Prologue

You enter a set of black arrow-topped gates in Viridian City to four buildings arranged in a cross; a two story building surrounded by three ten story buildings. The three taller buildings have ten stories, each of which has ten windows on either side of the building; each window being a dorm room which has a kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a small area with tables and a couch. The other building has ten rooms on both its stories, each room with two big windows one a top each other, with ten windows located outside the rooms. Behind the two buildings, is a big clearing, with the classic Pokemon Battle Arena, and beyond that is the Viridian Forest. Nearby are the teacher's dorms. This, my friends, is Pokemon Academy.

How, you ask, was Pokemon Academy constructed? First, let me tell you a story about a certain young boy who had a dream to be a Pokemon Master…

A hundred years ago, there was a ten year old boy who dreamed of being the best Pokemon Master ever. Let's call him…Ash. He lived in Pallet Town, where most Pokemon Trainers start their journey with a Bulbasaur, Charmander, or a Squirtle, which they get from the town's local porfessor. Let's call him Professor Oak. However, when Ash gets to Professor Oak's lab, he has no more Pokemon to give him, except a Pikachu. So Ash took the Pikachu, who didn't really like him. A few months later, he and Pikachu have become best buds, and he had made new friends during the few months, Misty of the Cerulean City Gym and Brock of the Pewter City Gym. A few years later, he had made a lot of new friends, along with several people who joined his team for a while. They included Tracey, a Pokemon watcher/drawer who soon stayed in Pallet Town to help Professor Oak, and May and Max, the daughter/son of Norman, the Petalburg City Gym Leader.

After about 20 years, it's the year 2020. (Here's the timeline: 1990: Ash's born. 2000-2003: Satoshi goes on Pokemon journey. I figure it's a year on each season, so 2000 is the Kanto Region, 2001 is the Orange League, 2002 is for Jouto Region, and 2003 is the Hoenn League. In twenty years, starting at the year 2000 is 2020, so Satoshi is 20.) The Satoshi gang (Satoshi, Pikachu, May, Max, Brock, and Misty) had disbanded and went their separate ways. Brock had taken over the Pewter City Gym after his parents retired (Can they do that?), Misty was still the leader of the Cerulean City Gym, and Tracey was now the assistant to Gary, after Professor Oak passed away several years before. May was now the best and most famous Coordinator, and Drew was the only one who could best her. Harley was banned from the Contests after he was found cheating. Max took over his father's gym after he retired and is now a pretty good trainer. (Okay…I'm assuming that he's nine years old…so, after twenty years, he's twenty-nine…) Team Rocket, Team Magma, and Team Aqua finally gave up and abandoned the idea of conquering the world. After that, Jessie, James, and Meowth became Ash's friends.

Though they weren't traveling together anymore, the gang occasionally met up once in a while at Ash's house. They reminisced about old times and they shared stories about the new times too. On one occasion, they started to joke about how cool it would be if they created an academy designed for kids to fulfill their dreams of becoming Pokemon Trainers. A few months later, the Pokemon Academy was founded, and Ash was the headmaster.

One hundred and eighty years later, in the year 2200, the Satoshi gang is dead (Gee…who can live for more than two hundred years?), but Pokemon Academy was still standing. However, there have been a few more rules than when Ash was headmaster and the property has been changed a little (check the beginning of the chapter).

Even after the three teams abandoned their attempts to conquer the world, a fourth one had appeared after one hundred and sixty years, calling themselves Team Shadow. For twenty years, Team Shadow has been terrorizing the people of the Pokemon World. However, the person who will stop Team Shadow along with his friends. However, even he doesn't know that yet. He's still trying to get up in the mornings. His name? Oh, yes, his name. His name is Axemelee Nova, or Axle.
