondering in what other ways she would be different from his pokegirl.
He tried to shake those thoughts off, it was bad enough he was letting her do what she was, but be thinking about letting her do more. Hell, he was thinking about what he wanted to do to her, how it would feel to be inside her, to feel her wrapped around his cock. Desire welled up in him, and Cory was finding his arguements against enjoying himself with Vella making less and less sense to him.
Vella gave him a disappointed look when he pulled her off his cock, but it only lasted as long as it took for him to haul her body up through the water and seize her hips. The sparkle returned to her eyes and the dimples to her cheeks as she smiled at him. She laid back in the water, letting him guide her into position as his hands slid out to grasp and spread her legs. Cory felt his heart beat firmly against his chest as he paused to admire the wonderous display of Vella's uncovered body.
The shining black strands of her hair drifted lazily about her rounded face, adding a relaxed sense that contrasted with the intense lustful hunger in her green eyes. Her form was slender, sleekly muscled, not quite as well rounded as his catgirl, but far from being able to called angular. The bright white patch that ran from her chest all the way to the tip of the underside of her power tail made a very nice contrast to the light drinking black of the rest of her body. It seemed to him that her coloration was such simply to draw the eye to it, and the rather interesting bits it then highlighted.
Vella was nowhere as well endowed as Cypress, her body was designed to be streamlined, but what she had seemed just perfect for her to Cory. Just as enticing was the way her bright pink pussy stood out against the brilliant white that ran between her legs, practically inviting him to take her, to feel her insides wrapping about him.
Cory had meant to enter her slowly, the way he did with Cypress, but an overwhelming urge struck him as soon as the head of his cock pushed into her waiting pussy. He didn't want it to be like taming Cypress. Vella was not his catgirl, and slow and steady wasn't the right way to fuck her. He yanked on her silky smooth legs, jerking his hips forward, and they slid together hard.
Vella's mouth opened in a silent gasp as her body arched back. He slid her forward, easily moving her body through the water, and then pulled her hard back along his length. The swirling rush of water and a muffled thump reached his ears as he slammed into her again, and again, and again.
Either Vella was easy to get off, or she had been really worked up. Either way, her pussy squeezed tightly around Cory's cock on his fifth thrust, her floating body squirming on the end of his manhood. A few bubbles escaped her lips when she finally wound down after several long seconds, her body relaxing even as Cory continued to hammer into her.
The Orcagirl sat up, pulling the mouth piece out and giving him a deep kiss before she took a breath from it. She carefully placed it back in his mouth for him, hitting the purge so he wouldn't have to take his hands off her or pause in fucking her. She laid back down, her eyes glinting lustily up at him, watching him closely as he used her body to find his own relief.
Just as it felt like his cock was ready to burst, Vella took the taming out of Cory's hands. Her tail flicked hard as she pulled her legs out his hands and folded them to her chest. Her whole body rotated, and Cory really did lose the mouth piece this time as he felt her squeeze down on him as her pussy spun around his cock. His seed poured into her as he fumbled for the end of his breathing tube, gasping into the mouth piece once it was firmly back in place.
He was now staring at Vella's sleek backside, her dorsal fin raising a good foot out of her back between her shoulder blades. She started to pull free of him, but Cory's hand shot out and snagged her by that fin. She gave him a look over her shoulder as he tucked her tail under an arm, and then used her fin to haul her back firmly onto his cock. He gave her a look that she could read even behind his goggles and breathing tube, he wasn't done with her yet.
Vella grinned wickedly at him as he started thrusting into her again, gently at first. His manhood was still feeling overly sensitive from his first orgasm, and the feelings running through it threatened to be too strong, to overwhelm the pleasure of how her snug pussy felt rubbing along him.
Slow, steady, shallow thrusts, holding onto her by her fin. A hand crept around to the front of her body, giving some overdue attention to her breasts, rubbing his palm across the firm but supple mounds. The rhythm built, picking up speed, pushing deeper into the pokegirl. The hand playing with her chest took a firm hold of one breast, the thumb stroking across the hardened tip.
The tail under his arm twitched as Vella's back arched and rolled, and Cory had to tighten his grip on her fin to keep her from slipping away. He buried his cock deep into her pussy, thrusting fast but shallow, as fast as he could manage. The water was a hindrance, but nothing he was going to let stop him.
Vella's legs came up and wrapped around his waist, holding them tight together. She bent down, until Cory had to stretch to keep a hold of her fin, and it nearly slipped from his finger when he felt her caress his balls. It snapped through his lust addled mind for a moment just what an odd position they were in, floating weightless in the water, him taking her from behind with her legs up and around him while she was bending forward and around to play with his sack.
They drifted about the room, being pushed along by Cory's driving thrusts, Vella using light flicks of her tail try and keep them from crashing into anything. Her attention to anything other then what was happening inside her however was lax at best, and after nearly running head long into the wall of lockboxes she just took hold of one of the open edges.
Cory was quick to take advantage of Vella anchoring herself, regaining his hold on her fin with both hands. He pulled, ramming his cock deep into her, and the pokegirl had the brace herself to keep from being driven into the wall. Her fingers squeezed into the metal of the lockboxes, gouging deep grooves as her tamer's son hammered into her with enough force to have risked injury to a human female.
The increasingly rough coupling and Vella's strength finally ripped apart the degraded metal, sending them both spirling out of control. The pokegirl's tail automatically swung to correct the spin, and she sent the light sailing right out of the vault, the heavy door ringing as the sturdy flashlight's casing clipped it. Cory froze as complete darkness settled on them, his ears almost vibrating from the noise.
Vella's insistant tug got his attention back where she wanted it. The darkness didn't put her off at all, and she wasn't going to let it stop them. Cory couldn't see a thing, but he really didn't need to either. A firm wiggling of the pokegirl's hips was all it took to get him thrusting into her again.
His hands groped in the dark, running enjoyably over Vella's water slick skin. Firm and soft, smooth and rounded, cooler outside and deliciously warm inside. The legs around his waist loosened, and Cory groaned as she turned, her pussy rotating around him. A leg draped over his shoulder, and he took hold of the limb. His other hand found its way between her spread legs, and his thumb stroked across the top of her opening as he hammered away at her. She returned the favor, her hands once again playing across the sensitive flesh at the base of his manhood.
The feeling of her smooth hands spurned a fresh desire into Cory, a dull ache of need creeping along his length. Each thrust slid his cock against the snug, warm, slick inside of her pussy and rubbed his balls along her fingers. A tightening pressure squeezed at him, and then blasted out in a rush of pleasure that sent his head spinning.
Vella shifted her finger's attention as she felt, for the second time, her mistress's son coming inside her. Her digits rubbed over her own sensitive spot, pushing aisde his hand to press her clit down and rub it against Cory's cock. A deep shudder ran through her, not quite the explosion from before, but a still very pleasant wave of release.
They drifted for a long moment, slowly tumbling from their momentum, until Cory finally let Vella's slip from his grasp, and the pokegirl released him as well. Cory quickly found himself missing the contact with her, and not just for the pleasant feeling, but because he suddenly felt very alone with the darkness pressing in about him. It only lasted a second however before Vella came swimming back with the flashlight. While he readjusted his trunks, she set the light down and then swam over to retrieve her own swimwear.
" What prompted that?" Cory asked once she was redressed. " I didn't think you ever thought of me like that."
" I've always wanted to," she told him. " Ever since you first started becoming a man." She gave him a long, considering look. " I've just never had the guts to try. I think...I guess I was just so wound up, so excited, so...impressed."
" Impressed?"
" You risked yourself to save me. That eel would have had me if not for you."
" You saved me earlier."
" Not at any personal risk though. And like you said, that was in my own self interest, your mom would have killed me."
" My mother...we can not tell her about this."
" No, no we can't. Especially not if we want to do it again." She gave him a mischievous smile, and he had to take the mouth piece out to give her one back. " So, shall we go show your dad what we found and see if we can give him a heart attack?"

Night had fallen on the under sea city, a murky reddish orange glow from above showing that the day would be ending above the waves soon as well. It had certainly been a very interesting day for Cory, one that would certainly lead into more interesting days to come. If the diamonds were real, and he had no doubt they were, then he'd just made more from his first salvage then his dad had from the last ten years. And then there was Vella, and the fun they would be having, in secret maybe, but somehow that just made it all the more appealing. There had also been the close calls, nearly being crushed under a building, and the eels...
The eels. Cory cursed to himself, remembering that his good knife was still stuck were he had left it in the tail of one of the creatures. He turned to Vella, grabbing her by an arm to get her attention so he could talk to her. As he did, he saw it coming out of the corner of his eye, massive, fast, and heading right for them.
There was no time to think, to consider, only to act. Cory hauled on the surprised pokegirl's arm, swinging her around and tossing her aside just in time. The impact stunned him as the enormous shape slammed into him, and pain lanced through his left arm. A terrible pressure was pinning the limb to his side, and he looked down to see a row of saw edged teeth stuck into his flesh. He could also feel the rebreather being jammed painfully into his back, and could hear the slow bubbling of air leaking. Another rattling impact hit, and he was suddenly tumbling free, and he got his first good look at the monster that had nearly swallowed him whole.

Seeing Cory thrown out of the shark's mouth as she slammed into it did little to quell the overwhelming fear and horror that had squeezed Vella's insides into an icy lump. Blood was pouring freely from his arm, and a steady stream of air was leaking from the rebreather. If he wasn't already dead, he seemed doomed to either bleed out or drown instead.
The great white's head whipped around at her, ramming her hard enough to make tiny lights dance across the pokegirl's eyes. It's jaws snapped together with a sound like a gun shot, missing her flesh by inches as she moved to keep to the side of the huge shark. It swung it's great head around at her again, knocking her away, sending her tumbling.
Vella's tail pumped for all it was worth as the shark made a fast circle to face her, forcing her to flee before the beast. It's speed was incredible for such a large creature, it had to be almost thirty feet long and several times as thick around as she was, but it's own tail pushed it through the water with ease. She could sense it bearing down on her, her finely tuned ears painting a chilling image in her mind of the creature right on top of her.
She dove, the great white's terrible teeth nearly taking the tip of her tail off as it made a grab for her. It changed course and came after its prey, but Vella had managed to put some distance between them. It might be as fast, but its greater mass made it harder for the shark to change direction once it got going. Realizing this, Vella quickly changed direction again, cutting a sharp angle away from her current path.
The gap between her and the shark suddenly sprang open, and Vella glanced behind her in surprise at what her echolocation was telling her. Her surprise quickly turned to panic as she saw the great white had given up trying to chase down such nimble prey, and was heading back for the much slower moving, and already wounded prey Cory represented. The young man was moving, his legs kicking frantically to send him towards the surface, but his rate was pathetic compared to what either the pokegirl or shark could accomplish.
Vella sped after the creature, fear pushing her body to its limits as she struggled to catch up. She considered blasting it with her sonic cry, but she couldn't be sure she wouldn't hit Cory with it. Granted he was at the far edge of her range, but humans weren't very sturdy even when at their best, and he certainly wasn't in good shape.

Cory tried not to panic as he watched the fearsome underwater monster raising up through the dark waters towards him, but frantic thrashing of his legs as they tried to speed him away gave testament to how little success he was having in that regard. He felt like he was trying to push his way through thick syrup, while it seemed the shark was swimming through air. He could just see Vella coming up behind the beast, but the distance between her and it was closing so slowly, and the gap between him and the monster was shrinking so fast.
In desperation, he pointed his spotlight at the shark, hoping that just maybe the bright light might startle the creature, or even better blind it. The first blast of light seemed to have some effect, but Cory's hope never really got off the ground before it nosed dived into the runway. The shark hesitated for a second, but then just shrugged off the light and kept coming.
The second was all Vella needed however. The fear driven pokegirl finally caught up with the shark, her hands grabbing hold of the creature's tail, and her sharp teeth drove through the hard scales into the softer flesh beneath. The great white's tail snapped like a whip, hurling the Orcagirl aside and tearing a painful chunk out of its own fin. Blood pouring into the water from its wound, the enraged shark turned back after the pokegirl.
It came charging in, mouthing opening wide enough that it seemed it would just gulp down Vella in one bite. At the last instant though the pokegirl dodged to the side, twisting out of the way of the snapping teeth. Her elbow scored a hard blow in the shark's gills, and Cory silently cheered. Then it's tail came slashing around, and Vella's head snapped back as the fin caught her square across the face.
The pokegirl spun, and started to drift bonelessly as the shark swam on. There was blood leaking from it's gills as well as its tail, and Cory was just about to let himself hope it was done with them and was off in search of easier prey. Vella however, looked to be completely unconscious, and if it decided to turn back...
Casting an anguished look at the surface of the water, so tantalizing close, Cory tucked his injured arm closer to his chest and forced himself to swim in the opposite direction that he wanted to go. The amazingly ominous sound of bubbles leaking from the holes in his air hose made him question his sanity, he was loosing blood and air, two things he really needed, and neither of which he could be sure how much he had left of. The gauges strapped to his arm had been crushed to uselessness, though the salty tange that was building with each breath was a good indication of how much water was getting into the system. For his body, he only had the growing sense of light headedness to judge his blood loss by.
Reaching Vella, his good arm took her by her fin and pulled her closer. Her eyes were rolled back in her head, but at least she wasn't breathing. Her body still had enough sense of things to know she was underwater and to hold its breath. Snaking his arm around her to get a good hold, he started back up, moving at an even more agonizing pace then before, his legs already starting to burn in protest.
The sight of the great white returning made Cory nearly want to cry in frustration. He gave Vella a desperate shake, willing the pokegirl to snap awake, but her eyes merely fluttered and her limbs twitched aimlessly. A surge of fear nearly made him let go of the pokegirl and leave her to save himself, but Cory stomped down on that thought. She deserved better than that, and he was not about to let himself be overcome by cowardess after the bravery she'd shown in defending him.
Pushing Vella behind him, Cory pulled the rebreather off his back as fast as he could, ignoring the jolts of pain using his injured arm sent racing through him. His heart beat hammered hard and threatening in his ears as the shark came closer, and he just hoped his desperate plan had any hope of working. Calling it as much as a plan was probably generous, but he had no other options.
It was nearly on top of him, and Cory readied himself, waiting for it, for just that right moment, watching the shark's eyes. Those dead black orbs were locked onto him, staring with a horrible hunger as it came upon him. The great jaws opened, a gaping maw of razor sharp teeth, leading into a lightless pit of hunger. And as its mouth opened to strike, the great white's eyes shut, a protective instinct to guard the vulnerable organs from the thrashing of prey.
Cory swung the rebreather into the shark's mouth, spitting out the mouth piece as he aimed to one side to keep it from simply vanishing down the beast's gullet. Blind, the beast automatically bit down as soon as it felt something enter its mouth. With thousands of pounds of force behind them, dozens of powerful teeth ripped into the rebreather, piercing the air tank itself this time.
The explosion of suddenly released air knocked Cory back just before the shark ran him down. It also blasted a chunk the size of a beach ball out of the beast's jaw. The great head swung aside inches from his face as the shark thrashed in pain, darting off in a frenzy of agony, great billowing clouds of blood trailing after it.
He didn't have time to be grateful things had worked out. Cory quickly grabbed Vella, and started for the surface. The burning in his legs was soon joined by a growing burn in his chest as he struggled upwards. Close, so close he could see the surface rolling and twisting with the waves, and yet still so far away as his kicking began to flag, spasms of pain cramping his muscles as he tried to force them to work on dwindling supplies of oxygen. Blackness began to eat away at the edges of his vision as a lead coat seemed to settle over him. And then there was water flooding his mouth, a filthy, salty taste choking him, and he couldn't kick another stroke. The darkness settled over his vision completely, and the muffled crash of waves over his head was the last sound he heard.

"...don't believe there was any brain damage, but we can't..."

"...so sorry Cory, please..."

"...is healing nicely, though the scars..."

"...enough to retire, and he's promised to get you..."

"...come on boy..."

"...miss you, please..."

"...let her stay, she needs to..."

"...please Cory, you really need to..."

Cory's eyes opened slowly, and blinked shut at the painful white light that flooded into them. He tried to raise a hand to shield them, but something was holding his arm down. He tried to other, and found it moved, but he couldn't bend his elbow, and it felt unusually heavy. Squinting, he looked down at his limbs.
His left arm was wrapped in a thick cast that ran from his wrist nearly up to his shoulder. That at least explained why he couldn't move it, as well as the weight. As for his other arm, his blurred vision took a moment to realize the jet black mass pinning it down was Vella. The pokegirl was sitting beside his bed, fast asleep, bent forward to rest her head on her arms propped up in the edge.
Tugging his arm free, he shook his hand to try and get the feeling back into it, and started to really look around. His mind felt sluggish, and he couldn't seem to recall why he should be in a hospital, which the sterile white room clearly was a part of. His arm was broken, but for some reason he couldn't remember how.
He started playing absently with Vella's hair, trying to arrange the velvet black strands. What was she doing here? He would have sooner expected Cypress to be camped out by his bed. Where were his parents? His dad was going to be pissed that he's broken his arm, the old man had been counting on Cory to do the salvage work while his own arm...
Cory bolted upright in bed as it all came crashing back down on him. The dive, the diamonds, Vella, the shark...

Vella was jolted out of sleep by a sudden motion that nearly dumped her on the floor. Her flash of annoyance instantly turned to pure joy at the sight of Cory sitting up, his eyes wide open. With a happy squeal she practically jumped into the bed with him, flinging her arms about him.
" You're awake!" she cried. " We were starting to lose hope that you every would!"
" Vella," Cory choked out. " Not so hard..."
" Sorry!" the pokegirl said as she let him go. She gave him her best smile, dimples and all. And then she broke down sobbing.
" Vella? Whoa, hey now, calm down," Cory tried to sooth the suddenly crying pokegirl. " What's wrong?"
"...I...I just...you've been...it was all my fault!" She slowly got out between sobs.
" What? How can you say that?"
"...I was...suppose to watch out...for you...but I was too stupidly happy...after we...and I wasn't paying attention..."
" Vella," Cory pulled her in close as best he could one armed, hugging her. " It snuck up on both of us. You can't blame yourself for that."
" And I couldn't even stop it, everything I did was useless."
" That's not true at all. You saved my life, I would have been fish food within the first few seconds if you hadn't reacted so fast."
" I didn't do anything that..."
" Stop that!" Cory interrupted. " You did plenty, you did everything you could. We're both alive, that's what's important right?" Vella nodded slowly, sniffling.
" What happened Cory? Last thing I remember was getting knocked out by the thing's tail, and then I wake up and it's gone and you're drowning cause the rebreather is gone. I found the remains of the thing on the sea floor looking like it had been put through a giant grinder."
" Yeah, well that's not too far off. I jammed the thing into the shark's mouth. It exploded and took a nice chunk out of the guy."
" You...what on earth made you do something that crazy?"
" Well it was either that or leave you behind as a diversion, so I figured I didn't really have much choice."
" You...you came back for me?" The Orcagirl looked ready to start crying again. She threw her arms around him in another crushing hug. " You stupid, crazy, wonderful, brave..." She took him by the face, and kissed him, fiercely, wrapping her body around his, rubbing and grinding and...
" Vella!" The high pitched, shocked voice jerked the pokegirl's head up, her eyes darting to the door with the look of a child caught with her hand in the cookie jar.
" Hi mom," Cory sighed, suddenly wishing he could slip back into his coma...
